He ran his fingers through her hair, slowly.

Elda smiled gently, "we must be happy in our old age."

"No." He shook his head. "We are happy in our old age. There is no must- none of this is forced. I hope you feel the same?"

"Well, I am very happy. Being with you, Gio, my family..." She whispered.

He smiled a bit, but then the door opened, and he let his eyes wander. And there it was that he saw a girl, short for a human, and she didnt smell like it, but most certainly a girl. Her skin pigmentation was also a little off.

"Is... Kyouri back yet?" Anja was out of breath.

Jeremy blinked, sitting upright. "...Who are you?" He was startled.
