I had my iD paused on the 9th and 10th because of work. Of course, as soon as I un-paused it on the 11th, the batteries ran out.

When I put batteries back in, it downloaded to the time Chuuchutchi evolved into an Uwasatchi on the 7th. So she got held back a little bit. No new pictures today, the 12th. I will try for Ta Ma To Mo items tomorrow.

Devilgotch

I still haven't restarted this guy yet. I really want to see it through but it took so long to get to the adult stage, and to have the batteries run out...I don't know, especially with my work schedule, having to pause in between and all, it was a little off-putting for that to happen. We'll see. I'll probably restart tomorrow.

Angel App

I restarted this one today though, just because I'd like to keep unlocking wallpapers, shells, etc, and experience new characters. Also, evolution happens quicker, which is a nice change of pace. Same old thing, US space ship, Obaketchi 2, and then Maruten. I think I'll try for the healthy teen character and then from there, keep Angel Power on the low side to get a character other than Kuriten.

I think I'm going to hold off on re-starting my Devilgotch for the time being. I've got a lot going on right now and I think having a pretty hardy, low-maintenance Tamagotchi (like the iD) is what I can handle for now. Besides, I've got the Angel App running too so that will keep me plenty busy. Maybe next time!

Here is where I'll experiment with low Angel Power and see what I get.

Uwasatchi got her last happy letter today but it was late in the day and she went to sleep before I could bring her to the matchmaker. We'll save that trip for another day.

Yet another shell unlocked.

Kodoten evolved into...Kuriten. Surprising, since I hardly watched her and kept Angel Power down. You must really have to lay on the neglect if you want different characters, it seems.

In other news, got my used golden V3 in the mail today. It's numbered 1303 out of 2500. I have a NIP factory-sealed one but I wanted one out of package to play with so I don't ever have a reason to open up the sealed one.

I worked on the 15th and resumed running my iD on the 16th.

I took Uwasatchi to the matchmaker, where she and Mametchi were married.

They had a baby girl.

She evolved into Hoshitchi.

Forgot to mention that I unlocked the final wallpaper with 10000 points accumulated from the app mode game.

New shell!

On the 15th, Kuriten got sick once. Didn't like the medicine, of course.

Then I gave her a snack and all was well.

Nothing new went on with Kuriten on the 16th.

I paused my iD while I was at work on the 17th and 18th. By then, my gal had evolved into Chuuchutchi. I had a feeling I knew what adult character I would end up with because I knew I let one too many care misses go by. Sure enough, Chuuchutchi evolved into Uwasatchi, a repeat character. Apologies for the extreme lack of pictures this time around. I attribute this to part preoccupation with work/wedding planning and part laziness. I will take her to the matchmaker as soon as the option opens up.

Angel App

Kuriten returned to Angel Planet. I'm really thinking that Debirutchi isn't a character you can raise on the app, but rather it's an animation for a "bad end." Just a guess. Anyway, this concludes my Angel App run for the time being. Still kind of bummed that I didn't see any opportunities for praise/strolls. Maybe an update would fix that...or maybe I was oblivious.

My batch of virtual pets from Japan came in the mail on the 19th, which was a pleasant surprise. I needed this after another rough shift. Unwrapping new purchases is very therapeutic. It only took a whopping 4 days for the package to arrive this time around. I love EMS shipping. I'm glad I decided to stay up a little longer that morning right after work because the postman came before 10 am this time and I would have missed him! So let me introduce to you the newest members of my virtual pet family (I really need to get around to making that new collection picture/video(s)). Though I picture a few of the following in more detail, it doesn't mean I love the others any less.

Pink iD L Station (Store Deka for the iD L) : I was flipping out when I saw this one crop up for sale. It sold for a pretty penny but it was worth it. Not sure if I'm ever going to figure out all the ins and outs of this one but I sure will have fun with it in the process! It's even more glorious seeing it in person. It even came with the AC adapter and the chain that holds the unit to displays in the stores.

White Yasashii: Finally got my hands on one of these! Price wasn't too bad either. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came with all of its packaging because when I looked at the picture provided in the listing, it only looked like the card came included, not the plastic front cover as well. Glad to see that its complete and in great condition. I was seriously fangirl squeeing when opening this one up.

Yukata Blue Keitai: I just sold one over at my sales thread because I wanted to make room for this packaged version. Plus, this new one has a matching blue side chain, whereas my old one had a pink one. Small detail, but it makes a difference to me.

Mezamatch alarm clock: Always wanted one of these, especially the blue one, but didn't really feel like shelling out over $100 for one. Even though it came without packaging, I'm happy to have found one for a reasonable price.

Got an extra blue iD.

Exile TMGC+C: Special edition but same programming as a regular +C. I really love the sheen and how pearly the shell looks. The picture doesn't do it justice.

R2-D2 Giga Pet for the Star Wars nerd in me.

The white box contains the shareholder set of Tamagotchi Pluses to commemorate the Bandai head office moving to new headquarters. I am very pleased with the pristine condition of the set, also complete.

