Sinead managed to keep herself at a fair distance from Alexander the whole day, until English class. She sat in her usual seat, fidgeting with her pencil and her nerves got the best of her. Did he even remember what had happened the night before? She did. All too vividly. She wasn't quite sure how to address him, or how to bring it up without making everything awkward-- more awkward. She tried to avoid looking at him, staring at the board and doodling in her notebook.

Alexander slid down into his seat calmly, sneaking a galnce at the girl beside him. He stared down again at his desk. There seemed to be something wrong or at least something off atleast. He couldn't put his finger on it. Had he missed something? It wouldn't surprise him if he did, last night was a complete blur so he very well could have missed something. He could sense the awkwardness between them yet again, had they gotten into yet another argument? Alexander sighed softly, and looked up at the clock.

Sinead glanced over at him and caught him looking at her. She blushed profusely, then turned and wrote furiously in her notebook. She then tore out the piece of paper and slid it to Alexander silently. On it was written, "Why did you kiss me?" She preferred this method of speaking rather than talking about it face to face. Besides, the note could easily be destroyed. Besides, after school, she was going straight to the hotel to get changed for the court hearing.

Alexander raised an eyebrow at the paper curiously. He read it and nearly choked, covering it up with a forced cough/throught clearing noise. He whipped his head around to her. His eyes wide and shocked. He scribbled down a repsonse on the paper and slid it back. "I did what?!"

No, I wouldn't. No, she has to be kidding. "That's not funny." He whispered back. He couldn't understand why she would even joke like especially with the rumours about them going around.

"You were drunk," she whispered, her cheeks getting even more red than before. She wrote on the piece of paper quickly and handed it back. "We got in an argument. I tried to leave, you kissed me. I... I kissed you back," she wrote. She sighed softly, burying her face in her hands. She had to let him know how she had responded. It had to be honest, the whole situation needed to be open between them if they were going to get this settled.

Alexander continued to look straight ahead of him. Afraid to look at Sinead. "I don't remember any of it." He whispered quietly. The thought that he was drunk enough not to remember that worried him a bit. It made him wonder what else he might have done that he didn't remember. He wasn't too sure what to make of it. When he was the one doing it he had no idea what to think, let alone now when he was being told something he had no memory of. He glanced over at Sinead, she looked.... He couldn't find the right word for it, Worried? Embarrased?

"I figured as much," she whispered with a soft sigh, trying to focus on her school work. "Let's just pretend it never happened." She started taking notes in her notebook, mentally screaming and punching Alexander in the face over and over again. Stupid boy. She gripped her pencil tightly, the embarrassment still evident on her face. She decided to just blame what he did on the alcohol, and not to think about it or want to do it again.

Alexander breathed out a heavy breath. He couldn't wait for this class to be over. It felt like he had been sitting here forver. He didn't say another word to Sinead the entire time. Afraid to talk anymore about it with their classmates still in earshot. When the bell rang, he got up out of his seat and left the room immediately. He went straight for his locker to get his pack of cigarettes. After getting a bombshell like he'd got it had really made him need one. He then headed out one of the side doors before lighting it up.

After class, Sinead walked by herself outside of the school building, looking a bit crestfallen. She had honestly hoped that that conversation would have gone much better, but then again, what could she expect? Sighing, she waited for the lawyer that was supposed to come pick her up so she could get to the courthouse. She sat on a bench by herself, twiddling with her thumbs. She could wait to leave this town for good. Nothing here seemed to go right for her.

Alexander saw Sinead come outside and walk across the field. He debated going over and talking to her, wondering if it would be weird after their earlier conversation. He decided that it would be weird if he didn't so he strode over and hoped over the back of the beck sliding down beside her. "Don't tell me you're skipping class." He said making a shocked face. He couldn't help but be curious as to know why she was outside when she should have been scurrying off to her next class.

Sinead looked over at him, not entirely surprised by his presence. "I have to leave early for the court hearing today," she said quietly, turning her attention back to her fingers that were neatly laced on her lap. "I hate leaving school early, but it's a necessary evil." She then messed with her purse, checking her cell phone to see what time it was. "My lawyer is coming to pick me up since I don't have a car or anything to get me to the court building."

Alexander nodded. That made sense, there would have to be a court hearing, and she would have to testify before an actual verdict could be made. "You would hate leaving early." He said shaking his head disapprovingly. "I guess that beats walking... "He trailed off a bit. "Are you okay? You seem a little ... off today." He asked noticing how she was normally never this quiet. He took another drag of his cigarette.

Sinead said, "I'm fine. Just kind of embarrassed about what happened last night." She ran her fingers through her hair, then looked over at him and smiled slightly. "But... it's whatever. You don't remember it, so I guess it's okay if I forget it." She coughed nervously, her cheeks turning red again. "So yeah. That's pretty much it, I guess."

"Don't be. Like you said, I don't remember how bad of a kisser you are so there's nothing to be embarrassed about. " Alexander replied smirking. He paused slightly glancing over at her. "But what? What were you going to say?" he asked her. He noticed her blushing, her cheeks turning a bright rose. He the way she had trailed off made him wonder what she had originally planned on saying and why she would change her mind.

Sinead frowned and said, "Bad? Bad? Ha, that's not what you said last night. In fact, you said I was very good at it. And I wasn't going to say anything else. I wouldn't have anything good to say-- or nice, to be honest." She shook her head and sighed softly, checking her phone again and giving a sigh. "Great. I have to wait ten more minutes." She rested her head in her arms, chewing on her lower lip.

 Liar Liar Pants On Fire!!!!

Alexander rolled his eyes at her and shrugged. "I was drunk. I say dumb sh*t when I'm drunk." He explained knowing all too well how true it was. When he got drunk he tended to say things that if he could remember all them the next day he would regret. He raised an eyebrow at her slightly. "Well aren't we high maintenance, Princess. Or sorry, your highness." He took another drag, blowing out a puff of smoke, descretely aiming for Sinead knowing it would probably irritate her.

"If high maintenance means that I want to get to court on time, then sure. Why not. One of the biggest days of my life and I might be late." She coughed lightly, her throat getting somewhat irritated by the smoke being blown directly at her. Sighing with frustration, she looked over at him and said, "Oh, so you don't believe me? Fine. I'll show you." She leaned forward and started kissing Alexander passionately, her fingers tugging gently at the collar of his shirt.

"Hey calm down, it's not really that big of a deal." Alexander said simply. "How are y-" His question was cutoff by her kissing him. He was definitely surpried by her actions, he had never seen her be so forward before. He finally settled into it and closed his eyes and kissed her back. He rose one hand up to the back of her head and the other reached over and cupped her cheek. He wouldn't ever tell her, but she was actually right, she was indeed a great kisser.

Sinead pulled back when she knew he was into the heat and the passion of the kissing, a smirk plastered on her face. "And there you go. More of my horrible kissing, which you returned just as horribly, if I have to say. She applied more lip balm to her lips and grinned, leaning back onto the bench. "But this court hearing is quite a big deal, seeing as it will probably put my father behind bars for a very long time."

Alexander took a moment to regain himself. "You're right. That was gross." He lied. He dropped his smoke after taking one final drag and put it out with his foot. "I know. And that's a good thing." He said trying to change the subject from their kissing in the opes that it would make him want to do it again less. Because, oh did he ever, kissing her sober was better than kissing her drunk strangely and he really wanted to do it again. He tried to supress the urge to kiss her again, not wanting to let her know just how much he was lying to her.
