D'aww, no date for Caden, then..

Caden got himself another cup of coffee, not wanting to seem intrusive or just as though he was hanging around by himself at the side of the stage. He was curious, though, probably more than he should have been, in all honesty, all things considered. He had enough to sort out as it was without thinking too much about Brielle. Besides he'd probably read way too much into their little moment yesterday.

No, not yet :)

Brielle finished her apple and got up, walked briskly over to the trash can, and dropped it in. She had the sudden urge to throw up, but she held it in, for now. She closed her eyes for a moment. She walked over to Sebastian. "Uhm, Sebastian...? Will you take me home? Like, now?" Her vision was starting to get blury. Even Brielle had to admitt she needed to go home.

curses!!!!! My matchmaking skills will not fail! They WILL get together!

Mei watched Brielle, getting extremely nervous. She looked like she was about to blow chunks or something. She went into the office, to check and see if maybe there was a bag or something, in case Brielle did get sick. "Hey Eli, are there any plastic bags or barf bags in here? One of the girls might get sick, so I want her to have something in case she gets sick on her walk home."

Sebastian looked up. "Oh um yeah sure. " He told her "Just lemme see if I have my keys," He patted around in his pockets until he pulled them out. "You don't look too good Hun. Are you not feeling well?" He asked setting aside the papers from his lap and standing up. He opened the front door and held it open for Bri. "I'm parked around back." He told her gesturing toward the one side of the building.

Eli thought for a moment. "Yeah, I think there are some plastic bags in one of those drawers." He said pointing to a stack of drawers on the side leg part of desk. He pulled open a couple of the drawers until he found a small box with small plastic bags in it. He handed it to Mei. "Here you go, I hope shes okay."

Mei took the bag from Eli and nodded thankfully. "Awesome! Thank you so much, and I'll let her know," Meimei said quickly, before running out and handing the bag to Bri. "Here," she said quickly. "Just in case you get sick before you make it to your apartment. I'll be over later, girl. I'll bring some nice herbal tea and a salad."

After that, she went back to the office to see Eli, and talk to him a little bit more. "So, Eli, what brought you to work here? You could have had any other stage job, why this one? I mean... it's not that great here."

Bri nodded to Sebastian, following him to his car. She gripped the plastic bag in her hand, determinded not to throw up until she got home. Brielle attempted to take deep breaths, but it was getting to the point where she could only take shallow ones. She got into Sebastian's car, holding back barf and tears.

Eli shrugged " I needed a summer job a while back and this was just about the only place hiring. And I figured that helping being a stage hand for a group of dancers wouldn't be too hard. " he told her. " And then I guess I never left. I mean I had no idea what sort if business I wa getting into at that point but there was really no quitting with Joseph..."

"So what made you want to come work here, I mean why not anywhere else? Ive heard you sing, you have an amazing voice so why did you decide to come work here, to come be... Some sort of glorified prostitute?" Once again his brainfilter was not really working. Some people might have apologized and said try didn't mean it like that, but he wasn't and he did. That was honestly how he saw them and what they did.

One way to get punched in the face right there.

Sebastian drive Bri to her apartment and simply pulled over out front. He turned the car off and then got out and opened Bri's door for her. "okay sweetheart. Were here. "

"Well, because I was a Chinese immigrant with nowhere to stay, no family, no home. I couldn't get an audition because I didn't have enough money to hire an agent. Someday I'll get out of this hell hole, I'll be on Broadway. But the directors for the auditions I managed to go to wanted pretty, voluptuous white girls. So I ended up here, because they wanted an exotic girl. They said I would sell. And just to let you know, I've never slept with anyone. I know how drugs work, I know how to make guys unable to 'do the nasty'. I'm not a prostitute, and I don't want to be here. But I have to get by somehow." She didn't sound angry, just honest, and she gave a shrug.

Brielle's hands shook and tears finally started streaming down her face. "Thanks..." she said to Sebastian. She collapsed onto her couch, the world becoming black.

"Oh... " Eli said not sure really what else to say. He couldnt help but laugh when she spoke about her knowledge of drugs. "Remind me never to let you go near any of my food. I know what you mean though, its a job and it actually pays pretty decently. " He sat down in one of the office style chairs that spun around and was on wheels.

Meimei said, "Well, I only do it to the clients, not to my friends or cute guys who work backstage." She blushed and averted her eyes, fumbling with the zipper of her jacket. "It's enough to get by, anyway. Plus, every show gives me more publicity, and maybe someday an agent will see me and will want to help me get auditions."

"Aww sh't. Well, then I'm definately getting drugged then. I don't fit into a single one of those categories." Eli said shaking his head a bit. "Just out of curiosity, where are you getting these drugs , and what exactly do you do once they um pass out or what ever? You know just for reference..." He understood what she meant about the publicity sometimes you had to just stick with even the crappiest job for a year or somethimes a few in order to get where you want to go.

Mei blushed even more and said, "You do fit into the category, though! Well... one of them... yeah... Well, I can get them from china-town. Really, they're more like herbs than drugs. I just slip them into their food or their drink and they're out cold. Once they're passed out, I remove their clothes except their underwear and throw it around. When they wake up, I make myself act all tired and pleased and say how "good" it was, and then I charge them for how long I had to sit around with them."

"Note to self, remember this conversation. It may be useful later as evidence " Eli told himself out loud, he couldnt help but feel the urge to grin, she was crafty this one. "At least now I know for future reference if I ever wake up like that not remembering anything I'll know who to blame."

He watched her cheeks pinken into a deeper shade of red. "Oh really? Which one?" He asked her smirking a bit. Once he loosened up a bit he had a slight habbit of become a shameless flirt.

Meimei laughed and tossed her hair with a careless shrug. "Girls need to know how to defend themselves. I do it through herbal remedies. Besides, it's much better than actually going through with the dirty deed." When he asked her the question, she knew he was flirting with her. She crossed her legs and smirked, pretending to think about it. "Well, right now you fir into the cute backstage worker category. But, I would like it if you could fit into both categories, you know?"

Eli made his best thinking face like it was a very stressful decsision. "Hmmm, I don't know about that. I'm gonna need sometime to think on that one." He told her trying to make a good serious face without cracking. He glanced up at the wall clock, almost his lunch break. "Thank God, I'm starving." He said to himself. Not only did he need some food but he also needed a smoke, if he hadnt been so busy he would have gone out for one earlier.

Meimei grinned at him and said, "Well, I hope it doesn't take you too long to decide. Or I might have to use my feminine wiles on you." She giggled, then got up. "Hey, want to push up our lunch date until today? there's a great Thai place down the street, we could check it out together." She put up her hair in a ponytail and stared him down with her best puppy dog face.

Eli made a face, holding in laughter. "Feminine wiles?" He mocked. He shrugged "Sure, I guess so." He said Getting up as well. He grabbed his coat off of the chair that he had thrown it on. "You ready?" He asked her tossing his coat over his arm. He didnt think it was quite cold enough to actually wear it but he wanted to bring it just in case.

Meimei laughed, then put on her jacket over her neon tee shirt. She was wearing short shorts and leggings, but they would keep her relatively warm, which was good. She linked her arm through Eli's and said, "Come on. I swear, lunch breaks are way too short around here." She gave his bicep a squeeze, but didn't say anything about the muscle in his arm.
