I've had a cold for two weeks straight.. It's just about gone now, though.

"My thoughts exactly," Brandon said, taking Sadie's hand. "Thanks you guys," he smiled gratefully at Prudence, Lucy and Jude. He took her through to the living room. "Still think you'll survive nine months of fuss?" he chuckled.

Mine just started. It sucks! My throat hurts, and I'm either stuffed up, or running like a faucet!

Lucy, Jude, and Prudence got to work on cleaning the kitchen. They really didn't mind. Sadie had taken care of them in their times of need, and she'd let them live at her place. It was time they do the same for her.

Sadie laughed and said, "I think I'm going to enjoy the fussing. The cramping, weight gain, sickness, and moodiness, I won't enjoy." She sat down on the couch, and gently pulled Ysi onto her lap. Quietly, she hummed, braiding the little girl's hair.

-getwellsoonhugfromTazzy-bear!-

Hope you feel better soon!

"If you think you'll enjoy the fussing, why won't yet let me fuss over you all the time?" Brandon asked, chuckling. "I do feel bad, though. I don't have to go through any of that.."

-hug has been intercepted!- =D

Thank you!

Sadie said, "Well, because I normally feel bad when people do a lot for me. Because then I feel like I owe them. But... in this case, it's not just for me. It's for the baby too. And I would do anything for the baby." Sadie then tied a ribbon at the end of Ysi's braid, to make it stay in place. "There we go!"

You're welcome :)

Ysi grinned. "Thanks, Sadie! It's pretty!" she said.

Brandon put an arm around Sadie and kissed her cheek. "Alright. Well, I'm going to make the most of it, then," he smirked slightly. He looked at Ysi in Sadie's lap, and thought about how, in nine months time, they would have their own child with them, and things would be a lot like this. He was excited, to say the least.

Ugh. I need to find the thermometer. But I have no idea where it is. Curses!

Sadie kissed the top of Ysi's head. "You're welcome, sweetie." She held the girl close, grateful that, even if she hadn't gotten pregnant, she would always have this little one. In fact, before today, she thought that Ysi would be the only child that she would help take care of. And she was happy with that. But now, Ysi would have someone closer to her age, and she could make a new companion. And Sadie had always loved babies.

We don't own a thermometer. We use the magical instruments known as hands xD

Brandon sat quietly for a moment, thoughtful. Then, he said, "Do you want it to be a boy or a girl?" He knew it made no difference to him what it was, and, in fact, he didn't even really want to know until it was born.

xDDDD

I'm digging that logic!

Sadie said, "I don't actually care. Plus, I don't plan on finding out myself until it's born." She rocked Ysi gently from side to side, smiling softly.

Well, it appears to work xD

"Oh, I'm glad you won't have to keep the secret from me, then. I don't want to know, either," Brandon smiled and held her closer. "Hopefully I won't sense it and ruin it."

My hands are cold, though, so I don't really tell people to trust my logic xD

"Well, you were able to keep from sensing that I was pregnant until today. So maybe you'll be able to keep it up. Or, at least, I hope you will." She said quietly, still cuddling Ysi close to her.

That's true :L

"That's a good point," he said. "But, then again, it's so tiny I can barely sense it now, it might get harder as time passes. But I will try, anyway." He paused again. "Are you at least feeling a little better now?"

But oh well! For people who DON'T have bad circulation in their hands, it works.

Sadie nodded eagerly. "I am feeling much better." She told him, resting her head on his shoulder. "And I don't think it's impossible to keep the presence hidden. At least, not for you. You can do anything, I know it."

People such as myself, then.

I'll be back in about two hours, the X Factor's on.

"Good," he kissed her hair and then just held her lovingly. "Like I said, I'll try. I can block out your thoughts and your energy pretty much all the time, so I might be able to do it." He was quiet after that, just in thought about the whole morning.

Okay! I might head off anyway. I'm feeling pretty awful right now. It probably won't be for a while, though.

Sadie smiled up at him. "You know you're everything I've dreamed of, right? I know, I don't normally get all hokey and stuff. Maybe it's my hormones going crazy. But that's really how I feel. In fact, you're even more than I've ever dreamt of. And that's a pretty big deal."

That's fine :)

What Sadie said sounds somewhat like poetry xDDD

He smiled and gazed down at her lovingly. He kissed her on the lips briefly, but tenderly. "Every word you say means so much to me, Sadie.. Today I can't describe any of the emotions I've felt surrounding you," he said softly. "And I love you with all my heart and more, if only that was as much as you deserve."

I'm feeling somewhat better today. =)

Oh noes! She spoke in rhyme! xD

Sadie rested her head on his shoulder, becoming silent. Now she couldn't help but wonder about what was going to happen to her, in the future. There were so many complications she had to think of, so many things they would have to get ready before the baby arrived. And, deep down, she was scared she wasn't going to be a good mother.

Sorry, I was watching a movie :)

That's good!

Brandon was quiet, too. He could feel she was troubled about something-- though not so far that he had any idea as to what. Ysi hopped off Sadie's lap-- without the attention span to sit for a long time in silence. "What's up, baby?" he asked, stroking her cheek.

I almost had no voice when I went to sing at an elementary school on Tuesday xD

I was Hannah Montana

Sadie sighed, and looked up at him. "I'm scared of what could happen to me... or the baby," she whispered. "And... I'm scared that I won't be a good mother. I mean.... I was never much of a baby sitter when I was younger, and now I'm going to have a baby. I just want to be a good mother to our child."

Awh Dx

Still.. Hannah Montana. I'm digging that xD

Brandon pulled her closer to him, resting one hand on her stomach subconsciously. "I know you don't have to be scared about being a good mother, Sadie. You're so great with Ysi, and I promise we'll both learn how to be good parents along the way," he told her, kissing her temple delicately. "And as for any complications, you know I'll do whatever I can to make sure we know how to give both of you the best chance. I may have to change you at some point, in the near future perhaps, but I'm willing to do it."

I mean, the kids KNEW I wasn't the real deal, but they still had fun.

It was a great way to get out of class! xD

Sadie tried to smile, but despite his reassuring words, the fears were still nagging at her. She had another life to worry about now, it wasn't just her anymore. And she also had the sinking feeling that, since everything was coming together, soon, something bad was going to happen. She didn't know if she was the only one who felt that way, but it was quite clear to her. Plus, she knew someone who would not be happy that she was pregnant, especially with a vampire baby. She decided not to relate this suspicion to anyone, but what she didn't know was that Prudence had the same suspicion.