Figured I'd try out another odd virtual pet and so I went for a Super Gyaoppi this time around.

Last, but not least, I snagged a Teku Teku Angel.

I'm hoping to start setting things up in the next week or so in order to take an updated collection picture. Until then! Thanks for reading!

I apologize once again for the scant amount of pictures (well, relative to previous posts) in the following post. Work has been busy and wedding planning is picking up. I'm getting married in about 2 months so it's go time! Thank you, all, for your understanding.

I took Uwasatchi to the matchmaker, where she married Kikitchi (took the wedding pictures on my phone and they all came out blurry, sadly). A new baby girl was brought home!

She evolved into Belutchi after the hour of care. She evolved into Shelutchi on the 23rd.

I'll aim for Lovelitchi, since I've already gotten Chamametchi, and I have a couple more days off so I can be more of an ideal caretaker, nay, maybe even the perfect caretaker.

I've been having the itch to run my iD L again lately but am not sure if I have enough time to be running more than one at the moment and log about it as well. I figured I'd just go with the iD until I earn Ta Ma To Mo stamps for all characters, and pick up a new Tamagotchi to run from there.

I'm thinking I may not put my iD on pause while I'm at work, at least not tomorrow because Lovelitchi will only be 4 tomorrow so she's got another day before she can get her last stamp and go to the matchmaker so I'll let the day go by while I'm sleeping (good thing she's got a fuller and bigger happiness bar to empty ), fill her back up right before I go to work, hope that she goes to sleep before the meters empty too much, and then pause her in the morning after filling her up again before I go to sleep for my next shift. Sounds like a plan.

Hello, fellow TamaTalkers! It's been a while since I last logged. I apologize for being somewhat MIA for the past few months. Some of you may know that I was planning my wedding over the past year, and in May this year, I got married! That's my little update for what's been going on. Other than that, I've just been working, as usual. Work remains wonderfully rewarding, though challenging at times (but that's how learning happens ), and I'm being recognized for the work that I do.

Amidst all the day to day though, I've been having a strong urge to run Tamagotchis and log recently, so here I am! Though I haven't been logging, I've still been making purchases. I'm not sure when I'll get an updated collection picture and video up (I haven't posted a collection update since April 2012!) but I'm hoping to have something put together by the end of the year.

Anyway, I wanted to slowly get started up again, in light of my upcoming SEVENTH anniversary with TamaTalk. Rather than spend an exhausting amount of time backlogging (as I usually do) the few instances I've run Tamagotchis intermittently over the past few months (because I at least take pictures and go back to log later if I don't have time...the time stamp on pictures helps), I figured I would just start fresh. I decided on running my beloved blue TMGC+C (my first color Tamagotchi, purchased back in 2010) and my more recently purchased companion for my blue +C, the white EXILE +C. The EXILE is a special edition +C but it runs exactly the same as regular +Cs. I'm excited about connecting 2 +Cs for the first time. Up until now, I've only connected my blue +C to other color Tamagotchis, but not another +C. It probably wont be much different but I'm still looking forward to it!

I reset my +Cs (featured on a couple of cradles made by oddsandendswithlove) and staggered the start times a bit so I could take pictures of the both of them when they evolve and whatnot.

A boy hatched on my blue +C and a girl hatched on the EXILE +C. Ill call the boy, Clark, and the girl, Lois.

Here they are, enjoying life and fireworks (perhaps wondering when they'll meet their one true love, not knowing that they're both staring up at the same sky ).

When I ran a +C last time, I posted a link to a list (I'm sure I've listed them out too) of seasonal animations on the +C, a fan-favorite feature that unfortunately does not make appearances as prominently on future color releases. Here's that list (thanks to Ra!):

Quick review of the games, to jog my memory and for all your curious readers out there -

The first game involves catching falling apples in a basket. They start out green, turn yellow, and fall when they turn red. Catch all 50 to win and if you miss one or accidentally catch a worm instead, the game stops there. The second game is a basic memory game where you turn over and match all the cards before time runs out. No, I did not use this picture to help me win that game, wheres the fun in that? The last game involves shooting arrows at the 3 balloons per round without hitting the skull balloon. That's timed as well (the top number) to about 10 seconds per round and the time resets each time you complete a round. The bottom number shows how many rounds you've completed. There are 15 rounds total. About halfway through, it gets a little harder because you have to avoid 2 skull balloons.

Eventually, I connected my 2 +C's and so Lois and Clark met for the first time. They looked happy to see each other but apparently Clark didn’t want to pursue anything beyond “acquaintances” for the time being because he gifted Lois a pile of poo. Not very nice, Clark!

He went back to apologize and his gift was much more satisfactory this time around – Lois loved the bouquet of flowers.

After an hour, both evolved into toddlers, Clark into Kuribotchi, and Lois into Sakuramotchi.

Then it was off to sleep for the pair because it’s not waking time over here where I am.

I had my +C's paused the rest of the 5th because I worked that evening and so I slept the entire day before my shift. Back for another update!

