Near left a messege on Mello's phone "If you don't answer this within the next 3 hours I'll throw away this GIANT chocolate bar I bought you! Evidently you will call back because of the chocolate." He then texted Sakura "Call me gdi I'm going to the building your at (Don't ask)". He then sent a text to L "I GOT YOU CAKE SO CALL ME NOW"

He smirked. "That'll get their attention." He thought to himself.

"Yes I did," Matt said, slipping his DS back into his pocket. "Do I have to prove it again?"

"I would win," L said simply, staring at Sakura. He pushed the chains around on the desk with one finger, chewing the thumb of his other hand

Mello laughed. "Only if you ant your a** beat by Tala again."

Sakura leaned back in her chair. "No, I would win... And I will win."

Light was still passed out on the floor, curled up into a ball.

"You ran away like a girl as well," Matt said, shaking his head. "Fine, we're equal."

"You wouldn't," L said, shaking his head. He turned away from Sakura, picking up the handcuffs again.

"Fine... I guess that's fair enough..." Mello said, letting out a small sigh.

Sakura stared at her computer screen with a small smirk. "Yes, I would."

 

[.chasm.]

"You just don't want to be second," Matt muttered, folding his arms.

L kept staring at his computer screen, but with his free hand he picked up one side of the handcuffs and locked it around Sakura's wrist.

"You're right, being second to the f*****g little sheep is already bad enough." Mello growled, pulling out a chocolate bar.

Sakura looked down at her now handcuffed wrist. "What's this for?"

"You don't want to be third, then," Matt said, smirking and unfolding his arms to prod Mello again.

"I said that I would do anything to win," L said, chewing on his thumb. "This is something I'm willing to do." He picked up the other cuff and locked it around his own wrist

Mello didn't respond, and instead tore the wrapper off the chocolate bar hastily. He then took a few quick and aggravated bites.

Sakura lifted up her wrist with the cuff around it. "Alright, if you're willing to do this, so am I."

 

[.chasm.]

"Don't take it out on the chocolate," Matt muttered, walking into the main room.

"It means that you have to stay by my side," L said, tilting his head. "All the time."

Mello grunted at Matt, following after him.

Sakura nodded. "Alright, that's fine with me, Ryuuzaki."

 

[.chasm.]

"Are you sure you are?" L asked, deciding to take the tactic of being incredibly annoying again. He shook chain. "All day."

Matt stopped dead when he saw the handcuffs. "Wow, Tala, I didn't think you were into that."

Mello's eyes widened and he stepped away from Matt, not wanting to receive any possible blows from Sakura.

Sakura nodded. "Yes, I'm completely fine with-" she cut off, looking at Matt. "I hope you didn't say what I think you said, Matty."

Matt stared at Sakura, then glanced at L and smirked. "I said that I didn't think you were into that stuff, Tala. That's more Mello's style."

Mello looked over at Matt. "This is one thing that makes me better, I'm smart enough not to mess with Tala a second time."

Sakura shot out of her chair, ready to slaughter Matt. She charged forward, pulling L with her. She dived at Matt, tackling him to the ground.

 

[.chasm.]

"You're not be-" Matt was cut off by Sakura tackling him, crashing to the floor and yelling out. "Wow, so now you're into the pain thing, too," he said, coughing. He glanced over at L, who had fallen close to the pair after being pulled across the room.

Mello shook his head, looking down at Matt and Sakura, then over at L.

Sakura growled, simply punching Matt's face and standing up. She brushed herself off and walked over to L, holding her hand out to help him up. "Uhh... Sorry about that."

Matt yelled out, holding his hand up to his face and sitting up. "All I did was say I didn't think you were that..." He trailed off, not wanting to be hit again.

L pushed himself up into a crouching position, staring up at Sakura. "Warn me when you move that fast."

Mello shook his head. "You're a moron Matt. Tala's not gonna take your s**t."

Sakura gave an innocent smile and looked down at L. "Alright..."

"Shut up," Matt muttered, grabbing onto Mello's jacket to pull himself up.

L pushed himself up, shaking his head and untangling the chain from his arm.
