"No you can't," L said again, still trying to push Sakura away. "I can get Matsuda to get more cake."

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura placed her hands on L's shoulders once more, still not budging. "Yes, I can. I'll tell everyone to not get any cake for you."

 

[.chasm.]

"I have more authority in this investigation," L said, tilting his head again. "You won't be able to do this."

 

[nokotchi]

"You made me Watari. I have just as much authority as you do." Sakura told L with a grin. "So, I will be able to do this."

 

[.chasm.]

"I'm the head of this investigation," L said, pulling Sakura closer again. "I have more power." He stared at Sakura, pulling her down further so her face was inches away

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura raised her eyebrows. "Oh? I'm sure I could convince the Task Force to not get you cake. Whether you have more power or not."

 

[.chasm.]

"I don't think you could," L said, his eyes still wide and focused on Sakura. "Not Matsuda or Mogi, anyway."

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura met eyes with L. "I'm positive that I could."

 

[.chasm.]

"There's no way you could," L said, staring right ack into Sakura's eyes. "They'd listen to me."

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura smirked, looking straight down at L. "If I threatened them hard enough, they'd listen to me."

 

[.chasm.]

"No they wouldn't," L said again. He finally looked away from Sakura, glancing around the room. "Can I get up now?"

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura shook her head. "Nope, you still haven't said that I won."

 

[.chasm.]

"I won't say that, though," L said, trying to push himself up. "You know that I'm strong. I can pick you up if it it comes to it."

 

[nokotchi]

"Yes, I know that you're strong. I bet you can't get me off though. Go ahead and try." Sakura said with a grin, keeping L's shoulders to the ground.

 

[.chasm.]

L reached up and grabbed Sakura's wrists, trying to pull them away from his shoulders and push himself up at the same time. "You ould always make it easier for me."

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura kept her hands firmly on L's shoulders, refusing to let him win this fight. "Why would I make it easier?"

 

[.chasm.]

L stared at Sakura for a moment, dropping one of his hands and instead holding it to his mouth. "Because you like me." He tilted his head, chewing on his thumb.

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura sighed. "Yes, I do like you... But I still refuse to let you win this."

 

[.chasm.]

L tilted his head to the side, still trying to get up. "Refusing makes it look like you don't like me, though." He chewed on his thumb, pulling his knees up again.

 

[nokotchi]

"Yes, but you know that I like you." Sakura told L, still holding him down.
