Oliver woke up slightly, and made whimpering noises. Again, his nap had been interrupted.

Alli bit his lip. "I... Keep doing this..." He looked at his son, feeling guilty.

"We should go." Kiara whispered to Lise.

"You're far from a monster." Demetri whispered.

Aviance said, "Honey, don't feel bad. We're just not used to having a baby in the house." She kissed his cheek, then tried rocking Oliver to sleep again.

Lise nodded, creeping out of the room silently.

Frexspar said, "I'm a bloodthirsty, killing machine. I'm a monster..."

Aviance smiled, then said, "Look, no harm done. He's fast asleep..." She put him in his little crib, a smile still on her face. "Goodnight Oliver. We love you."

Frexspar sighed and said, "I don't see how you were attracted to me. A wild man of the woods, and you-- so kind, and good, and beautiful."

Oliver curled up, sleeping soundly.

Aviance smiled and kissed Alli's forehead. "Alli, thank you for everything."

Frexspar said, "But I'm rugged, and sometimes a bit rough around the edges, and sometimes I can be a real pain."

Aviance said, "But you take care of me, make sure that I'm safe, you always help me when I need you, you protect me from all the bad guys. And you teach me something new each day. And just from that, I know you'll be able to be a good father to Oliver."

Frexspar kissed his forehead, a grin on his face. "You cheeky thing, you!"

Aviance said, "I know you're man enough to raise Oliver." She laid on the bed, then pulled him down beside her, so she could hold him in her arms.

Frexspar said, "Oh, very. I noticed that the first time we met, when you wanted a kiss from me. I think it's very becoming of you. And I'm glad you're still just as cheeky."

Aviance smiled and kissed his nose. "Honey, why don't you take a nap, hm?" She though it was funny, how she'd given birth a short while before, but she seemed more energized than Alli.

Frexspar said, "At first, I thought you were insane, but bold. And I also thought you looked very kissable."
