I generally manage to keep myself amused by playing guitar and piano all day long when I've got a boring day ahead.

"The whole house awake, actually. I wonder how long it'll be before we get told to move," Brandon chuckled. He took his hand away now, as if that may, for whatever reason, get the baby to calm down a little bit.

Sadie laughed again, then slowly pulled herself out of bed. "Mmmm.... I'm starving. I think I'll go whip something up for breakfast. Want anything, babe?" She stretched slowly, because her back has been strained lately with all of the baby weight.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

I do that, too, actually xD

Brandon got out of bed. "You shouldn't be going anywhere to get your own breakfast, let alone mine," he said, taking her hand, because holding her didn't exactly work all that well anymore. "See if you can get even a quick ten minutes of sleep, and let me get you something," he suggested.

Sadie sighed slightly, and smiled up at him. "Baby, I know I told you that you could spoil me. But I don't want to be a bother." She started to leave the room, and go down the stairs, very carefully.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Woo! Les Mis!

"It wouldn't be a bother," Brandon replied, though he didn't say any more on it. He helped her down the stairs very gently, facing her, a few steps down every time as he descended them backwards. At the bottom, he crouched down and said, simply to her stomach, "When are you coming, baby? It's killing me."

It's one of my new must-see shows. I've been listening to the music, and already I love it.

Sadie laughed and ruffled Brandon's hair. "The baby knows that it's worth waiting for. Don't you?" She said, now looking down at her stomach and rubbing it gently. She descended the last couple of stairs, then wandered to the kitchen.

Please don't say Susan Boyle. xD

Brandon chuckled and followed into the kitchen. "That's fair, but you can't tell me you're not even in the slightest a little bit impatient?"

haha, no xD. Although I do like Susan Boyle. My friends have been like, "LES MIS!" And then one of my teachers suggested that I sing something from the show for one of my college auditions. I'd like to sing either "On My Own" or "I Dreamed a Dream."

Sadie said, "Of course I am, silly! But I've decided to let things go their course. What more can I do?" She smiled at him, and started making scrambled eggs.

"You never know, it's part vampire. Who knows what it might understand if I talk to it," Brandon laughed quietly. "I'm not good at waiting anymore. I used up all my patience waiting for you."

Sadie laughed again, still cooking the eggs. "Well, I can never be sure, I'm not that smart of a young woman." With her free hand, she took one of his, and placed it on her stomach.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

I need to see the whole thing, actually.

He kissed her gently. "Don't be silly, you are clever. Besides academics aren't everything, you know. I couldn't care less if you didn't have a clue about a lot of things." He smiled as he felt the baby pushing against his hand.

Same here. It's become one of the shows I want to be in xD Just based on the music.

Sadie smiled up at him, and said, "I really do think that the baby will be here soon, though. Who knows." She concentrated on the eggs, when Prudence ran into the house, out of breath. "A... letter..." She held out a brown envelope to Sadie. "It's them."

Sadie opened the seal, and took out a worn piece of paper, with messy writing. Her eyes scanned the writing, and her eyes filled with tears.

"Dear Sadie,

I figure by now you already know who this is from. I'm sorry, but I can't let you fall prey to the monsters anymore. I'm coming, and I'm going to take you home. Where you belong. With me, and the people who TRULY love you. He's using you, I could see it in his eyes when I first met him. And my friends all agree that you're in danger, and not only you, but any other humans nearby. We'll be waiting in the main square, tonight. You will come, as will the rest of the filthy leeches. And we'll settle this.

PS: We'll figure out what to do with the vermin inside of you. We'll help you."

Brandon had watched her read it with anxious eyes. He tried his best to hug her when she started to cry, and scanned through the note quickly. "Werewolves.." he whispered.

Ahh, I have to go to the dentist. Back in a bit.

Sadie buried her face in his shirt, silent. "It's tonight... I have to go, but I'll go on my own. None of you should get hurt. If living without all of you is what I have to do, to keep you safe... then I'll do it."

They kept putting off my appointments. I haven't been in about four years because of it. So, naturally, I wasn't expecting a brilliant verdict xD

But, apparently, my teeth are amazing =D

Brandon frowned. "There is no way I'm letting you go there alone, Sadie. None of us are going to let you go by yourself. He wants us all there, and we're all going." He hugged her protectively. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you, I swear it. And don't argue. It's what's best for you, and the baby, as well."

Sadie looked up at him sadly. "Brandon, I can't put you at risk, or your family. I don't want you to go. I don't want them to go. If any of you get hurt, I'd go crazy!" She took his hands in her own, and kissed them. "Please... please..."

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Yup. I admit, I was scared of the dentists for the first time in my life xD

"Sadie, you can't fight them off. We can. And, if it means I get hurt, then I'm fine with that. Please just accept that we all have to-- and want to-- be there to protect you. Don't think about me. Just think about the baby,okay?" He squeezed her hands in his. "Please trust me."

Sadie sighed and replied, "How can I not think about you? You're my whole world, Brandon. I love you both so much, you don't know what losing you would do to me. And how would I be able to take care of the baby without you?"

 

[KERFUFFLE]

I like this guy, too. He was the first one I ever had, and now he came back, so that was good

He shook his head. "You think I don't know what it would feel like for you to lose me? It would be the same as if I ever lost you," he told her. "I just can't let you go alone, baby. They'll hurt you."

Sadie gently wrapped her arms around him, teary eyed once more. "I love you so much," she whispered. "And nothing will ever change that. Not even if I die." She looked up at him, and gently caressed his face.
