Nice. And I'll probably trade with you in that I can't sing as well as I'd like to. But I just keep practising, I suppose.

Okay, well, I'll see you when I see you :)

"So you're not much in favour of love, then, I suppose?" Asher chuckled, Don't knock it 'till you've tried it." He said to her, "So you know that it does, then? You almost make me feel silly for being a virgin, a feel like I should know this."

"It's not that I'm not in favor of it, it's just..." she paused for a moment as she strained the spaghetti, "I don't think that it'll ever happen to me." Morgan raised an eyebrow as she said, "Let's just say that I've lost plenty of friendships and or boyfriends from having sex with them. I wish I was a virgin, sometimes. You don't have anything to worry about-- No STIs, no akwardness, no unwanted pregnancies..."

Asher said to her, "But, at the same time, it can be good for a relationship. But again, that depends on how you feel about that person, I suppose." He went quiet for a moment and then said, "And, well, you don't have to worry so much about pregnancies or STIs if you do something about it first. Though, in any case, I'm not really interested anyway, so it doesn't matter."

Morgan laughed. "I can't believe we're talking about this, of all the things we could be talking about." She pulled the garlic bread out of the grocery bag and looked at the directions. She pre-heat the oven for the said time and leaned back onto the counter.

"Well, yeah, I suppose you're right there. But even so, it is odd that we spent so long talking about it," he chuckled, shrugging. "But, yes, we're not your average couple of friends by any standards.

Morgan laughed a bit. The sound of a car pulling into the driveway drifted into the kitchen. "Well, great. That's probably my darling father and Janet, his fabulous girlfriend." Morgan said sarcastically.

Asher asked her, "Will they be okay with me being over and all? And that I helped you with all the stuff you had to do? By the sounds of things, she wants to cause you as much misery as possible."

"No, it'll be fine if you stay here. Maybe they'll put on the 'oh-let's-be-nice-we-have-company' act if you're here." Morgan said, shrugging. She pulled the garlic bread out of the oven and grabbed five plates. She quickly set the table.

The door opened and slammed closed. Morgan cringed, but turned around to greet her father. "Hey, dad..." Morgan said akwardly. Her father was tall and lean, with the same green eyes that Morgan had, except Mr. Doyle's were a little more bloodshot than his daughter's. Mr. Doyle's hair was neatly trimmed and was a deep shade of brown.

Morgan's father ruffled Morgan's hair as he said, "Hey, kiddo. What's for dinner?" He saw Asher standing in the kitchen. "And who is this?"

"We're having spaghetti for dinner, and this is Asher." Morgan said to her father. To Asher, "And Asher, this is my dad, Mr. Doyle, and his girlfriend, Janet."

Haha, yeah. I didn't know what else to call him. & He's real formal when he's not drunk. Haha jk :)

Morgan was done with all of this fake we-all-love-each-other-here crap. She turned around and walked back into the kitchen to finish setting the table. (I'll make Morgan's dad's name Jack) Jack followed her into the kitchen, heading straight for the refridgerator to get a bottle of beer.

"Where's my dry cleaning, Morgan?" Janet whined.

"Shxt." Morgan mumbled. "It's still at the dry cleaners. I'll get it after dinner." she said to Janet, trying her hardest not to yell.

Fair enough, haha xD

Asher helped Morgan with the table, putting out the knives and forks for her, getting her to find them for him first, so she could get other things done. He noted how quickly her dad had gone for a beer, and already it seemed like he was beginning to see the Jack that Morgan had been talking about.

Morgan saw the beer in her dad's hand and glared at it. "Cody, dinner!" she called for her little brother. Cody came in shyly and sat at the table. Jack said to Asher, "So, Asher, how old are you?" Morgan rolled her eyes at his attempt of small talk as she served everyone their food.

Jack nodded, and took a swig of his beer. He really wasn't paying attention anymore. The bottle was already 3/4 empty. Morgan eyed the bottle nervously and started twirling the spaghetti silently, not eating any of it. Maybe she shouldn't have invited Asher over. She decided that she'd take him home after dinner.

Asher went quiet and still for a moment, as if expecting Jack to say something back, since he'd been the master of small talk since they'd arrived. He then took to just eating his spaghetti quietly, pushing it around his plate quite a lot to kill time between bites.

"I'm done." Morgan announced, standing up and throwing away her food. She set her plate in the sink and watched her father, silently cursing him as he got up for another beer. This time, he poured vodka in it too. Morgan wrinkled her nose and continued to glare at Jack.

Asher finished off his plate of food. Maybe he wouldn't have, because of the awkward feeling he was getting, but he was hungry. He took his plate to the sink, setting it on top of Morgan's and then stood uncomfortably thereafter.

"Okay, well, I'll be back." Morgan said. "I'm going to take Asher home now..." Cody stood up and said "Can I come?" Morgan nodded and grabbed both Asher's and Cody's hands and pulled them towards the door.
