"Oh um... you're welcome, I guess," she said, giggling slightly. She hadn't really had experience with men-- well, besides the clients. But they didn't really count for anything. But she liked that Eli was soft spoken, that he didn't demand attention, and that he worked hard. "Yeah, I guess I'd better get back to work too. See you around, I hope?" She smiled and gave a small wave before walking back into the theater space, her coffee in her hand. She hadn't really thought about what the others would think, just because she felt like she should be allowed to do what she wanted, as should he. They were both adults, they could make their own choices.

Eli simply nodded unsure of what else to say. He was also unsure of what this meant, this whole lunch outing thing, what was it exactly. He shrugged it off figuring it was better left labelless. He didn't really like puttin labels on things that only meant expectations and general social and societal obligations. He couldn't help but chuckle softly at her, 'I hope' it really wasn't that big of a building there was generally no real avoiding someone so you tended to see pretty much everyone around at some point in the day. Eli decided to start working by organizing some loose papers scatter around again until he was actually given a task.

Mei went to the stage and started working on the most recent routine they had learned in rehearsal. She wanted to make sure she had it down, beat for beat. She hummed softly, but her mind kept getting distracted by thoughts of Eli. She had a pretty bad crush, that was certain. But the outing tomorrow... well, she would just say it was an outing. After all, she wanted to get to know him before trying to date him or anything.

Sebastian walked in casually through the main entrance right on time with a pale colored styrofoam cup from a coffee shop. " Morning!" he called out in a loud voice setting down his messenger bag full of work related papers by his usual seat beside the stage. He walked back to the room with the others. "Mmmm" he said picking up a chocolate covered doughnut and taking a bite. " So what's on the agenda for today?"

Mei said, "Well, I don't really know!" She had walked in to get a refill of coffee. "Hopefully we can make this a quick rehearsal! Which means we have to nail everything that gets handed to us today. But oh well!" She sat down with her coffee, tilting her head back and sighing after she took a sip. Coffee was always a delight to her. Food in general delighted her, actually. "I'm so tired today... I wish I'd had more time to sleep."

"Late night?"" Sebastian asked in a caring manor. He resisted the urge to make a small joke o cutting back on late night business but that was something he never liked to think about. These girls were family to him and he hated to think about them in that way, putting themselves in danger and just simply a bad situation. " I know what you mean we were all here pretty late, but I think it's getting to be pretty amazing. I think in some aspects it's worth it though... "

Mei said, "Well, it was, but not for what you think. I had a gig at a jazz venue near Broadway, and I couldn't refuse. And you know I don't sleep with them! I always make sure they're somehow-- unable, to get to that in time." She never explained to anyone else what she did to the men, but having been raised in a Chinese village, and not a city, she also had some knowledge of herbs. She usually put some sleeping pills or herbs into their drinks before getting alone with them. She'd shimmy out of her clothes, kiss them for a while, and then boom. Down they'd go. She'd undress them and wait for them to wake up, then charged them for the amount of time they slept.

Sebastian chuckled. " I never said you did. " he pointed out. Chuckling again he added "I'm sure you do, you always were a devious one.." he smirked. He found it a bit gunshots the things the girls would come up with to get themselves out of sleeping with someone. Of course he also thought that they shouldn't have to do or even think of such things, that sort of business shouldn't even really be expected. But then again he was also somewhat biased, sure he knew they were all adults and able to make their own decisions but thy were still so young and he often still saw them as children and he really loathed the darker side of the business for putti them into those situations it caused him to worry quite a bit about them all.

Bri gave Sebastian a playful glare and said, "You left me last night, jerk." Usually, Brielle would have been genuinely upset with Sebastian not walking her home, but in the incident that occured last night, she was really fine with it. The tall blonde picked up a Poptart and nibbled on it a bit, not as hungry as usual.

