If Obama is elected, my dad is gonna quit a few of his jobs (He has like 5, and one main job, all of them have stuff to do with computers. He programs stuff, writes reviews, tests computers, figures out things, Writes computer codes, and a bunch of other boring stuff) He and possibly other people are figuring, Hey, so my choices are: work hard for a lot of money then lose it to taxes, or: Work for medium amount of money and keep it all. And so the rich people will stop working. And that'll be just great.

John McCain was born in Panama - on a US Naval Air Station - so it counts as US territory.

Honestly guys... all you have to do is google some of this info and you can easily verify facts. Don't believe everything you hear about presidential candidates - find out for yourself.

I've even heard rumours that there are governors in the USA who believe Obama's a Muslim - for goodness sake

Last time I checked though, there was a separation of church and state in this country so would it matter? SHOULD it matter? Religion DOES matter in elections. Why? Because certain views and beliefs go more hand in had with certain religions. As a Christian I want someone who upholds the same values I have. One such issue in question is Israel. I believe Israel is our aly and we should help to protect them. A muslim generally will be more towards the flip side because the whole deal over in the Middle East is Jews vs Muslims, simply put. Likewise a Christian generally is on the Israeli side and protecting them.

And about the wife thing - did we impeach Bill Clinton when he had an affair during the presidency? No, he was almost impeached because he lied during court. It doesn't matter what you lie about during court - it could be that you didn't eat the last spoonful of peanut butter when you actually did - it's still illegal and punishable by law. Keep that in mind.

With the wolf thing, practice what you preach. I don't see any reputable sources for your statements on "shooting wolves from helicopters".

You get thrown in jail for asking an "inappropriate question" in Cbua - A man asks a simple IMPORTANT and REASONABLE question to the media's "Messiah" and his life is picked apart limb from limb. The news media went as far as to find his great-grandfather abused his great-grandmother. Is that not totally ridiculous or am I going crazy?? All they want to do is draw attention away from Obama's socialist outcoming by trying to squash a TRUE hardworking America.

Then we have Mr. Biden saying "Obama will be tested by the world in 6 months". Sorry but I don't want a president that will be "tested". What is he trying to say? That's we're going to have another major terroristic attack? A second 9-11? I just can't see why anyone in their right minds would say such a thing on their own side! That just seems like a blatantly obvious thing of what not to say.

I'd just like to start off by saying that it's been great talking to you. You have such a different viewpoint that it really keeps me on my toes! I'm not really great at making solid points and stuff but I think this topic alone is helping me to improve. I do get a bit emotional but I hope I'm making good conversation.

I can't find very much information on his church that isn't biased in some direction... why is it so hard to just find some facts? Ugh, but what I did find out is that it's a black church. Eh, so what? There are lots of those. There are lots of other churches that don't let certain kinds of people in based on dress or whatever. It's a private organization. There are lots of different kinds of Christians. Very few are tolerant of each other but in the end they all believe in Jesus, right? They still read very much of the same book?

I never said anything about lying in court, I did say that the people who need to go to court aren't going. That is totally against the law. At least Clinton went to court. Maybe if the democrats in power would have the balls to prosecute these people would just get arrested. Anybody else would. The law should apply to everyone in the same way. For some reason it isn't and it smells funny to me. Although you could be referring to that weird post about McCain and the four wives which just seems ridiculous. I didn't really follow where you were going with that though....

Our news media has been retarded for years... It never reports on what is important. It's always gossip and local whatnot. I don't even watch TV anymore I listen to talk radio and read the news paper... but even then it's hard to find something balanced and worth listening to. Uh, but Cuba is not part of the US last I checked...

Um, and this country has been surviving on socialist policies to help protect hard working Americans for many years. Remember the New Deal? Those policies were socialist. Socialist policies in our government are things like Social Security, Welfare and, Labor Unions. These things help when people are in need and keeps greedy people from harming the decent. In fact, wasn't it socialist policies that got us out of the great depression? True hardworking America needs socialism to protect it from immoral corporate America. That's what it's there for, that's why it's so integrated into our system. We wouldn't have stuff like public schooling if it wasn't for socialism.

I think what Biden was meaning that the tolerance of the American people will test Mr. Obama for the duration of the election (6 months). A lot of people spout intolerant things and they have. Even McCain is guilty of it. With that not shaking Obama's hand and calling him a terrorist... it's sick.

It's kinda like why religion is such a hot topic at elections. Most religious people are very intolerant of other religions. It's a policy built into them. A person can be moral without being a Christian just as a person can be amoral and go to church every Sunday (like those boy-raping priests). I see that there are beliefs that go along with religion but I've yet to see a Catholic give me unbiased reasons why Muslims are bad or Wicans are evil.

Our country is supposed to have a separation of church and state for a reason. Electing people based on religion is like denying the constitution. Denying people that are different from having their opinions.

... Israel is it's own country isn't it? We have our own problems, don't we? Our country is nearly dead from trying to police the world instead of trying to fix internal problems. People are losing homes and can't afford food. People can't live on their incomes anymore. People can't even go to the doctor when their sick! We are a mess! We can't just march into Israel and help out! We need to start fixing things here! When this country began we had a policy of not dealing with other nation's problems. I think we need to get back to this. If you want to go help Israel, go right ahead and go! Just don't drag the whole country down there with you. We're trying to bandage our wounds here already.

This election is gonna be tense. I can't wait to see what comes either.

Whilst I accept that Wikipedia is sometimes incorrect, I'll just offer this link to Barack Obama for you to have a look through.

Don't bother to even read the main body of the text if you are not interested in finding out more about a man you have misjudged.

But I do suggest that you take a quick look at the column of info under his photo - particularly the reference to his religion: Protestant Christian (United Church of Christ)

For anyone who doesn't consider his Protestant Christian Church a "true" Christian church I would direct you to this page about the United Church of Christ and once you have read the constitution ask you again if you really think that it is not a Christian church and that Obama is the kind of person who doesn't believe that Jesus Christ is his saviour and that Jesus Christ died for us all on the cross.

Once again. I have no favorite in this political campaign.

Just trying to help folks focus on finding out the truth and ignoring the lies.

Being entitled to a vote to elect a President who will run the USA for the next few years is a huge responsibility. Be clear about all the issues that would help you decide if that man will do a good job (not just for you/your family but for the country as a whole).
