Aviance woke up and looked out the window, into the woods. She saw a gentleman walking by, his back bent forward with the weight of a girl, older than Lise, but no older than 10. Both were dirty and tired, and they looked as if they had been traveling for days and days.

Demetri was about to kiss him, but then he saw the man too. His eyes narrowed slightly. "Thats weird."

I was so happy to see them!!! They're the bestest!

The little girl coughed violently, then said, "Papa, are we almost there? I'm so tired..."

The man said, "Darling... just wait, we'll be okay, I'll protect you."

Aviance got out of bed and walked outside, waving an arm. "Sir! Sir! Do you need some help?" She then noticed the little girl coughing up blood. "Sora!" She screeched. "Sora! Hurry, this girl needs help!"

Except when I saw them, most of them just stood there. D:

Aviance said, "This girl is very sick! She's coughing up blood, which means a strong infection in her lungs. She needs attention right away. And it looks like she hasn't had anything proper to eat or drink, ever." She took the girl into her arms, relieving the man of her weight.

Sora looked at the man, "you should come in too, and rest while I help your daughter."

The man nodded tiredly, following after Sora.

Aviance called to Alli, "Honey, take Oliver so he won't be near anyone else. I don't want him to get sick." She took the girl and placed her on the examination table.

Upon hearing his mother's voice, Oliver squealed happily from the other room.

Alli held Oliver, and smiled gently. "She'll be here soon, babe." He kissed his son's head.

Sora walked over, and started digging in his collection of herbs, combining multiple herbs until they formed a neon blue powder. And then he added it to water, where it turned into a pale pink color. He smiled at the girl. "Open your mouth."

Oliver looked up at Alli, and managed a smile, then cooed up at him, reaching up to pull his hair.

The girl looked at the man. "Papa, I'm scared!" She said, her voice trembling.

The man said, "Dear, just do what the man says. He means you no harm."

So, the girl opened her mouth, bracing herself firmly.

Zach put aluminum up his nose and had to go to medical clinic to get it removed. this spring break just sucked in general.

Alli smiled, "How you doing little guy?"

Sora poured some in. "Swallow. And then drink more."

D: that sounds really super crappy.

Oliver managed to get a bit of Alli's hair, and he tugged at it gently, his other hand stuck in his mouth.

The girl swallowed, and then drank more of the pink concoction, wrinkling her nose slightly. When she finished, she coughed a little bit, but the bleeding had gone down a lot.

it was. i almost died twice this spring break, had many hopes and dreams crushed, and what not.

Alli laughed, "You are way too cute."

Sora nodded. "Now I need you to rub this on your chest." He gave her a white cream. "You should go to anothe room and do this." He looked at the man. "Is this fine with you? Would you like to accompany her?"

You almost DIED!? That's awful!!!

Oliver squeaked a couple times, his form of laughter. He reached for one of Alli's fingers, squeezing it gently.

The man said, "I... I'm not sure... I mean..."

Aviance said, "Would you like me to take care of her, sir? I promise, she's in good hands."

The man looked around warily, then nodded. Aviance took the girl's hand, and led her out of the room.

Alli smiled, "You got a good grip, little boy. A future wrestler?"

Sora sighed, and sat back, quiet.

Oliver just stared up at him, a look of wonder and awe on his face as he examined his father.

The man waited nervously, twiddling his thumbs.

Aviance and the girl returned, and Aviance had put the girl in clean clothes. "I hope you don't mind, but her clothes were damp and dirty, and she needed something dry to wear."

Alli smiled, "What, like what you see?"

Sora nodded. "We should get you in new clothes, too."

It'll be good for you to be back with your friends.

Oliver touched Alli's face, then cuddled close to him, cooing quietly.

The man said, "Just... please, finish caring for her first. I can wait." He looked to be about 40-50, older than most other fathers. He had a rugged, coarse look about him, as one looks who has been through many trials.

"She's good for now. She could just use a bath." Sora nodded.

Mine was actually pretty good! Which is normally rare. I usually get freaked out and angry at my family, but it's been pretty good.

Oliver yawned, because being cute was very hard work. He was worn out, but he seemed to be in a good mood anyway.

Aviance nodded and took the girl to the bathroom to clean her up.

The man said to Sora, "I'm not really ill, just tired."
