How do you even get Lucky unchi-kun on the rerelease?

I know that you can get Lucky Unchi Kun on the rerelease, I've seen a photo of it. But I've always wondered how do you it. Is it like the old tamagotchi angel? Are there any new ways or any ways that don't work anymore? Has anyone here gotten lucky and gotten the Lucky Unchi-kun, and if so, how did you do it?