Caden fixed up coffees for everyone who had requested on, and them handed them around accordingly, he himself having a green tea since he'd already had coffee that morning. They were a few girls short yet, and so there wasn't a whole lot to do until they all arrived. Just so long as they didn't think he'd be so lenient now that they'd all push their luck and come in late, that was fine. He sat on the edge of the stage and watched everyone socialise, and felt very alone again, especially as he checked his phone and found nothing.[oh, the drama] He needed to stop thinking about that. But even so, even on a friendship basis, who did he really have? He felt like he knew everyone here, but that they were more acquaintances than friends.

Sebastian nudged her playfully. " Oh you'll get over it. You seem fine to me. " he told her rubbing tye top of her head mussing her hair with his hand. He took a sip from his coffee. He plucked the poptart from Bri's hand and took a bite before handing it back smirking a bit

Brielle playfully narrowed her eyes and shoved Sebastian before skipping onto the stage and warming up. She dropped into the splits, moaning a little as her muscles stretched. She probably should have stretched before bed last night, but there were other things on her mind. Bri closed her eyes and leaned forward, her nose touching her knee. She breathed deeply, letting the pain happen.

Caden got to his feet and called out across the theatre, "Alright, forget about warming up your bodies, start warming up you voices! We'll be doing some songs with me this morning, and then I'm going to hand you all over to Ellen later to do some more on your dance routines. It's just going to be a way of getting to know how you all sound for me, okay?" He also was humming quietly to himself. After all, if he was going to get them to sing, he would have to sing first, right?

Brookelyn stretched her arms above her head. She hopped of the counter and followed the others to the stage. "Cool, what are we going to be singing?" She asked. She slid into one of the seats in the front row infront of the stage. Brooke couldnt help but notice a certain odd expression on Caden's face today. "You okay? You seem kind of down this morning... lonely even..." She asked

"Oh, just a couple of things from a few different musicals." Caden was, at first, taken aback by Brookelyn's second question, having not realised that his sudden feeling of isolation was quite so obvious from his countenance. He nodded a bit and said to her, "I've been better, I'm not going to lie. But it'll pass, I'm sure... one way or another, at least." That being the easy way, or the hard way. But he did realise from the events in his life since last night his detachment from the rest of the group, caused by living in the shadow of his brother ever since he'd begun working here, but also in his striving to be constantly faithful and there whenever Maria wanted him to be around.

He shan't be lonely for looong :)

Brielle picked herself up and quietly headed over to the piano. She yawned, covering her mouth with a tanned hand, though she was starting to get paler than usual. Bri didn't feel so hot, and she leaned against the piano whilst waiting for further instructions. She raised an eyebrow at Brooke when she asked Caden about his personal life. If Brookelyn was one thing, she certainly was bold.

It appears not. Which is gooood :)

Caden got the girls to stand in a kind of semi circle surrounding the piano. At first, he just stood by it, talked about a few things with them, and he then got them to do some vocal warm ups with him. He went through their ranges with them, splitting them into sopranos and altos. "Alright, so I've picked a few obvious, boring pieces to try out, just because they have good harmonies and showcase your voices, okay?" he handed out a sheet with some lyrics on it and such. When he got to Brielle, he looked a little concerned, not least by the state of her unusually pale complexion, but he was too shy to ask if she was alright.

Veryy goooood :) Awh, shyness is so cute :) Hahaha

Brielle took the music and stood with the second sopranos. She ran a hand through her hair, looking over the lyrics. Brielle couldn't read music worth her life, and so she cocked her head as she tried to make out what the notes meant.

Bless him, after yesterday he's afraid to really talk to her :) But things will change

Caden taught them the chorus to start off with. Obviously, not all of them could read music, and even less of them could sing the notes straight from the page, and so he had to teach them the melody himself. To the sopranos, he said, "I'm going to sing a line, an octave lower than your pitch, and you sing it back to me, okay?" He sang out the first line for them and with a certain rhythm, pointed to them to repeat it to him. It was quite obvious from the control he had over his own vocals that singing played a major part in his musical ability.

Brielle sang, getting better as they got further into the song. She'd heard it before, so it wasn't completely unfamiliar, but still different than what she knew. Her feet twitched a little, and it was obvious to everyone that Brielle was ready to dance this song. She wondered what time they would switch to dance.
