Indeed, it is the cause of my back pain, too ): It is actually the bane of my life.

To cheer you up, though-- I love your FB picture =D

Brandon had felt her twitching, however. He woke up and put his hand to her forehead; she felt just slightly warmer than usual. He put his lips to her ears and softly called her name, to see how deeply asleep she was.

"If I ever happen to find your 'one', I'll let you know," she told him. "The only person's soulmate I can't see is, typically, my own." They were heading further towards the city now, she noted. She nodded at his comment about Sadie and Brandon. "It's very bittersweet. I'm so happy for them, but it only makes me wish more that I could feel that way."

Aw, thank you!

yours is super cute! :3

i feel like a pile of crud.

Sadie swore she heard someone calling her name. She tried to call out in reply, but the water suddenly filled her lungs, beginning to choke her. She squirmed more violently, then sat up quickly, taking shallow, irregular breaths. She was sweating, her face was extremely pale as she gasped for air. "I... I..." She sobbed.

Mikey said, "Definitely, I understand what you're saying completely. It's so hard, having been off overseas, fighting, and then I feel so unfulfilled when I return. It gets lonely after a while. Most of my family and friends have people, but... I'm alone."

Haha, thanks =D

Awh. How are you today?

Brandon sat up and held her to him, though not tightly. "Sadie, baby.. Shh.. It's alright," he whispered, "I'm here." He rocked her from side to side ever so slightly and stroked his fingers though her hair gently.

"Well, even if you just wanted to live with friends until you found someone.. You could always come and stay with us. I'm sure everyone would be okay with that," Angie told him. "And you'll find her someday. Everybody meets their soulmate at least once in their lifetime. It's just up to them to make sure they get to know each other the right way. One day she'll be right under your nose, I promise."

No problem!

I'm pretty good, because-- It's a snow day!

Sadie buried her face in his chest, shivering and gasping. "B-Brandon... it was.... just a dream..." She sobbed quietly, curling up in his arms, basically on his lap now. "I couldn't breathe... it was so scary... I was drowning...."

Mikey said, "I dunno. Honestly, I wouldn't want to intrude, and.. well, I think Sadie needs her space. Especially with my major screw up recently. I thought that bringing our parents would be a good idea... but mom hadn't changed at all. She was still critical, still mean, still uptight. She made Sadie cry. And it was because I brought them in. I was stupid, I should have talked to Sadie first." He kicked a small rock, then said to her, "Besides, with a new baby, I'm sure the house is a bit crazy."

I had wondered. I may well have one myself tomorrow. It's looking that way on the forecast. =D

"Yes, it was," he replied, still whispering. "Just try not to think about it. I'm here, we're in the house, and everything's alright." His arms tightened around her and he just held her against his chest.

"Okay, well, if you're sure you shouldn't, I won't force you," Angie said. "And, though your Mom tore a strip off Sadie, she got to make up with your Dad. One good thing came out of it." It was sort of hard to know what to say, when she didn't really know Mikey or his family all that well. She hadn't even gotten to know Sadie that much since she'd been there.

Wooo!!!

I love winter

Mikey said, "All of the reasons why she left, though... they became so much more obvious. And the rift between mom and Sadie got even worse. Leave it to me to screw things up." But then he sighed and said, "What's done is done, though. I can't change that. And... well, I'd like to live with you guys. Just... maybe after the craziness cools down a bit." He stopped walking, pulling her into his arms and hugging her. "Thank you, though, for offering."

Sadie looked up at him, and kissed him briefly, the fatigue evident on her face. She yawned and said to Brandon, "It's so strange... how it seems like you can save me, so easily. And make me feel better, and protected." She started drifting to sleep in his arms, although she was trying to stay awake.

As long as I'm not too cold, so do I =D

"Sadie has plenty of time to fix things. I am surprised that your Mom didn't at least take to Cosette. I don't see how anyone couldn't--" She stopped talking as he pulled her to him, not expecting it. Still, once she'd realised how she'd gotten there she hugged him back gently. "You're welcome, Mikey. Just the thought of you living on your own all the time.. I couldn't not offer, because we'd so easily have room for you. And you're family, too."

