I'm so tired. But I'm glad it's almost thanksgiving break. =D

Sadie positively beamed at that, burying her face in the crook of his neck and shoulder. "This is so comfortable..." She murmured, moving so she was slightly next to him. "This is just one of the reasons why I love living with you."

"Well, I try and make it comfortable for you. I got rid of that spartan bed of nails I had before you came," Brandon laughed, pulling her closer to him yet.

Sadie laughed quietly, pulling the covers over them. "I'd still stay with you, even if your bed was filled with needles and pins." She stroked his cheek idly, resting her chin on his collarbone.

Sadie smiled at him. "I agree completely. But I bet the others are wondering where we've gone to." She cuddled close, sighing softly. "Do we have to get up?"

Brandon hugged her to his chest tightly. "Well, I suppose it's not the most polite thing-- that is, if they're all still here. But honestly, if polite means skipping out on this, I'd much rather be rude," he chuckled.

Sadie laughed, kissing him briefly. Eventually, she got up, and fixed herself up, then sat on the bed, waiting for Brandon to get up. "We'd better go check on the others..."

"I love you, but you can be such a fun spoiler sometimes," Brandon joked, slipping out of bed and finding his clothes. When he was changed, he pulled her into his arms. "Just one question before we go downstairs. Sadie, honestly.. How much to you usually think about the fact that I'm a vampire? Or, I mean, how does it affect the way you see me?" He'd just thought to ask, but he didn't know what had brought it along.

Finally. Break time!

Sadie said, "I don't really think about it much anymore. I mean, I've become accustomed to it, you know? And, frankly, I could care less whether you were a vampire or not. It's you I fell in love with, not the fact that you're a vampire."

I wish I could say the same.

Brandon smiled. "You know, I'm so glad you said that.. I just thought I should tell you how you've made me feel so different about myself. Less like the creature I despised myself for being. Sometimes I even forget I am what I am. It's amazing to me how you do that."

I've needed this break. Last night, I stayed up basically all night, writing a paper/ project thing. It sucks.

So I'm running on a super low amount of sleep.

Sadie kissed him gently, then smiled up at him. "I just look at things a different way from everyone else. Because inside, you're like everyone else, with hopes and dreams, and the desire to be loved. And I've always seen that person that you truly are. That's the man I love, and who I want to spend the rest of my days with."

I know how you feel ): Just don't work yourself too hard. I did that with my art and I got sick because of it.

"And that's just one of the reasons I love you. You're not put off by what I am, but you don't take advantage of me, either," Brandon said. "You know, it was hard to be accepted, especially in the first years of me being changed.. I've lost a lot from it.. And now I have you, and that's made up for all of it."

For now, I'm just kicking back and relaxing. It's great to not have to worry about homework right now.

Sadie gently held his face in between her hands, rubbing her thumbs against his cheeks. "I'm glad that I get to be the one who brings something good back to your life. It gives me a purpose."

It was morning a good few months later, and Brandon was laying on the bed with Sadie, rubbing her stomach gently. It had seemed much more real that they were actually having a baby when they could see it was there. He pushed all the thoughts of what else the fact that she was heavily pregnant could mean, he didn't want to worry.

I slept in today. And it was wonderful! <3

Sadie yawned, not having gotten much sleep the night before. "The baby kept me up all night," she told him, as she felt the pressure of a kick against her stomach. The baby was kicking and moving all night. "The doctor said that it could be the next couple of weeks... when the baby is born."

He smiled softly, and kissed her cheek. "You should have gotten me up if you couldn't sleep. I'd rather sit awake with you than sleep while you're not getting any," he told her.

lol, yeah. But today's been relatively boring.

Sadie said, "I'd rather you get your sleep while you still can, before the baby comes and keeps us both awake all night." She laughed quietly, then tensed up as the baby kicked again.
