It was like that when we did HSM. All the little kids were running around in the foyer afterwards shouting, "I want Troy's autograph! And Gabriella's!!"

So funny.

Speaking of musicals, I have a "starring moment as a hunter"! Guess from the song..

"They loaded a wagon right onto the ship. Out over the ocean and ooh, what a trip! Rolling and tossing and sick as could be!"

.. *Moment occurs* xD

Brandon sighed. "Is there nothing I can do to at least make you feel a little better? I don't want you to be afraid.." he said softly, playing idly with a few strands of her hair. Of course, beneath it all, he couldn't help but think about all the things that could happen, they were stuck there, at the back of his mind. She would tell him otherwise, but he knew that if things got so bad that ultimately only one of them could be saved, he would do everything in his power to save her first. There could be other babies, but there could never be another Sadie.

Sadie shook her head slightly, the smile on her face now looking slightly pained, grieved. "No, love, I'm afraid not. Just... don't worry too much about me being nervous. I mean, you know... first baby jitters and all that." She chuckled slightly, but it was a strained sound, and nervous. She looked over at Prudence, who was staring gravely out of the window.

Prudence knew exactly who wasn't happy with the love between Sadie and Brandon. And she knew that this person would not be pleased when Prudence confirmed that yes, Sadie was pregnant. What made matters worse was that it was someone the group cared about deeply. Already this person had been conspiring against the other vampires, but this person would not hurt Prudence: she had earned their friendship. But this person assumed that the other vampires were a threat. And their mind would not be changed.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Indeed xDD Mr. Carey said, "Now, I haven't had any hunters volunteer for this part but, if anyone wants to put themselves forward, I'd be more than happy to put them up for it." So Lizzy shouted from the other end, "Go on, Tazz!!!" So I agreed to it xD

Brandon frowned, feeling that both Prudence and Sadie knew something that was troubling them, and he didn't need any superhuman senses to see that. "Would one of you care to explain what is going on?"

I always thought that part was so funny! Plus, people will remember you! =D

And you get to ham it up with that shocked/disgusted expression. Yes!

Sadie looked at him, then looked away, saying nothing. She couldn't bring herself to say it. In fact, she just wanted to push it from her mind, to worry about it no longer. She hated the fact that someone she knew, because of jealousy, would wish ill will towards her new found family, her boyfriend, and her baby. She didn't know whether it was certain or not, but her gut feelings were telling her to be wary.

Prudence said, "It's nothing I want to discuss here, not with the little one here. And I don't want to alarm your family, Brandon, without just cause. There is just something troubling me, but I hope I can smooth things over. Until I can be certain, don't fret." She looked over at Lucy. Lucy looked at Prudence, and nodded tensely.

"And I'll help Prudence in any way I can."

When Lucy spoke, Sadie's feelings were confirmed. She knew exactly what was going on, and she knew that for Lucy to get involved was a major sacrifice for the young woman. Sadie would be grateful to Lucy for that.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

That's what I thought. What did you use as.. well, the puke? Someone suggested baked beans, until I reminded them that I still had to be there for the other half of the show xDD

It's going to be a great moment, though! Even better than Sharpay getting a creme brulee in her face in HSM xD

Does Brandon know this person? I'm trying to figure out who it is xD

It didn't put him at ease much-- in fact, he had even more questions than ever before--, but he was keeping quiet, for everyone's sake. He just sighed and nodded, "Alright, well, I'm sure.. Whatever it is you have to solve.. I'll be grateful for everything." He put his head back, looking up at the ceiling, and thought about how quickly the excitement had changed so quickly to an atmosphere so tense.

And yes, Brandon does know this person. But this person hasn't had much importance yet.

Sadie said to Prudence, "It's not me I'm worried about... it's the baby. And... and Brandon, and his family. For all I know, that person and their friends just want to get rid of the vampires."

"They think you're in danger." Prudence said cooly. "They think that Brandon and his family are merely out for your blood, and they just want a new addition to what they call their "collection." Meaning, the others just think Brandon and his family want the baby as an added minion, and that they're taking advantage of the fact that you're human, and can bear children"

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Aww, that's a bit disappointing xD

I see... I think I have an idea, but I won't say who, because it's probably wrong xD

Brandon looked shocked by this prospect. Someone close to Sadie and her friends believed this, and whats more, they were afraid that this person would act on that opinion? He couldn't believe it. He said nothing, just sat there in shock and thought.

You can say. I won't care if it is right or wrong.

