Repeat Oyajitenshi?! & Unsure of deeds system

Hi all, my name is cait I am new to this forum :3 been playing tamagotchi since 2005 when I grew up with the og connection.

So I am running my first Angelgotchi (2024 reboot) and I keep getting Oyajitchi Angel aka Oyajitenshi. I am so confused abt this bc I always max out his hunger and effort meters. I also try 2 always max out the angel power/points any chance I get in every evolution stage...

I think part of my problem is that I don't clearly understand how to fill the Deeds meter. Unfortunately I am often running on mute because I work with people who have sound sensitivities. I also am unsure when to praise, obviously before it poops but sometimes it just DISAPPEARS off screen. Like I can't push any buttons and there is no way to know when the tama is coming back. Does that have anything to do with my lack of praising when it is needed? I am just sick of always getting oyatenshi!!! As cute as he is...could someone please help explain? Until I understand better, the angelgotch has very little replay value for me...currently it's sitting in my tamagotchi bait and tackle box w no batteries XD;;

hi cait when the screens blank on the rerelease its when it has gone for a walk and you can call it back by selecting the bell and tapping/shaking the device. it was a bit more obvious on the original ones which had a pic of a door rather than blank screen
the adult character you get is determined by the AP score as well as the number of care mistakes with 0-29 for oyajitchi and other characters if you get more heres a page on the wiki that has more info (rerelease chars section it further down)
