Her cloak looked soaked with tears. Silent sobs wracked her own body, but her voice was surprisingly steady. And she seemed to brighten slightly.

"I dont see much of the future." She whispered. "But I see a pretty little girl. she is four. You look very happy when you hold her and play with her. I see no one else, but I see her. I dont know whos the mom is."

"I dont know." She said. "Just because I didnt see myself dosent mean I am not there. All I saw was you and the girl. There were other things, but I could not make them out clearly."

His eyes brightened up. "a little girl?" That part made him happy. "children again..." His voice trailed off as the thoughts of having a family again rushed through his mind.

Suddenly, those vapors started to shift and fade away, and Tettras bird was there again, obviously worn down from all the magic she used to keep herself cloaked for him.

Her feathers on the tips had darkened again. Three fell out.

She scratched the floor with her claws to get over to him, and hoppe dup on his lap.

Nathaniel smiled, and put her on his shoulder. He opened the door, lifting his hand up for Screech to go on.

She rubbed her head and neck up against him, and Screech fluttered in, dancing around their heads. He trusted them because of what they had done to help him, and because he sensed Tettra was so good, pure.
