I have no idea what we're having yet. I'm a little worried about what I may be asked to do at this rate xD

"Well, we'll have to go really soon, then, won't we?" Asher said, returning the kiss gently, "I can't wait to see it. And hopefully soon I'll be able to give you a decent tour of Paradise Valley, too." He chuckled and said, "I don't know, I think it'd be pretty cute. Still, I'll live without-- you're right, it is nice to get out of the city."

Well, don't worry too much. I think that if you don't get a dj, it'd be good to have a local band perform or something.

Lucy said, "I can't wait to get a better look at Paradise Valley. I remember when I went the first time, the mountains were breathtaking. I was so jealous that you got to live so close to them! And no, my baby pictures would not be cute! Until I was about six, I ran around in my underwear like a little heathen child. I only got dressed when we went out in public, or when we had company. my parents didn't know what to do with me, I was far from a dainty princess."

Yeah. I'm just worried they'll ask me to play a few songs, is all.

Asher said, "I'm sure that I wouldn't be quite the inspired artist if it weren't for the amazing setting of my home. It was truly wonderful there. Completely different to here." He smiled and gave her another kiss, "You are far from a 'dainty princess' now. But that's exactly why I love you. I couldn't possibly handle someone too fragile and feminine. You are the right amount of everything."

If they do, don't get nervous

Think of it as just another chance to put yourself out there! =D

Lucy smiled and said, "If I'd grown up in a big city, I'm sure I would be much different from who I am now. But I wouldn't change a day of my life, not now or ever." She then kissed him while it lasted, smiling slightly against his lips. "Back home, when I got older, I was more dainty than some of the other girls. But they were very tough and rowdy, I was very calm and free spirited. And I'm glad you like the way I am, because I'm not going to change who I am. I mean, I would a little bit, if you wanted me to, but being too dainty would get boring after a while."

I'm hoping they won't. I'd get far too nervous and sing horribly. I'd play them something, but not sing, I think..

"Well, I can imagine. Girls from the country are a little different. But you're perfectly in between. Perfect in every way," Asher smiled, giving her yet another kiss. "I suppose, despite my new muscles, I'm not exactly particularly rowdy or tough in any way, shape or form," he chuckled.

Dx You never know unless you try. that's how I look at it.

Lucy kissed him back then laughed and shook her head. "No, you're very far from rowdy. You're playful, I'll give you that, but not rowdy. In my mind, you are a little bit tough. I mean, at the demonstration you punched that guy who was beating me up. And you went to a strange place for over a year, and fought all the odds to survive, and come home. I think you're tough, but in a good way." She had an urge to peek at the sketch, but she decided against it. "So, now what do we do?"

I have tried. The last time I sang in public I had a cold and it was horrible and even though I did have a cold I still feel bad about it.

"Well, okay, maybe in that sense. Though, I still don't think I'm all that tough. I was thinking it more in the sense of being stern and hard on people. And I hit him because I was angry, not because I'm tough. Adrenaline is like a drug without the side effects, you do things you never would otherwise," Asher replied. "Well, it depends, because I can finish sketching out everything else, and then you can come back and I can start painting. You're allowed to see the sketch, by the way. It'd be nice, actually, so you can see how it develops from start to finish. But, if you don't want to spend the day being painted, that's fine with me. Say the word."

I bet you weren't nearly as bad as you think. And I think singing at prom would be an awesome experience.

Lucy smiled at him and kissed his forehead. "I think you can be tough when needed, how about that?" She said quietly, stroking his cheek with her fingertips. "And we can leave it at that." She giggled slightly, then leaned forward and kissed his neck a couple of times, out of affection. After she did that, she looked thoughtful, and she crossed her legs as she tried to decide what she wanted. "I think... I'd like to spend the day being painted, actually. I really want to see what it'll look like. I'm not patient."

I think I may well play at prom. I think if I perform with my amazing friend Lizzy, she can do most of the singing, and then I could do a few songs as well.

Back later. Dinner :)

"Okay, that's good enough for me," Asher replied, chuckling. He closed his eyes when she stroked his cheek, and kept them shut until she'd finished kissing his neck, his smile widening. He opened them again and then said, "If you're sure, then I'll happily paint you. Of course, you know it won't be finished for a while. But it'd be good to get started. I don't know if maybe you have something with which to occupy yourself with until I start painting, or if you want to stay in here and watch me draw-- that's allowed, for now."

That would be awesome! You'd have to make sure someone filmed it, so you could have an example of a performance in a public venue.

Okiday!

