Jake went home with Matt and Mark, who were going to go to a different high school(A public one) then Alyssa and Maybeth, who were going to a private school. Matt and Mark and Jake lived out of the state, where their favorite team and the team Jake plays for is located, because they knew that it would be horrifying for poor Jake if he had to quit playing for the Retro City Packers, because he loved them, and Jake's descendants have played for the old team that has lived on so long. Alyssa, Maybeth, Mike and Joy all had to live there because Mike and Joy enjoyed the countryside, and Alyssa and Maybeth loved running to the valleys and picking flowers. They knew the city was no place for them, and the 3 men knew that the country was no place for them, either.

Alyssa and Maybeth's private school was an all-girls school and the time that Alyssa tripped she sprained her ankle.

Except the one boy that Maybeth had a crush on. He was quiet, had no interest in love whatsoever, and every girl seemed to like him, but he just told them, Go find a life. And when Maybeth asked him, he said the same go find a life.