Sadie said, "That's sick! Why would they believe something like that!? Brandon loves me, I love him and his family. I'm here of my own free will!"

"That's not what they think. And... they think that because Brandon and his family are vampires. They've never met Brandon's family, and this person hasn't even spent much time with Brandon at all."

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Haha, okay xD

Nah, I'll keep on guessing quietly to myself.

Brandon was still in silent fury. Eventually he said, "Would you have any idea how this person might plan to.. Dispose of me and my family, and our baby?"

My favorite character in the whole show, though, was our Cat in the Hat. He was AMAZING!

Prudence said, "This person has a whole gang of friends. Powerful ones. They'd probably try to isolate Sadie, then attack your family in a sort of a duel. While they may fight tough, they don't fight dirty. They would expect you to do that. And disposing of the baby... well, they would probably try to convince Sadie to get rid of it before it was born, or they would destroy it after it was born.

Our Grinch is hilarious. James as the Cat.. Well, I'm not really sure how good he is right now.

"You're sure you're close to this person? That's sick.." Brandon looked upset now, rather than angry-- though he was both. "And there's nothing I can do about it because if I see this person, it'll just turn into something nasty more quickly.." That was the worst part of it. Knowing that he couldn't protect Sadie and their baby until whatever they anticipated actually happened.

Our cat did a cartwheel at one point, and rolled backwards, while speaking in slow motion. he was HILARIOUS.

"Yes, I'm sure. This person never had a violent tendency at all... until Brandon came into the picture." Prudence said grimly. "And I wouldn't expect anything to happen... well, for months really. At least, not until Sadie is showing a lot more. And I do mean a lot. They'll probably wait until closer to the time when she'll be due."

"And what do you suggest we do when or if something happens? Make an agreement? Or fight with them like they'd ask us to?" he asked.

He was an all around amazing person. He was super smart, really nice, an awesome actor and singer... gah, I wish he was still in our drama program

Prudence sighed. "That I don't know. More likely than not, they'll end up fighting you, even if you do make an agreement. I would fight on the defensive though. If you fight offensively, it'll give them more of a reason to destroy you."

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Our cat is a bit up himself. An "I'm good and I know it" kind of person. A lot of people are, actually. Sadly.

"That won't be the easiest thing for me to do, you know.. You'd be on the offensive you had to protect Rita, wouldn't you?" Brandon asked her. "I won't say I won't try, but it won't be easy."

It was AMAZING! I made a ton of new friends, and I love the school!

It's in downtown chicago, and it's sooooo pretty!

"Well, if I hadn't broken up with Rita, then yes. I recently thought things through, and decided I could live my life that way anymore. I'm now officially heterosexual. But that's not the point. You wait for them to attack first. Don't make the first move, they'll use it against you."

Brandon coughed in embarrassment. "Oh.. I'm sorry.. I.. I didn't realise," he said. Continuing on the fight subject, he said, "Okay, well, I'll listen to you. You know what you're doing.."

Prudence laughed about the awkward situation. "No worries. I haven't really told many people about it, anyways. But yeah, offensive fighting is a no-no. Make sure that the rest of your family knows that. No hidden weapons, either. They want to make sure the playing field is even. Now, Sadie-- Sadie?" Sadie wasn't in the living room anymore.

Sadie was curled up on her and Brandon's bed, rubbing her stomach. She was sobbing, begging for something, anything, to be able to keep the baby, and her new family safe. She would gladly die for them. She would willingly give herself up, just to save them.

 

[KERFUFFLE]

Brandon looked at the empty seat beside him. The conversation had meant her leaving had gone unnoticed. He got to his feet and said, "Excuse me for a minute.." He ran upstairs, and checked the bathroom first, in case she'd just been feeling sick again. Then he heard her sobbing from the other end of the hall. He went into their room and closed the door behind him, looking deeply upset, and crouched by the bed, taking her hand. He hadn't realised until now that there were tears in his own eyes. He was afraid now, he just hadn't let himself show it in front of Prudence. He now sat on the bed and pulled her into his arms, holding her protectively. "Baby.. Please.. Don't cry.." he said, between sobs of his own.

Sadie kept sobbing, burying her face in the front of his shirt. "Brandon, I'm so scared... please... don't get hurt, don't die, don't leave me! I'd give my soul, I'd give my life, to save you and our child. I love you so much, I don't want you to get hurt! I'd never be able to live without you!" Her sobs became less controlled, the fear ringing in her voice now. As well as the anguish.
