Morgan opened her mouth to speak, but words failed her. "Well then..." she continued down an aisle. She checked the clock on her phone as she grabbed a box of spaghetti noodles. "Shxt..." she mumbled. It was already three-thiry. She had to pick Cody up in half an hour. "Okay, we don't have much time," Morgan said to Asher, "so we're going to need to speed up the process."

"Oh," Morgan said, "This was the fastest detention ever." She grabbed her bag and threw it over her shoulder. "So, are you just going to follow me with your car, or are you riding with me?"
Sam stood up and walked over to Lisa. "You want to go get some hot chocolate or something?" he asked with a crooked smile.
Lisa heard someone ask ker out. She looked up and saw Sam. "Sure" she replied.

"That would be great. If you get the garlic bread, I'll get milk, and you can meet me at the cash register..." Morgan called over her shoulder, already rushing to the dairy aisle. She grabbed a gallon of milk and some parmesan cheese. On her way to the register, she stopped in the feminine aisle. Morgan picked up one of the pregnancy tests and placed it in the basket, covering it with everything else in the basket. She took a deep breath and walked to the front of the store to meet Asher.

Asher dashed to get some garlic bread, which happened to be on the other side of the supermarket. He met Morgan back at the register and placed it in the basket. Of course, he couldn't see, so he didn't notice anything else in the basket beneath the milk and spaghetti.

"Uhm.. Will you start the car?" Morgan asked. She set the basket on the conveyor belt and stalled so she wouldn't have to unload the basket in front of Asher. He really didn't need to know about the test.

Asher stared at her keys a moment, a little confused by her question at first. But then the idea came to him that she might need him to, anyway, because it was so beaten up, so he smiled and went out to do as she'd asked him.

Sam adjusted his backpack and said, "Okay, good." He took her hand ans lead her to his car.
Lisa got into the passenger side of the car. What do I say? she thought. Eventually, she said "Um... nice car"

Morgan started placing her items on the conyeyor belt. The cashier scanned the items. Once she got to the pregnancy tests, she looked at Morgan with a raised eyebrow. Morgan bit her lip and looked down. The lady bagged everything and told Morgan, "That'll be twenty dollars and forty-three cents." Morgan gave her the money, grabbed the bags, and walked outside, looking for Asher and her car.

Sam chuckled a bit and said, "Thanks." He got in the driver's side and started the car.

Asher pulled the car up outside the entrance to the supermarket so that Morgan didn't have to walk too far. He'd only just gotten there since the car had taken a while to start. He left the engine running and hopped out, so Morgan could drive, as he figured she'd probably want to.

"Thanks..." Morgan said with a smile. She reached into the car so she could pop the trunk. Then, she walked around the car again and put the bags inside. After slamming the trunk shut, she got into the car and put on her seatbelt. She waited for Asher to get in the car, and checked the time. They had ten minutes to get to Cody's school.

Asher got in the passenger side and put his seatbelt on and eventually then said, "You're welcome." He checked his own watch and decided not to distract her any further, since they didn't have that much time.

Oh my gosh my tummy hurts D:

Morgan pulled out of the parking lot and stayed silent for a while. Eventually, she started rambling, "Thanks, Asher, for doing all of this. You really don't have to if you don't want to. I'll drop you off at your house after I pick up Cody if you want me to..."

That sucks. It's the absolute worst thing, because whenever I get stomach pains I get unbearable back pain because of an injury I got once.

Hope you feel better soon ):

Asher smiled at her and said, "Hey, you've already invited me around for dinner, and I don't want to back down from that." He glanced out of the window, "Honestly, it's kind of nice just to be doing something else, with somebody different. And it's no trouble at all.. Any time that you need anything.. Just call me or something."

Yeah, it's mainly the muscles becuase I worked out yesterday. Ouch...

Morgan smiled slightly and said, "I'd need your number to call you..." A couple of stoplights later, Morgan pulled into the driveway of an old school. Morgan parked in front and said, "I'll be right back." she got out, and walked into the school.

A few minutes later, Morgan walked out holding a blond boy's hand. She was talking to him, and actually looked happy.

Ah, yeah. I used to get that but because I do lots of situps twice a week at Tae Kwon Do I don't get it so much anymore.

In the meantime, Asher had responded to that comment and written his number down on a small piece of paper for Morgan. He watched for her and Cody to return and smiled when he saw them together.

I was forced into 100 situps today D: Yeah, not fun. You do Tae Kwon Do? That's so cool. My friend Emma & I want to do that, but we can't find a class near us.

Morgan helped Cody into the back seat. She got back into the driver's seat and said to Asher, "Asher, this is Cody." Then to Cody, "Cody, this is my friend Asher." Cody waved shyly and looked down.