"Shhh.. Go back to sleep, baby. Just remember, I'm still right here," Brandon said to her softly, kissing her forehead. He stayed sat up for a while, just cradling her. Actually, more than a while. He'd stay up the whole night if he had to, just to make sure she was okay.

I like curling up and relaxing on snow days

Mikey let go of Angie and started walking beside her once more. 'Thanks Angie. You know, I feel like I can really understand you. You're really the only one who gets how I am feeling, because you feel the same way too." And he was really glad for that, the fact that someone would be understanding. Being on his own for so long, he felt very isolated, very much alone, and it was hard to for him cope with his own sadness. Lately, he'd been going to Sadie's old bar, trying to drink his troubles away. But, in the end, it made things worse.

Sadie did fall asleep in his arms, and luckily, it was a dreamless, peaceful sleep. She relaxed completely, her body going limp with relaxation. The coolness of Brandon's skin was comforting to her, much better than the stifling heat of her previous dream. She had become used to being cooler at night, because she would usually be in his arms. Now, too much heat bothered her.

Hot chocolate, marshmallows and cream with the gasfire on, curled up on the couch watching a movie with a couple of friends. Oh yeah, and Ben and JE

erry's.

That's what Lauren and I did last year.

Angie smiled slightly, though she didn't look at him. "Well, you can talk to me anytime, you know. I'm sure I'll be spending a few more nights out here. I feel a bit more at home in the night, actually. That's how real vampires spend their time, you see," she chuckled. "And I'm also pretty free during the day, too. I mean, I'd like to talk to you again, for the same reasons you've talked to me."

Brandon fell asleep himself, still sat up, leaning his back against the headboard of the bed. It wasn't a deep sleep-- he wasn't prepared to let himself do that, in case she woke up again. But deep enough that when he woke up, he wouldn't be tired at all.

That sounds amazing!

Too bad I'm stuck at home xD

Mikey said, "How would you like to make that a date? I'm free tomorrow evening, and we could just go out for a drive, find something fun to do. That is, if you don't mind going on a date with a human guy." He grinned at her, playfully nudging her arm. "Although, I'm definitely more intense than other human guys. And.. well, I am used to being around vampires, so that could be part of it."

Sadie was in a very deep sleep now, and it didn't look like she would be waking up anytime soon. Occasionally, she would burrow into his chest a bit more, getting comfortable, but that was it.

Until Cosette started crying again. She woke up slightly, and looked around groggily. "Honey... Cosette is crying again, I think," she mumbled, slightly dazed.

Lauren's only across the street. It's brilliant =D

Angie smiled and gently nudged him back-- extremely gently for her, anyway, which would have probably made him edge away slightly. "As long as you don't mind going on a date with a vampire girl, tomorrow night sounds good. It's a date," she chuckled.

Brandon pressed his lips to her forehead. "You just get back to sleep. It's my turn, anyway, baby," he whispered, gently laying her down and, after getting off the bed, tucking the covers over her. He went to check on Cosette. Her nappy needed changing again, and that was it. Obviously the blood would have made her pretty full. He returned after changing her and rocking her back to sleep.

I don't live close to my friends.

Dx sad day. BUT, I just love being at home.

Mikey said, "Why would I mind? Seriously, you guys are a lot more fun than the humans I know. Oh, don't tell Jude or Lucy I said that. They'll bite my head off." He didn't edge away, because she didn't intimidate him. Really, the only two vampires that would be able to really freak him out were Brandon and Evander. The only girl who could scare him was Sadie. Nobody saw her truly angry side, and he had only seen it once. But it was terrifying. "Besides, any guy would be stupid not to ask you out!"

Sadie immediately went back into his arms, and said, "Do you know what time it is, baby?" She felt completely disoriented, not having any idea what time it could possibly be. It had to be in the early hours... or did it? She could barely remember what the date was. She started to drift back to sleep, but she really wanted to know the answer.