Lucy thought about it, then said, "I can occupy myself until it's time for you to start painting! But that means I'm going to be out of the studio for a little while, okay?" She gave him a kiss, then walked out, going straight to their room. When she went inside, she got out her box of letters from Asher and sorted them, looking through the pictures he'd drawn on the stationary. After she'd finished, she put the box away and went back to the studio a few minutes after she'd left. "Okay, so maybe I didn't have all that much to do." She rubbed his shoulders gently, then sat beside him. "So I'll watch you draw."

Sounds cool. Or at least recorded the sound. They do that at school concerts.

"Okay, see you later, baby," Asher had said, going back to sit on his stool to begin drawing again. He smiled when he heard her return, though-- he had wondered what she'd planned on doing to keep herself busy in the meantime. He chuckled and called over, "Well, it's cosy over here so come and sit." He was in his own zone when he drew or painted, perfectly concentrated, his eyes a door to his mind, where so many things were going on in his head at once, all relating to this one object.

We usually have one company recording a cd, and then we also have dvds made =)

Lucy kissed his cheek, then stared at the canvas, occasionally letting her gaze wander to Asher's face. She thought he looked beautiful when he drew. He always seemed to get this look of total concentration, but the were flashes of emotion that she noticed. She could tell when he was thinking of some fond memory when he painted, or when it was sad, or made him angry. And his eyes were like the windows to his soul. He was always very open with her, but he was even more open when he was creating a piece of artwork.

We have DVDs made for the musicals. Just a CD for concerts, made by the school.

Asher worked on his rough sketch for a couple of hours or so-- there was a lot to include, and more with which he had to decide whether to include it or not. He had stayed in his deep state of concentration the whole time, just smiling occasionally when he felt Lucy's touch. He eventually put his pencil down, and observed it-- for about the fifth time, he was very precise; not quite a perfectionist, but getting there.

We have dvds for the musicals as well, although they're not official or anything. xD

Lucy seemed like she was in a trance as she watched the fluid motion of Asher's hand as he added more and more to the sketching, completely amazed at what was leaping out of the canvas. Already it looked marvelous, and Lucy couldn't help feeling a bit jealous that Asher had such an amazing talent. When he put down his pencil again, Lucy said, "You know, you're amazing. You may not believe it, but you are. I mean, this is just a sketch, and you could probably sell it for loads of money!"

I'm really sorry about that, Becca. I was just getting told off for 'inappropriate RPing' and I had to explain myself to TamaMum. I spoke my mind, I didn't think it was entirely fair. And I then had to discuss it with Evan because she was involved (hence posting in one RP but not here).

Asher shrugged and said, "But it's not alive yet. It may as well be sold as a crude study. It needs shade, detail.. colour!" He smiled, however, and gave her a quick kiss. "But I'm glad you like it."

It's okay, no worries! I'm so sorry that happened! D: For both of you!

*sigh* that must have been frustrating.

Lucy nodded and said, "I definitely see what you mean, Asher. Still, it's a lot better than most people could do, and you know it!" She smiled and asked, "So should I pose like I had been posing before? Or does it really matter?"

It was very. It was no worse than what happens here every day. Clearly if that was against the rules, you and I would have been warned multiple times by now.

What annoys me more is that, if it got reported, someone must have been reading it. Why would they, if they don't like it? It always frustrates me.

So I fought my corner xD

Asher smiled and said, "I think it's more of a case of being able to turn this into something, really, that shows skill. Hopefully I've got enough, then," he chuckled. "Sit tight for a minute, I'll get some paint ready." He got up, retrieving a pallette and then squeezing various shades of paint onto it. Then, he grabbed some brushes and a cup of water and set up behind his easel. "Yeah, the same pose as before, please, so I can see how the light hits you," he told her

Exactly! xD

Besides, it's just like you said: if you don't like it, don't read it! Dx it's not that hard.

So I have an essay due tomorrow, and I haven't even started. *sigh* I'm going to have a long night tonight.

Lucy nodded, then tried to recreate the pose as best as she could, asking, "Is this the right way? I'll get back into the whole daydreaming bit in a minute, but overall, is my posture and such the same?" She looked at the palette with all of the different colors, and was amazed by how vibrant they looked. She hadn't even touched the paint since Asher had left. It was nice that they were finally making use of the art supplies again.

And now they've deleted about 5 pages or so, which even TM admitted was more than what was inappropriate, "but it wouldn't make sense otherwise." It doesn't make sense now Evan and I have no idea where we are.

Tomorrow? But you're not going yet are you?

"Perfect. Beautiful," Asher replied, popping hus head around the canvas to smile at her before starting to mix colours together for hair and skin tones, et cetera. He applied base coats, and continued to layer it. He wouldn't finish her today, because a base for the surroundings had to be done as well, but if he got the basics down, he wouldn't need her again.
