Oh, yeah, so I don't know if you know Mystic, but I'll tell you just in case, Mei wants to organise a double date, so her and Eli, and then Brielle and Caden, although Bri and Caden don't know they'll be going on a date with each other (;

Caden called Maria again, who did pick up this time, and while he tried to make easy conversation with her at first, her obvious dislocation from the call, which he managed to actually notice this time, got on his nerves. "Are you alright? You seem distracted," he asked her. "And, I mean that as in all the time lately."

"Yeah... I'm sorry, I've just been so busy lately, darling, you know how it is," Maria replied on the other end.

"I know you are, but you're not the only one. And I haven't seen you in weeks. You're only on the other side of town. Why won't you come and see me anymore? Or why can't I come and visit you?" There was silence on the other side for quite some time. "We've been together five years Maria, and I know this isn't like you, and, frankly, it's worrying me. You know you can tell me anything, and if there's anything you need to tell me, or if this isn't going to work, we need to figure this out."

They talked- or, rather argued- on the phone for quite some time. They arranged to talk it over in person later, and, by the way Maria had sounded on the phone, Caden had a sense of foreboding about what she'd have to say to him. Five years, and this was what it was coming to.

Awh, poor Caden ): Bri will put her bandaid on his heart! <3

Bri raised an eyebrow. "Uhm, okay, I guess." She was a little aprehensive about giving Meimei this kind of rein, but naything would be better than being alone with Jeremy. Anything.

And Caden will protect hers from Jeremy in return <3

Caden met Maria after she'd finished work. She'd made it quite clear to him that it was not a discussion to which they would be having over dinner or even a drink. They met outside the orchestra hall and, in spite of how upset he was at her for being so distant lately, when he saw her he realised how much it hurt to be this way when he loved her so much. Considering how she'd been on the phone, she was surprisingly gracious - well, as much as she could be considering what she was about to tell him- saying, "I also believed once we were always going to be how we were. We were perfect for each other. And you're still perfect, but too perfect for me now, because I've gone and tainted this relationship, and while I wish I could say it wouldn't happen again, I've changed, and I'm afraid of commitment. The other night when you called... I was with another man, as I have been, a few other times."

Caden should, and had dared to, have guessed that this was what had been going on, but that didn't make hearing it from her any easier. They talked for quite some time, establishing things could never be how they were again, and how it had to end. He told her exactly how he felt about it, that was for sure, and while, at the time, he was equally as civil as she'd been, when they parted ways and he got home, he was in a real state.

Hey guys! I'm going to be in Florida this week, so that's why I won't be on

Yeah I probably won't be on too much. Grounded D:

But awww poor Caden <3 what a biitch

"Let's go clubbing. I want to dance." Bri said, standing up, putting on a fake smile, and skipping towards the bathroom. She started brushing her hair, examining herself in the mirror. Did she really want to dance? Or did she just need to get her mind off of these boy issues?

Mei watched her friend with a look of suspicion. "I don't think it's quite a good idea to go out dancing right after you've puked. You're probably really dehydrated right now. Come on, sit down, and we can watch a cheesy teen movie and laugh about how terrible it is. I know you need a distraction from all the drama, but risking your health isn't a good idea." She got up and went to pop some popcorn in the microwave. "Do you want anything on this or not?"

Bri came out of the bathroom. "I don't care! I can handle it, okay? I'm fine. I don't want to watch some stupid movie!" She yelled. She stormed back into the bathroom. She realized what she had just said and came back out, sighing before saying, "Yeah, yeah, I know you're right. Some dumb movie it is. And just salt on the popcorn, please." She flopped onto the couch, stretching her legs so they were on top of the coffee table.

Meimei blinked a couple of times, somewhat surprised by Bri's harsh reaction. A look of surprise remained on her face, even as she went back to watch the popcorn and make sure it didn't burn. She decided not to speak of the boy situation any more, feeling it wouldn't be in her friend's benefit. "So, I found an absolutely amazing vintage boutique the other day. I swear, I fell in love the instant I walked in. You'll die when you get a chance to shop there."

"Can we go shopping there now?" Bri whined. She loved shopping. Especially when it involved her and Mei. Bri liked to try on everything in the store. "Pleaaaaaaseeee?" She begged, on her hands and knees in front of Meimei. "I need someone who knows me to help me pick out an outift for that dateeee. And I can help you get yourrsss!" Bri sang, smiling up at Mei.

Because I have the uncontrollable urge to write something, no matter how small it is... Gahh, I hate the rain. It makes me this way.

Caden drank himself silly when he got home. It started off with one beer, before the Jack Daniels came out, and he'd polished off the bottle before the eleventh hour. He was going to pay for it in the morning, but he wasn't capable of thinking that far ahead, even when he'd been sober just less than an hour before. He should have known better than to think it would make him feel better. Alcohol only heightens the mood you were in when you started drinking, and so by the time he'd crawled into bed at goodness-knows-what hour, he was a melancholy mess.

Mei thought and said, "Wellllll.... Okay, that sounds like fun! Go fix yourself up before we go, okay? I mean, you know, you don't need to go out looking all sick. So change clothes and stuff! I'm going to make sure I have money." She went and called the bank, checking the amount that was in her account. It wasn't much, barely enough to get by. But sometimes it was nice to treat yourself, but not too extravagantly.

