Alone in Darkness

January smiled. "I'm finally getting the hang of this," she said happily, "This is really fun."

Eon nodded. "Yeah, it is."

January thought for a moment. "Hang on, I'm gonna try something." she released Eon's hand and sped forward. She knew this was a really stupid thing to do, but she wanted to try it. Before she could think twice about it, she launched herself up into the air and twirled a bit. As she came down, she messed up the landing and ended up on her butt. "That didn't go very well.." she said with a light laugh.

Eon started to laugh, and helped her up. "Well you're doing really good, so don't worry about it."

"Yeah." January sighed. "You know, I've really come to enjoy skating. Thanks for bringing me here." she said with a smile.

"Oh, no problem. I love hanging out with you." Eon told January.

 

[nokotchi]

"I love hanging out with you too." January said. She then thought of something, "For some reason, ice cream sounds really good right now.."

Eon have her a grin, and they skated off to the side. He took his skates off and gave them back. "Then let's have ice cream."

January also took her skates off and handed them back. "Alright, let's go!" she said cheerily.

Eon held January's hand and walked outside, walking to an ice cream place not far away.

January walked with Eon, gently swinging their hands back and forth. "So, what's your favorite flavor of ice cream?" she asked.

"Chocolate. What's your's?" Eon asked, as he opened the door to the ice cream place for January.

 

[nokotchi]

"Hm.... I'd have to say vanilla, plain and simple." January answered with a smile. She took out her money and walked up to the counter. " One vanilla cone and a.. Chocolate?" she said, looking back at Eon for confirmation.

Eon nodded, and took out his money. "I'll pay, don't worry."

 

[nokotchi]

"No, you paid for the skating admission, I'll pay for the ice cream." January told him, giving her money to the cashier.

 

[YellowJedi]

Eon sighed. "You sure?" he asked, grabbing their ice creams and sitting down at a table.

 

[nokotchi]

January nodded, "I'm positive." She sat down at the table with Eon.

"Well, if you're sure..." Eon took a spoon and took a bite of his ice cream. "Wow, this is good."

 

[nokotchi]

January licked her ice cream. "Yeah, it is." she said with a smile.

 

[YellowJedi]

Eon grinned at her before taking another bite. "Ugh, back to school tomorrow."