Both Lois and Clark woke up looking like they jumped around in dirt, so after a bath, they got to...go outside and play some more.

I wanted to work on some of their happy items but remembered that I had completely reset both my +C's, so Lois and Clark are BROKE! Time to play some games.

While waiting to make some money, how about some freebie happy signs? It happened to be a clear morning this morning and so eventually, heart-shaped clouds filled the sky.

This time, I had Lois visit Clark. Again, it took a little encouragement but eventually they learned to play nice.

I've been slacking on posting in my log new additions to my collection as they come in, opting instead to post in the "What have you got in the mail today?" thread but I guess to make a small effort to catch up, here's what I got in the mail most recently - my Tamagotchi Fan Premium magazine and blue bag. Pretty exciting to come home to these after a long shift.

In other news, just wanted to share that I received this in the mail recently, one of the special Asian design vintages. This one is a P2. It's the Vietnam design, which is particularly special to me because I'm Vietnamese. I love the little drawings on the shell of people in conical hats riding around in bicycles and carrying water with a shoulder pole, just like in our country.

Later in the day, Lois and Clark obtained more happy signs. This time, they were looking out for a stem floating upright in their tea. Clark had a little too much tea to drink in his search, so he had a toothache! All was well after a bit of medicine.

We all then visited TamaTama Market to purchase a magnifying glass to be used later.

One of the locations available on the +C is the prize redemption center. Every time you make a purchase at TamaTama Market, you are given a red prize ticket, which can be redeemed at the redemption center. Both Lois and Clark received some awesome prizes, which were stored away in their treasure chests.

It was a clear, starry night on the evening of August 7. Both Lois and Clark had saved up enough Gotchi Points to each buy a telescope, so they both took this opportunity to make another purchase (note on top of the wrapped present, containing the newly-purchased telescope, the red prize ticket I mentioned in my last entry...tickets that are redeemed for treasure chest items at the prize redemption center) and gain another happy symbol.

They were very eager to try out their new toy, and after some time, they saw...

Did they wish upon the same shooting star?

While they were both still outside, they planted seeds in the ground. We'll see how they grow in the coming days!

I really enjoy the seasonal animations and features on the +C. Too bad they didn't really carry over to the more recent color models. Though relatively simple, I consider the +C to be one of my most treasured of the color Tamagotchis.

So when I laid eyes on my +C's this morning, one of my +C's screens (can't remember which one, now that I think about it) was on the clock screen, and that the time was paused somehow! I really hope it hadn't been paused for the whole 8 hours or so in which I was sleeping, which would make growth delayed. Oh well, here's hoping for the best. If they don't evolve at the same time tomorrow morning like they should, I'll do some pausing to catch up the one that's behind.

The kids were rustling around early this morning. They both were in need of a bath again. Lois somehow managed to get outside even before bath time and so we watched as her little plant sprouted up a little more. Clark's plant eventually followed suit after bath time.

Wanted to get a picture of Lois' wiggle dance, but wound up catching the tail end of it.

The kids remembered that they had a newly-acquired magnifying glass sitting in their treasure chest so after breakfast and waiting a couple of hours (the sky doesn't turn clear with puffy, white clouds until at least 9 am) they set out to hunt for the elusive four-leaf clover.

Lois and Clark rounded off the rest of the day of August 8 by obtaining more happy signs. This time, a "winner" Popsicle stick did the trick.

They then visited the prize redemption center with a couple of prize tickets from previous purchases in hopes of getting the rainbow watering can. No such luck this time around, though they did get other items to store in their treasure chests. Looks like they have to play more games and earn more money to spend at TamaTama Market!

On the other hand, some items become available just by entering in passwords, like the Hapihapi seeds needed to sprout a tree with Hapihapi candy hearts, another happy item.

Those will be saved for later since only one tree can be planted at a time.

In other news, today, August 9, 2014, marks my SEVENTH year with TamaTalk. It truly has been a great ride and I hope to continue along happily with this great community.

August 9-10, 2014

Well, as I predicted, one of my +C's evolved into an adult before the other on the early morning of the 9th. Turns out, it was Clark who was accidentally paused for what I guessed was around 8 hours. So I paused Lois, who had evolved into Memetchi, after she went outside to check on her tree, and let Clark catch up. By the time I woke up in the afternoon to prepare for another shift at work, Clark had evolved into an adult, Mametchi. I un-paused Lois and let them be for the time being because it's too early for them to get married anyway. Besides, I wanted to work on more of the happy signs.

Unfortunately, on the morning of the 10th, Clark woke up to a full-on torrential downpour outside. His tree had disappeared too.

Strangely on my EXILE +C though, Lois was having a grand old time, and saw her tree bloom fully to reveal a cotton candy tree.

Weird. The weather remained like that respectively all day too. I know it's typhoon season over in Japan right now but it's kind of strange that both +C's aren't experiencing the same weather. Ah well, neither of them are going anywhere for the time being. I wanted to start over with the Hapihapi seeds anyway. If only the weather will permit. We'll just have to see.
