Alone in Darkness

January smiled at Eon and whispered,"I love you..."

Eon blushed softly. Smiling slightly, he held her close. "I love you too."

January wrapped her arms around Eon and gave him a light kiss. "I didn't know you were so good at stealing things...." she whispered into his ear.

 

[YellowJedi]

E"What I steal?" Eon asked, a little confused.

 

[nokotchi]

January smiled, "My heart..." she told him.

 

[YellowJedi]

Eon gave her a smile, just holding January closely. He never wanted this moment to end.

January closed her eyes, all of her bad memories here were replaced with this one amazing one. She wanted to live in this moment forever.

The sun was beginning to set, and Eon looked up. He then realized tonight would be a full moon. Not saying anything to January, he closed his eyes, trying to do what he had did a few nights earlier.

January was beginning to feel a bit odd. Her thoughts were clashing together and they were beginning to mix. Her heart began to pound when she realized it was the full moon. She knew that by now, Eon wouldn't have enough time to change the moon like he did before since the sun was already at the horizon. She jumped up. "Eon! Go!!"

Eon shook his head. "No, I'm staying with you. I'm not going to leave you alone all night."

 

[nokotchi]

January shook her head when she saw the sun was beginning to slip lower. "Now!" she shouted. "I don't want to hurt you! You don't have much time.."

 

[YellowJedi]

Eon knew it was stupid, but he stayed where he was. He didn't want to leave January no matter what, even if he was risking his life to stay.

 

[nokotchi]

January fell onto her knees when the sun disappeared."Eon....... please...." She doubled over and her body began to morph into that of a large wolf.

 

[YellowJedi]

Eon looked at January, slowly getting up. He didn't move yet, he waited to see what she would do.

January was fully transformed now. She threw her head back and let out a long howl. She met eyes with Eon and snarled, challenging him to run. Her mind was going insane, she began to forget everything. How she knew Eon, how she loved him. When she was a wolf, all of that disappeared.

 

[YellowJedi]

"January, it's me; it's Eon." Eon said calmly, trying to somehow get January in control.

 

[nokotchi]

January bared her teeth and took a few steps toward Eon. She scraped her claws against the ground and again challenged him to run. When she took another step toward Eon, her eyes flashed in recognition. She backed away with a look of pure horror in her eyes. A second later, that horror was replaced with a look of hostility. It was as though January was fighting herself to remember, but failing.

"Come on January, you have to remember..." Eon said, still not backing away.

January began to lose control over herself and she was trying to fight against it. Deep inside she knew she shouldn't hurt Eon, but her remembrance was quickly fading by the second.

Eon was scared, all though he didn't show it. "January, please just calm down and think."
