Everett looked a little startled, and stroked her to calm her down. "Love, whats the matter?"

"Get Gio up." He murmured. "And then Sora has to get up with his wife, and those two weird kids... Nathaniel and Tettra, or whatever, they are already wake, just watching."

Isaac was standing in the middle of the room. "Everyone- We need to get situated for hunting. Or else we'll be the ones hunted. A big mountain lion, mutated and hungry, is looking for some meals out of us."

"How do you know!" Everett challeneged. "How could you prove it? I mean, even if it is huge, its still a cat. Unless it makes territory here, we probably have nothing to worry about."

"It was running this direction, and it wants food. You guys can get weeks worth of food off of it!"

"Im allergic to cats." Kyouri pointed out. "I wouldnt eat one if it meant starvation."

Kyouris faced was shadowed with fear for a second, but he turned away to hide it.

The... Cat, thing, whatever it was, seemed to have sat outside, laid down, because there was a slight tremor.
