Yeah. That part was good.

Brandon had caught her with a kiss on the lips very quickly as she came back down, smiling. "I think that you and I should try and get some sleep. You're knackered, and she'll be up later for sure." He lead her back into the bedroom and resumed his former position in bed for the third time that night.

I especially liked when he sang "All you need is love"

Sadie nodded, crawling under the covers next to him. She gently burrowed underneath his arm, resting her face in the crook of his neck. "I love you, Brandon," she whispered. "Just in case I haven't told you enough today." She smiled slightly, closing her eyes.

I thought you might. I thought of you while he was singing it, actually.

"You never have to tell me you love me for me to know you do," Brandon whispered in reply, kissing her hair. "But thank you. I love you, too." He wrapped his other arm around her and closed his eyes. But he didn't fall completely asleep. He knew waking up later would be harder if he did, but this was better than no sleep at all. Not that it really mattered; vampires could go without sleep for weeks providing they'd fed properly.

YAY!!! KFB ftw!

I still can't believe it's 2010. No way.

Sadie lay there for a while, still not used to the absence of the baby inside of her. But eventually, she drifted into a light sleep, curling up against Brandon. She was glad she could do that again. She had missed it.

About two or three hours later, Sadie jolted out of bed, hearing the crying of Cosette. She went into Cosette's room quickly, gently pulling the infant up and out of her crib. "What is it, honey? Oh-- your diaper needs changing, huh? And you're probably hungry, too." She cradled Cosette as she went over to the changing table, then started to undo the baby's pajamas.

Of course, Cosette ended up screaming to high heaven once Sadie did that.

I know. A whole new decade.. Wow.

Brandon was right behind her. He thought about it, and for the most part, he reckoned that one of them could handle it every time-- unless she needed feeding and he had gone to check up on her, anyway. He'd wait a few more times to see whether suggesting that was a good idea. "Can I help you with anything?" he asked her.

I have to wonder what kinds of crazy things will happen this decade.

Sadie said, "Would you mind throwing the dirty diaper away for me? I hate to ask, but she's squirming like a worm, so I need to keep my hands on her." She quickly turned back to Cosette, and finished changing her diaper. "I know, honey, I know." She said to the baby, rubbing her stomach. She then sat down in the rocking chair, and started feeding the baby. She yawned as she did so, afraid that she might fall asleep while feeding Cosette. But she knew Brandon would make sure she didn't.

Hmm.. Plenty, I'm sure. I can't believe I'll be 25 by the end of the next one..

I'll be back later. Gavin and Stacey is on, THE FINAL EPISODE O:

"Of course I can," Brandon said putting it in a bag before throwing it away. "Sadie, next time, I'll just get up, okay? Unless she's hungry, I can handle it," he told her.

Okie! Talk to you later!

Sadie said, "But Brandon, I don't want you to have to get up every time. We could.. rotate turns. That way, we'll both get some form of sleep, okay?" She gently rubbed Cosette's back, humming. "We also need to figure out a way to get blood for her."

"That's fine. Just as long as you get some sleep, though." Brandon came over from the changing table and said, "We've got blood bags in another fridge downstairs. At some stage I'll get one up here, too, so we don't have to keep going downstairs."

Sadie sighed with relief, a soft smile forming on her lips. "That's good. I'm glad we don't have to go through a major ordeal to get it... we don't, do we?" She tilted her head to the side questioningly, while resting Cosette on her chest, patting her back softly.

"No, I don't think so. There's plenty in there, last I checked, because we don't use them unless there's an emergency," Brandon said, smiling reassuringly at her. "I'm prepared for just about everything, don't you worry."

Cosette burped, although it was more like a hiccup than anything. She then yawned, sniffled, and cuddled close to Sadie, quickly falling asleep once more.

Sadie quietly got up, and put Cosette back in her crib. She yawned herself, then said to Brandon, "Let's get back to bed. I'm beat."

Sadie nodded, getting into bed and burrowing into his arms. "Okay," she said, her voice getting softer and softer. "But... I'll feel bad if... you..." But before she had even finished her sentence, she was fast asleep.

Brandon smiled to himself and tried to fall back into a light sleep again, which he resumed within a few minutes. And he kept that up for another few hours until Cosette started crying again, luckily only needing a nappy change before she fell back to sleep on his chest and he could put her back into her crib before heading to bed again.

Sadie had awakened when Cosette started crying, but she remembered that she told Brandon that she wouldn't get up. Besides that, her muscles were very sore from labor, so it hurt to get up and do a lot. She would have to take some pain killers in the morning.

Sadie shook her head. "No no, I want to help too. I have to start getting used to this. I'll be fine, baby, don't worry about it, okay?" She buried her face in the front of his shirt, sighing with content,.

"Are you sure? Not even just this once?" he insisted. He felt bad knowing that he was quite easily able to get up and tend to the baby, yet Sadie was so tired and sore, and the next time she was expecting him to stay in bed.

"I'm positive." She told him, pulling back slightly to look up at him. "Besides, if she's hungry, I'll have to get up to feed her again."
