Matt looked up from his game, sitting up quickly. "What?"

L turned his chair back to the screens. "Good. Now we just have to arrange it with Matt and Mello..."

 

[nokotchi]

"Where were you supposed to be in ten minutes?" Sakura asked, heading farther down the corridor.

Mello didn't answer, he was dead asleep.

Matsuda nodded, going over to his chair and sitting down.

 

[.chasm.]

"Uh..." Matt scrambled up and pulled his door open, sticking his head out of the door. "Has it already been ten minutes?"

L rested his chin on his knees and scrolled down on his computer. He glanced down at his hand, shaking the chain.

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura saw Matt. "More like twenty. Now... It seems Mello's asleep. Wake him up and get your ***** in the main room ASAP."

Light shifted slightly when L shook the chain, rolling over onto his side.

 

[.chasm.]

Matt frowned, looking down at his DS. "It can't have been twenty minutes." He walked out of his room and pulled the door shut behind him, still frowning.

L glanced down at Light, lifting the chain up with one hand.

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura turned, walking back to the main room. "It has been around twenty." she told Matt.

Matsuda sat silently in his chair, playing around with a pen.

 

[.chasm.]

"There's no way it's been that long," Matt said, shaking his head. He crossed the hall and kicked on Mello's door. "Mello, get up."

"Tala?" L turned around in his chair, staring as she walked in. "Where are the keys to the handcuffs?"

 

[nokotchi]

Mello groaned. "Go away."

Sakura reached into her pockets. "I believe I have them..." She pulled them out a moment later, holding them out to L. "Why?"

 

[.chasm.]

"Nope," Matt said, kicking the door again. "If you're not out in the next five seconds, I'm coming in."

"I need them." L reached out and took the keys, then slid off his seat and landed on the floor, crouching beside Light.

 

[nokotchi]

Mello groaned, pushing himself up and off his bed. "I'm coming..."

Sakura went to go sit in her chair, scrolling down and seeing a missed call from Near. Shrugging it off, she continued to scroll.

 

[.chasm.]

"Good," Matt yelled, leaning againt the opposite wall and opening his DS again.

L unlocked his side of the handcuffs and pulled them off, then lifted up Light's hand and unlocked them on his side. "Tala?"

 

[nokotchi]

Mello took a moment to straighten out his hair. HE then opened his door, walking out of his room. "C'mon."

Sakura turned to look at L. "Hm?"

Matt pushed himself up off the wall, walking beside Mello. "I'm still better," he muttered.

"The fight still isn't over," L said, staring at Tala. He held up the handcuffs. "I'm planning on using whatever means necessary to win."

 

[nokotchi]

Mello scowled. "No, you're not." he replied through clenched teeth.

Sakura sighed. "Oh really?"

 

[.chasm.]

"Yes I am," Matt said, still playing on his DS. "I already proved it."

L nodded, standing up and climbing back onto his seat. "I just wanted to warn you."

 

[nokotchi]

Mello scoffed. "Ha, how'd you prove it?"

Sakura smirked, turning back to her computer screen. "I'm not going to let you win. I hope you know that."

 

[.chasm.]

"You know how," Matt said, smirking. "I beat you. Well, I woud have done if Tala didn't stop the fight..."

"You don't know how far I can go in a fight," L said, reaching out and pulling his keyboard towards him. "I always win."

 

[nokotchi]

Mello shook his head. "You didn't prove s**t!"

Sakura let out a light laugh. "Well, then this may be your first loss."

 

[.chasm.]

"Yeah I did," Matt said, closing his DS and poking Mello's arm.

L shook his head. "I never lose, and I never will lose."

 

[nokotchi]

"No you didn't" Mello retorted, prodding Matt's chest.

Sakura turned to look over at L again. "Oh? You don't believe I could beat you?"
