Morgan nodded. She twirled a small lock of her hair and blinked back tears. "I'm going back outside..." she mumbed as she pulled her coat back on. Morgan walked quickly to the back entrance once again. Once outside, Morgan leaned against the wall and sat in the snow.

Asher quickly pulled on his coat and came after her, struggling to spot her at first, but when he did he made his way over and crouched beside her. "I'm sorry if maybe I shouldn't have asked you.. I wasn't expecting anything quite like that.." he said softly, pursing his lips and looking guilty.

"It's not your fault..." Morgan said, looking away. All of this attention and compassion was new to her. The only people that ever cared about Morgan were Kyle and Cody. And all those boys who had said they did but lied. But Morgan could tell that Asher honestly cared about her, even though they had just met today.

Asher hesitated before reaching an arm out to wipe away a few tears from her face-- from the side he could still see, anyway. "Well, in any case, I'm sorry that a really, really great girl like you had to go through something like that. You don't deserve it at all. I mean, just today, I've actually felt like I have someone I can talk to when I was with you. Noone else has ever thought twice about me being on my own before.."

Morgan gave Asher a small smile. "I'm just not used to anyone giving two s**ts about what I have to say...." Morgan explained, "Yeah, I know what you mean about not having anyone to talk to... you know more about my life in a day then any of my other friends have known in a lifetime."

"And the same for me. I've never had any friends to tell. And my parents still don't know what happened at my aunt's. I made my sister promise not to tell them," Asher replied. He let himself fall back from his crouched position, sitting instead, his landing cushioned by the snow.

"Occasionally. But I've come to the conclusion that my not being here probably wouldn't make much difference to anyone else's life, since I have no friends, few family, even less that I actually see or get on with. So I don't think about it too much," Asher replied.

The snow stuck out like a sore thumb as it settled on Asher's jet black hair. He said, "You're getting covered, do you just want to sit or.. Whatever?" It wasn't a hint at anything, just a genuine, honest question.

Asher shook the flakes of snow from his hair, and pulled himself up as he took her hand. He looked at his watch and asked, "So do you know when we can go, so we can.. Well, do everything you've been ordered to do, I suppose?"

"Well, I think we should wait until after our detention is over. We almost got into too much trouble for my liking." Morgan said. "What time is it now?" She pulled her hair into a loose ponytail and rubbed her hands together.

I haven't been on this topic since I made the form for Lisa. Oh well.

Lisa sat around doing nothing. She was bored. And angry. How could she get the wrong answer? She's always right. And she had every right to lash out. Well, that's just Lisa's point of view.

Lisa's phone beeped. She checked it and saw Samuel's text. She texted him back. Apparently I got an answer wrong in Math. I couldn't believe it, I never get anything wrong I make sure of it. I kind of lashed out at the teacher. What about you? Thought I'd never see you here.

ooc: Call him Sam ;)

Sam read the text and replied, Let's just say things got a little...messy on the basketball court. He hit the send button and drummed his fingers on the table. Sam's blue eyes wandered around the room, looking for familiar faces.

"I just wasn't sure what time detention finishes at. It's ten past three," Asher replied, starting to lead her back inside. Regardless of when they had to go, their bags were still in the classroom.

"Oh," Morgan said, "This was the fastest detention ever." She grabbed her bag and threw it over her shoulder. "So, are you just going to follow me with your car, or are you riding with me?"

Sam stood up and walked over to Lisa. "You want to go get some hot chocolate or something?" he asked with a crooked smile.