She's the only friend I live close to. My other friends live at least a half hour away D:

"Hey, I'm on your side, remember?" Angie grinned at him now. She shook her head at his last comment, "I imagine it takes a little bit of madness to date a vampire. I like that in a guy, though. And, besides, there are much prettier girls out there than me."

"It's just before four o' clock," Brandon told her quietly, burying his face in her hair once again. "Now go back to sleep, she's perfectly happy now, she probably won't wake up again until later on, when we're up," he said.

Oh wow! None of my friends live that far away, unless you count the ones in college.

Mikey said, "Maybe I'm a little bit mad, I don't know. But honestly, I think you're the prettiest girl around... except for my sister, of course. But that's because she's my sister. I don't find her beautiful in the same way as you. First of all, because that would be scary. Second of all, because it's true." He stopped her and quietly said, "You obviously don't see what I see when I look at you."

Sadie yawned and mumbled something unintelligible, falling asleep quickly. She felt completely exhausted, but she knew she would have to get up in a few hours. She needed to sleep, not only because she hadn't gotten much already, but also because she needed to regain her strength after the pains of labor.

Yeah. Pretty much all of them do. Because my school is about that far away.

Back later. 90210 time =D

"Clearly not," Angie agreed, chuckling quietly. "But, thank you. I don't remember the last time a guy told me I was pretty. I've been very anti-social these past years, it seems, now that I think about it. It would have been nice, just to know you as a friend. I didn't know you'd ever thought of me that way, really. We don't usually get to talk to each other much," she said.

Brandon was right. Cosette slept through the rest of the night, and actually would continue to sleep until about midday, which gave them plenty of time to catch up on lost sleep. When he woke up around nine, he looked and definitely could see Sadie needed a few more hours. He was just fine as he was, but he stayed still in bed and pondered thoughts for her sake.

Okie dokie!

Mikey said, "Well, I'm not the kind of guy who's too outgoing when it comes to someone I admire. You don't mind if I tell you I've admired you for a long time, do you? I don't want to freak you out or anything. But.. I usually like to take things a bit slowly. Which is why I haven't asked you out before." Then he added, "And you don't have to thank me for calling you pretty. You're beautiful, and that's the truth."

Sadie slept soundly, curling up even further under the covers. She woke up about ten minutes after Brandon, stirring slightly. She was so cozy, she just wanted to lay there. "Baby, good morning," she murmured, smiling up at him. Has Cosette awakened yet?" She cuddled close to him, resting her cheek against his chest sleepily.

"Oh, well, I never would have expected to hear that from you. But it doesn't freak me out, at all. It's.. Nice to hear someone say that." She went quiet for a moment, looking at various places around the city while she tried to think of what to say to him. "And I'm glad I know how you feel about me. I've wanted to know for a while, actually. I was secretly glad it was you, of all people, that I bumped into."

"Morning." He smiled softly at her and gave her a brief kiss on the lips. "She's still asleep, honey. You look like you could be, too," he chuckled. "Haven't heard a thing since the last time she woke up."

Mikey said to her, "Well, I'm glad I got it off my chest. I had been wanting to tell you for a while, so I'm definitely glad I ran into you, too." He looked around at the city, now lit by sunlight. "Huh... morning... I barely noticed. So, does the sun have an effect on you, or not? That's one thing I've been wondering about you and your family."

Sadie laughed quietly and said, "I feel like I could be asleep, baby. But.. I dunno, I kind of just want to lay awake with you, and hold you close." She smiled up at him softly, wrapping her arms around him and pulling him close. "I'm glad she's getting enough rest."

Argh, the remote is out of battery and it's driving me crazy.

G'night! Happy snow day!

"Were you.. Afraid to tell me?" Angie asked him, her head tilting to the side slightly. In reply to his second comment, she said, "Oh, no. I really don't know who made that up. It's totally untrue. Most things you've heard about us are."

Can't post Brandon- cuts out every 2 letters. Sorry D:

Good night!

Mikey said, "I was more afraid of getting shot down, not the actual telling you part." He chuckled weakly. "I know, I'm pretty lame..." Then he told her, "With all of the crazy vampire hype, it's hard to know what to believe. I mean, crazy authors tell you one thing, movies say another."