Bri pulled on some skinny jeans and brushed her hair, fixed her make up and pulled on a tank with a fitted leather jacket over it. Even though she hated wearing anything but dance wear, she had plenty of things to wear. Brielle strode out of her room, picking up her wallet and phone, shoving them into her oversized Lucky bag. "Let's go. I wanna get my shop on." she said, grinning. "And I'm paying for whatever you want." Mommy and Daddy still gave Brielle as much money as she needed, so her bank account was always full.

I feel like I should write something even though none of my characters are really doing all too much right now and therefore don't really have anything to contribute.

Brookelyn entered her apartment using her small blue key. She headed straight to her bedroom after closing the door and locking the little chain. She changed into a pair of plaid pajama pants and a simple tanktop and then sprawled out onto the couch. She picked up the remote and flipped through the channels settling on some cheesy romantic comedy. She headed into her little eat in kitchen and despite her temptations place the popcorn back into the cupboard and instead took out a bowl and mixed in some assorted berries. She then grabbed a yogurt cup and a spoon and settled back down in front of her television.

Eli watched in a state of somewhat awe as Mei flagged a cab outside his window. He shook his head in disbelief, this sort of thing only happened in movies. He took a shower and threw on a pair of sweats and flopped back onto his bed. He lay on his back and stared up at the ceiling. When his phone rang loudly through his apartment it startle him a bit. Reluctanly he rolled off the bed and clumsily snagged the phone up off of his dresser and answered it with a displeasing greeting.

I have the urge to skip to the day of the show and the date, but I won't.

Mei readied herself, and then nodded and flashed a thumbs up when Bri came out all tidied up. "Awesome possum! Now, let's go shopping!" At the mention of getting anything she wanted, her eyes lit up. "Okay then! Your mom and dad will be in for a surprise. I adore shopping therapy. Plus, I need something sassy to wear in front of Eli. I adore that boy." She giggled and pulled Bri outside, grinning. "I'm so glad we can do stuff like this!"

By popular demand, my post to last you guys a week...... (;

The show date.

Caden had just come into the girls' dressing room - having been informed that they were all ready to go, of course. Lately, things had not been wonderful in his life, but this was the one thing he'd enjoyed getting up for in the mornings, and the opening night of the new age of the Follies was something he'd been looking forward to for a long time. His girls had worked so hard, and everything had come together in the last few sessions so well that he couldn't not be excited for the public to see it. It was buzzing in the theatre, almost every seat full; there had been much attention following the changing of direction for the girls, and it had stirred up a great crowd consisting of a wider range of audience members. Of course, there were the usual men who came for their fix by watching the girls, but there appeared a greater air of sophistication on average than usual, which was excellent news, really. Caden was dressed for the occasion, in a dark black suit and tie, and he was beaming as he stepped into the room to give a pre-show pep talk sort of thing.

"Alright girls, this is it," he said excitedly. "Now, I don't have a whole lot to say to you, because I know you're all going to be just fantastic out there. Nerves are good in small doses so just keep it real, and keep smiling and just enjoy yourselves and break a leg! And, remember what I said about what I want. Musicality. Passion. Emotion. Sex! Go get 'em!" This signalled them to get to their places at the side of the stage, ready to come on as soon as the lights went down to just the spotlights on the stage. He watched proudly as they flooded out of the dressing room, and made his way to where he'd set up a decent sized band of come sorts- not quite an orchestra but almost-, in a pit beside the stage. He would be directing them and watching what was going on stage from there. All went quiet. The show was about to begin.

Meimei had gotten ready in a flash, and was still doing her makeup when Caden had come in to give them a pep talk. She powdered her cleavage while he spoke, staring at him with full attention. When he finished talking, she gave a cheer, then kept working on her hair and makeup. She snuck out of the room to meet Eli backstage, wanting him to see her in her costume, that was like the other girls. Her solo performance would be amazing, though. She was singing a traditional Japanese song, and would be dressed like a geisha, with an ornamental kimono and everything. She peered around, then whispered, "Eli, you here?"

Most of the preparations had already been completed and double and even often triple checked over again. However Eli was still busy flitting around backstage, everyone who could was darting around making sure that everything was set up properly and that nothing was forgotten. He was making a mental checklist of the things he needed to check on to ensure this night went off with out a hitch. music, check. Sound system,check. Curtains, check. Stage lights and programs, check check. He wanted to relax because he knew that everything was done and ready, but the other half of him wanted to go over everything once more he could breath easily again. Instead of doin that he decided to busy himself by sorting through a list of papers, ideas and notes of things or future shows and the lists of the people who had booked out time slots for their 'private showings.' almost all had something scribble beside the time, date and the name. Eli read over it, 'blonde', 'busty' 'tall' and other descriptive and even demining terms along witha few specified names of girls. He made a sound that was somewhere around a disgusted grumble at the list.

Meimei crept up behind Eli and wrapped her arms around him. "So, baby, what's the list say about me?" She giggled, then went and sat on his lap. "You're nervous. Don't worry. You've done this before, and you've always done a great job. Besides, it might be nice if the show screwed up. Then us girls wouldn't have to do any of the extra crap the men demand." She kissed him gently and grinned at him. "I'm glad that we get to go out tonight, instead of me having to do an after show. I like it much better this way." She cuddled close to him and sighed softly.
