January cracked a small smile. "I love you too Eon...." she said softly. "I was worried for awhile that you would stop loving me... That I would lose you."
"You mean so much to me too... That's why I was so worried..." January said, approaching her house. She unlocked the door and opened it. She heard her parents arguing about something in her kitchen. "Try to ignore my parents...." she mumbled.
January walked into the bathroom, taking a first aid kit out of her cabinet and setting it on the sink. She took a washcloth and wet it a bit. She walked to Eon and gently began cleaning his cuts.
January finished cleaning his cuts and opened the first aid kit. She took out some bandages and handed them to Eon. "Here, you can put them on as you like. I don't want to make them too tight or loose." she told him.
January pulled down the collar of her shirt and began cleaning where the spike had been. She slipped up and restarted the bleeding. Hissing in pain, she held the washcloth to her chest and sighed.
January thought about it for a moment. She slipped the chain that the spike was on from around her neck and held it up. "I'll get rid of it if you promise me that you'll run when I tell you to so that I won't hurt you."
