"Sure. Just don't judge the piece of shxt I call my car." She said, starting for the door. She lead him to an old blue sedan. Morgan dug around her bag for the keys. "Dxmnit..." she said. Once she finally found them, she unlocked the door.

"Okay, so as if I would judge you by that.." Asher said. His car was alright. Newer than hers, but on the flip side, he barely got to use it, really. He got in the passenger's side once she'd unlocked it for him. "Honestly, I think old cars are more comfortable, anyway."

Be right back, I'm about to get some strawberries :)

Morgan raised an eyebrow as she started the car. "Yeah, they're real comfortable when the air conditioning doesn't work. Neither does the radio. And the heat only works when it feels like it." She chuckled a bit, and looked over her shoulder as she backed out.

Yummy :)

Indeed. Strawberries and cream. Makes it feel like summer and Wimbledon. Of which it is neither here right now xD

"Well, have you tried getting it fixed? I could take a look at it sometime and see if I can get some of it working.." Asher replied. He turned his attention to the viw from the window, which was pretty much just snow covered buildings.

oh yummmm :) In a little bit I'm making cupcakes :)

Morgan smiled at the offer. "I really haven't had the time or money to get it fixed, but if you want to look at it, you can." she said. "Your parents aren't going to care that you're coming over, are they?"

O: I just realised I forgot to make cupcakes for my friend now.

Sounds like a plan. I might just join in with this cupcake making fest :)

"Well, you don't have to give me anything for it, so, next time you're free, I'll check it out for you," Asher said, also glad to see she was smiling again at last. "No, I don't think they'll mind at all. I told them I'd be back whenever because I didn't know what time detention would finish. I can text them later if they get worried anyway."

We will indeed have a cupcake making fest :)

Morgan pulled into the driveway of Kroger's. Once she found a parking spot, she reached into the back and found her purse. "Okay, so I was thinking spaghetti? Is that okay with you?" she asked Asher, throwing her keys into the bag.

Oh, wait. She's going to Cornwall. Maybe not xD -failure-

"Oh, you mean about dinner? I didn't realise. I can get dinner back at home, if it's too much trouble," Asher told her. Just to speed up conversation, he added, "But, if it's alright, spaghetti is good with me."

xD Haha, I already made my cupcakes :)

"Oh, no, I insist that you stay for dinner." Morgan said. Her eyes were sort of pleading him to. Honestly, she couldn't stand being alone with her father and his girlfriend. And maybe if Asher was there, her dad would be better behaved.

I'll have to make them next week instead :)

"Well, okay. Seeing as you're okay with it, I'd love to," Asher smiled reassuringly at her, nodding. "And, like I said, spaghetti is great, so no worries."

Morgan smiled back. It was weird for her, feeling like she actually had someone to talk to. "It's a good thing you like spaghetti, because it's fast, easy, and cheap." She walked through the doors of the store and grabbed a basket.

"So I guess you don't have much time to cook for fun or relaxation, then?" Asher asked her. He'd been cooking his own meals daily since he was about eleven, and he'd grown to enjoy it over time, experimenting with different combinations.

"Not with school, work, and Cody." Morgan said. After looking at a couple of jars of sauce, she threw one into the basket and kept walking. "I wish I could cook more, but it's just not possible."

Asher said, "You, Morgan, are amazing. I can see why you want to get away from it all when you've got school, work, Cody, your dad, your dad's girlfriend, cooking and cleaning and God knows what else to deal with.. But for now you're just juggling it all for everyone else's benefit."

Morgan blushed a bit but said, "I'm really not that amazing, Asher. I scrape by in school, I'm not really good with the rich and snooty, so I suck at my job, I let people in my life walk all over me because I think it'll make them like me, half the time my meals are repeated more than once in a week, because I can't cook much, our house is a mess except for the kitchen and the living room. People hate me because I'm a ****. Asher, you're the one who's amazing."

"How am I amazing at all? I hide away from everything and everyone[/j]. So I struggled through a rough part of my life, but yours was much harder and now, so long as I have my sister, I have very little to worry about except for spending my life alone," Asher replied. "And you don't come across as a **** to me at all. I mean, not that I blame you, but you haven't even said anything suggestive around me."

"You see, that's the problem. I really don't make suggestive comments to people, but they think I'm slutty..." she wasn't really telling the complete truth, but it wasn't a complete lie either. "Asher, you're amazing because you're the first person that ever fully listened to me, and genuinely cared about my feelings. Do you realize how much that means to me?"

"Well, yeah, I probably do know how much it means, since you've been the first person to do the same for me. And I can't describe how much that does mean to me, because it's that amazing," Asher said, smiling.
