"What is?" Damien asked, finishing one slice. He started to eat another, as he was very hungry.

"Oh please. I've run away with a vampire who kidnapped me earlier after being attacked by a werewolf. And now I'm sat here eating pizza waiting to show up on the news."

 

[YellowJedi]

"Well if you put it that way, you're right. But maybe you should focus on the positives..."

 

[tamaturtle]

"To be honest, I'm not seeing any other than the fact I'm alive..."

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien sighed. "You're with me. That's a positive." he thought for a second. "Well at least for me it is."

 

[tamaturtle]

"I guess it's safer than me being alone..." Jessica sighed, picking a slice of pepperoni off her pizza and eating it. "Especially after everything I know now..."

 

[YellowJedi]

Eon nodded, finishing another slice.

 

[tamaturtle]

Jessica was just about to eat another slice when she heard a phone ring. "Well, it's certainly not mine... you have a phone?"

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien frowned, and walked to the kitchen to pick up the phone.

 

[tamaturtle]

"About time." A boy's voice came from the other end of the phone. "Anyway, here's what I've been told to pass on: revenge tonight."

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien looked over at Jessica. "I might be a little late, but okay."

 

[tamaturtle]

Jessica was oblivious to the phone call as it continued. "How come, dude? This is the big one!"

 

[YellowJedi]

"I have other matters to attend." Damien said quickly, before hanging up.

 

[tamaturtle]

Jessica spun around, frowning. "What was that all about?" She asked, finishing off another slice of pizza.

 

[YellowJedi]

"The war is starting tonight." Damien said calmly.

 

[tamaturtle]

Jessica gave a small jolt, freezing. "Y-you serious?!"

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien nodded, sitting back down. "Listen, if I don't come back tonight, I want you to hide here until the war is over, then get to safety."

 

[tamaturtle]

"A. A war doesn't just last a night, and B. Where exactly is 'safety' in a war zone?" Jessica scowled, although she looked a bit scared.

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien shrugged. "I don't know. I just don't want you getting hurt, and I'm going to make sure you're okay."

 

[tamaturtle]

"...do you actually have a basement I could hide in?" Jessica asked. "When are you going?"
