Does Nathaniel have a backstory, or much of one?

Nathaniels story: He's the... Out cast of the family. He was never there when everyone was growing up, and so he is barely known. Willard even forgot that he existed, and when he and Sorrow first met, she slapped him. She thought he was some random creep trying to grope her. His only siblings are Sorrow and Elda. Nathaniel was never there because he ran away, due to conflict with both of his parents. He has a different mother than them, his mom a vampire. She was a wicked woman, and fed off of children. She was in glory during the Children's Crusade, and much deaths were caused by her alone. But she perished when Nathaniel was still young. Nathaniel himself has barely any personality, and doesn't share the same beauty that all the other Orzo's have. He's kind of simple looking compared to the others. Nathaniel is typically a loner, but he does love the company of a women. He has two wives, but it was arranged. He's never even made any attempt to touch them, for he doesn't love them. He's picky when it comes to love, and prefers a girl he thinks as interesting. He has a high sensitivity to pain, for his sense of feeling is much stronger than his others. He has hearing problems, like his dad.

Willard shook his head, "Can i have his blood?"

It made me sad. No dead Tettra though.

"....I was almost a head once." He said, but he changed the subject. "Hows your wife? the doors are open, you can come out now. Maybe even help me put away these rediculous protective walls."

He pulled open the door, and then the bars, and light spilled in on Axie and Willard. "Come on, then."

Nathaniel was waking up, rubbing his eyes. "Tettra?" He called out, looking around.

"She says 'up' and 'Wullard."

I dive in head first.

anyways, you admit your love to the 7th grader?

She was there. She was smiling.

And she was human, bare naked, those blue-purple eyes shining like gems. She was beautiful, and it was easy to forget the magnificence when you were not always with her. She was like a childhood fantasy, one in which you always saw most clear when you were told and retold the story, one which shone bright in your memory for many years. But after so many years, it lost its magic, and the beauty died. When your not always there with it, when you no longer believed, it faded away.

Would Tettra fade away?

She waited for him to speak.

He nodded. "Does she make any movements?"

neither him or Bryce were here today

His eyes grew big, and he suddenly seemed happy. He ran at her, holding her tight. "Tetta!" He cried into her.

"She makes small hand motions and lifts her arms. She sucks her thumb."

Ahh, okay.

But her forme faded, whispy like vapors. He would have fallen right through.

However, she reformed afterwards, looking over at him with a terrible sadness masked with a smile.

I have an illusive cloak on right now., her voice whispered into his mind. You cannot touch me now. And it will be lost later. I just wanted to speak with you in the forme you love me in most, the forme you can communicate with.

Her cloak was still smiling. But it was a very sad smile, a tragic smile, as if she was on the brink of tears just trying to accomplish it. Because something else was lurking on her mind.

Is it okay if I talk to you?

He leaned back in his rolley chair, which he had pulled over after the man left, and pondered this for a moment. "I think, maybe, she reacts to you because you strike a familiar chord in her. She probably recognizes you like a baby recognizes its mother, and because she feels safe around you, she reacts."

Nathaniel's happiness quickly went away, and he just stared at her. "Fine, talk to me love." He sat down, resting his face in his hands.

What I saw was very sad.

Her voice had reclaimed that rushed, run together, but oddly clear quality. The one she spoke with first, when she was very scared and emotional.

Her voice had lowered in his head, no longer a whisper, but something… more. Something beautiful, but hardly more audible then the wind. Something tragic. She was very distressed in some ways, maybe saddened by what she saw in him.

You’ve been through a lot as well.

And when you were young,

like me and you are in love.

And you were going to be a family.

Like me and my brother.

But when she was with child,

pregnant? Yha?

she got very sick

and you couldn’t save her.

And you were not happy anymore.

That is what I saw when you were young.
