Bri raised an eyebrow. So Mei had noticed the tension, too. "There's no tension..." Brielle said lightly, "I have absolutely no idea what your talking about..." She got a water for both herself and Meimei and wlaked back into the living room. She handed one of the cups to her friend and took a sip of her own. "Mei, I really don't want to look into this deeper than what's there. So yes, we had a moment. One moment. I've had plenty of moments in my life, and you know what? None of them meant the guy was my soulmate. Okay?"

Caden was in his apartment, as per usual, having just pumped some iron and was about to get some late dinner. He looked at his phone. No texts. No missed calls. No voicemails. Lovely. He was going through his phonebook, to get Maria's number up- she'd gotten a new phone recently, of course, otherwise he'd remember it- when he passed Bri's number, and remembered how unwell she looked earlier. Text or call? Call, it was more business-like. He pressed the green button and several times while it was ringing contemplated putting it down. But that was silly, he was only asking her if she was alright. Nothing more.

Brielle looked at the Caller ID, her eyes widening as she pushed the 'answer' button. "Hello?" she said, walking back into the kitchen. Meimei did not need to hear who was on the other end.

./asdfjo; meh. I fail... Haha

Mei jumped when the phone began to ring. "Bri-bear, you've got a phone call," she said cheerfully, before looking at the number. It was... Caden. "It's Caden!" She squealed, fanning herself with her hands. "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Answer it! Answer it!"

Bri just rolled her eyes at Mei, acting like it was no big deal that her boss was randomly calling on a Tuesday night. Bri hopped onto the counter, shooing Meimei to stay in the other room.

"Hey, Brielle, it's Caden," Caden said, having paused when she actually answered, still thinking it was a bad idea. "I was... I was just calling to see how you were feeling and all, because I know you were off earlier, and I was hoping you were feeling a bit better. That's all, I guess, I was just kind of worried." Wow, nice one, great conversation.

Mei huffed and sat down on the couch, covering her mouth with her hand so she wouldn't say anything stupid. This was more than a coincidence. Something would happen between the two soon, she just knew it. But she would have to wait, because both of them were way too stubborn to admit it.

Brielle was quite surprised that Caden had called to ask if she was okay. If Bri had ever left rehearsal due to a panic attack while Joseph was the director, she'd get chewed out to the point that Bri had to breathe into a paper bag. "Uhm, oh. Yeah, I'm feeling a little better. Just uhm, panicked a little about some things..." Bri said into the phone, automatically feeling stupid. Did he just say he was worried? What? Brielle was really confused and gave Meimei a look that said, 'What-the-h`ll-am-I-supposed-to-say?' She ran a hand through her hair and cursed herself as she said with a nervous cheerfullness, "Well, uh, thanks for calling!" She hung up the phone, dropping it onto the counter beside her. "I'm going to throw up..." Bri said, running into the bathroom and doing just that.

"Okay, that's.. Good, I guess. Listen, if you don't feel alright for work, don't worry about it, okay," Caden managed to say, before she said a hasty goodbye, so hasty that it caught him off guard. He stared at his phone for a minute, before setting it down on the table. He didn't really know what he was trying to achieve. He told himself that it was because he really did just want to know if she was alright, which was true, to an extent, but he couldn't help but think that in his subconscious there was an ulterior motive. He called Maria, who didn't answer her phone, which made him feel even worse.

Brielle staggered out of the bathroom. "He was worried." she told Meimei, sitting delicately on the couch. "OhmygoshI'msostupidIsoundedsostupidMeimeiIdon'tknowwhattosayHe'scuteandstuffandhewantedtoknowifIwasokay..." She rambled, her head in her pillow.

Mei patted her back gently. "Calm down, Bri-bear. Relax. Now, he called and said he was worried! That's good! In fact, that's awesome! Next time you two talk, you need to thank him again for worrying about you, tell him how you appreciated it. Also, make sure you look really cute and stuff. Smile at him."

Haha, they're the cutest pair of Bff's everr. :)

Bri sat up. "Why am I worried? Like I said before, there's nothing going on. Still nothing going on." She took another sip of her drink, looking at her phone from across the room. She stood, walking over to it as if she was in a minefield. She picked it up and looked at it. "I shouldn't call him back, right? That makes me look even stupider." At first she was genuinely asking Meimei, but then she answered her own quesiton, setting the phone on the couch next to her.

I totally agree!!!

Mei took the phone and put it down the front of her shirt. "Don't call him back! It's too soon for that! It's better to try and address him in person! That way, you'll show you're okay, as well as be able to tell him. And yes, there is something going on. If there weren't, you wouldn't get to the point of throwing up. Plus, you get all flustered and stuff when you mention him!"

"NO! Nothing! I hadn't thrown up since I got home and just needed to do it." Brielle said, attempting to convince herself more than convincing Meimei. Her phone buzzed in Mei's shirt. Bri raised an eyebrow. She rolled her eyes and reached down Mei's shirt, pulling the phone out herself. She dropped the phone like it was a live virus once she saw the caller. "Answer it!" Bri screamed at Mei, backing away. The name read, 'Jeremy', and Brielle was not about to pick it up.

Mei answered the phone and did her best Brooklyn accent. She was not about to let Jeremy harass her best friend, and make her more upset. "Hello? This is Maude speaking. Can I ask who you're looking for?" She then made an awkward gum chewing sound, which was really obnoxious.

Bahahahaa that sounds just like something my best friend would do. 'Cept mah best friend's a boyyy :)

"Uhm, is Brielle there? I know this is her phone, so I'd really appreciate it if I could talk to her." Jeremy told 'Maude'.

Bri covered her mouth, holding in giggles. She loved when Meimei did different accents. Especially this one. It was crazy how impeccable the dialects she created wrere.

XD That's absolutely amazing!!!!

"She ain't available right now. this is Jeremy, right? You know, the one who was all lovey dovey and then got all flakey? Wow, you sound like a great friend. But yeah, she can't come to the phone. I'm doing her nails. But I don't think she wants you to call again, you know?" She made louder smacking noises, then took a candy wrapper and started crinkling it near the receiver. "Hellooo? Yoo hoo? I can't hea' you!"

Yeahh pretty much :)

Jeremy just hung up the phone, frustrated that Bri wouldn't take the phone.

Bri laughed loudly once the phone call was over. "What are we gonna do once he's here? And trying to talk to me in person?" she asked, rocking back and forth.

We had our first music practice for Rocky. SO AMAZING! Our Time Warp already sounds phenomenal!

Mei put the phone on the coffee table and said, "Well... I have an idea! I have this really nice guy friend from my dance studio, maybe you'd like to go on a double date after the show with me and Eli. I promise, he's a nice guy, and it'll distract you from Caden. Instead of staying for meet and greet after the show, we'll book it and meet up at the bistro down the street, just west from here."

O: Well, isn't she just sneaky,

LOVE THAT SONG, nuff said.

Since Sebastian had taken Brielle home earlier that day he almost forgot that he didn't have to wat for her because no matter how long he waited she wouldnt show up to be taken home. After he finally came to this realization he made sure the studio was empty and he slipped all of his paper into his little briefcase messanger bag thing that he brought with him and grabbed his heys and jacket. He flicked off all of the lights and such, set the alarm and locked the door behind him. He got nto his car and drove the roughly ten minute drive to his condo.
