Jade watched as the man turned to leave. She turned back to see if Toby was following her. Looking forward, she saw that the man was gone. She came out of the brushes, then started to creep through the foggy clearing.

Suddenly, the man came out, aiming a gun for the young woman. But then he stared, realizing that it was just a girl. And even though it was obvious she wasn't human, he didn't shoot. He just stood there, gun pointed at her.

Any other time I would have let you slide. Its just... I mean, they are all the way in Siberia with a specialty scientist and a whole lot of special cases going on.

Anyways, imma add a character to your scene here.

A kid stumbled out in the bushes located behind him- though, he was not really a kid. He was a draft, all right, sixteen, maybe seventeen years old, with a boyish face and the build of your avarage highschooler (Or highschool dropout). He hadnt had his mandatory haircut for a while.

Through brown eyes he staired at her, and then, slowly, without looking at his companion, he said, "Ehh, ya, whatcha got there?"

In other news: planning for Florida is going well. I found my swimsuits, and other necessities.

The man lowered his gun, staring at Jade. He took a step back, as if trying to coax her to come forward.

Jade stared at the two strangers, almost like a cornered animal. Then, she moved around them and started running for it.

"Wait!" The man called in his baritone voice, following her. "C'mon!" He gestured to the young man, impatiently.

Willard felt awkward, tapping his fingers on the floor. He didn't like the silence, or the dark.

It was a long time before they came back down.

vinn was a fairly organized person. He didnt like a messy laboratory. Now, this could be an annoyance to any outsider, but the way these people, by the sounds of it, invaded his laboratory, compleately contradicting and disregarding his policys, would be infuriating to anyone.

 

They spoke in heavy accent, and he replied with vauge interest and compleate infuriation.

They spoke.

"Shes an adolecent."

they spoke.

"You were told wrong, it is an adolecent."

They spoke.

"Shes right here."

 

The cage on the other wall, Allysters cage, opened up, and she was pulled out. At first she snarled and yelled terribly, but the screams were cut short after a few moments.

 

 

The kid in the forest ran after his companion, stumbling slightly with confusion.

Willard started to cry as quietly as he could, burying his face in his hands. He just wanted to go home.

Jade suddenly stopped, looking around, almost dazed. Her eyes darted from side to side wildly as she tried to find an alternate route to get back to Toby.

But by the time she had found it, then man called, "Please! W-we mean you no harm!"

Jade stared at the two, not understanding a bit. She replied in a flurry of what sounded to be almost like the Navajo language, but one could never be sure.

"She doesn't understand!" The man groaned to his companion. Her drew his hand to his forehead, resting it above his brow.

Axie lay next to him. In all the commotion, she said, "Wullard."

The kid pulled to a stop, watching Jade form a distance. "She speaks a different language?" He asked, questioningly, cocking his head to the side. "I didnt expect that."

He was a little more then slightly clueless.

Willard looked over at her, smiling a little. He reached out, and took her hand. "Yes Axie?"

Jade walked over to the younger one, then gently put her hand on his forehead. She shut her eyes, trying to figure out what language he spoke. Then she opened her eyes and backed away.

The man asked, "What did you just do?"

"I was figuring out how to speak your language." She said clearly.

she looked up at him slowly, ever so slowly. "....upp up up."

The kid was dazed, a little red, and would be interested if not for the first two. He stayed silent, letting his conrad explain the situation

Willard picked her up, sitting her in his lap. "y-yes my dear?"

Jade said, "Well.. if you'll excuse me..." She went around them and started to walk away.

The guy turned and said, "What exactly are you?"

Jade turned and looked back at the two, a sad, slightly confused look on her face. "Honestly? I don't even know myself. I'm trying to figure it out, one day at a time." She was beautiful, and tragic, as are most people who have no idea what they are.

Toby trotted up to her, saying, "You left me alone, jerk face!" But he didn't seem too upset, in all actuality.

She let out some sort of hiss and laid her head on his shoulder, her hand slowly reaching up to her face. she sucked her thumb then, slowly, blank eyes fixed on his face.

Her physical apperence obviously had an affect on the way the dumbstruck boy was thinking.

Willard winced, at how... Baby like she was. "I love you."

The man said, "Where are your parents?"

Jade laughed, scornfully. "Parents? If we had parents, do you think I would be wandering in the woods taking care of my little brother?"

The man thought for a minute, then said, "No, I guess not. Well.... I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Adam."

Toby said, "My name is Toby." He beamed up at the two strangers.

Jade hesitated, then finally replied, "I'm Jade."

She was silent, but her hand gripped slightly tighter. She seemed to react better to him then to Vinn, and maybe anyone else.

"Jackson." He murmured. "Jackson."

Willard smiled gently, "I'll stay with you, my lovely." He nuzzled her nose.

Jade nodded at the two. "It's nice to meet you... I guess..." She shook hands with each of them, then held her younger brother's hand. "So... are you going to kill us now? You have us in an easy position. We're completely vulnerable. And, we aren't human. Therefore, we must be bad."

The man said, "Well... bad is just a term, a word... what humans mean is--"

"Not like you." She said cooly. "We're not like you, which means we can't be trusted, correct? Which means we must be evil."

she just sucked her thumb blankly, her breathing even. She looked childish, and disturbed- quite the opposite of peaceful.

Jackson said, simply, "Were a judgemental baised people. But I dont want to shoot you."
