Sakura returned to the main room, flopping down on the sofa.

Light tilted his head drowsily.

Matsuda scrambled around, frantically picking up all the papers. "Uh.... It's nothing.... I.. Uh... Like glitter?"

Matt pushed his door open and walked out, going across the hall to Mello's door and banging on it. "Mello, get your a** out of bed."

L walked further into the room. "I know you do, but what were you making?"

Mello groaned. "Go f*** yourself." he retorted, coddling his chocolate plushy.

Matsuda shifted so the papers were behind him. "I wasn't making anything..."

Matt kicked the door, rolling his eyes. "Mello, I said move. Don't make me go and steal the chocolate pudding in the fridge."

"I just saw paper, Matsuda," L said, staring at him. "What were you making?"

Mello jumped up. "You wouldn't dare..."

Matsuda stared up at L. "Nooootthhiinnggg...."

"I would," Matt said, kicking the door again. "So move before I run to the fridge."

"Matsuda," L said, his voice still quiet but slightly harsher. "What were you making?"

Mello sighed, climbing out of his bed with a grunt. "Ughh... I'm still tirreddd."

Matsuda scowled at L. "It's none of your business!"

"Tough," Matt said, pushing the door open. "I'm not going into the main room alone."

"Matsuda," L repeated, holding his hand out for the papers and lifting his other hand to his mouth again.

Mello stretched his arms out. "... And why is that?"

Matsuda shook his head, holding the papers behind himself.

Matt mumbled something under his breath, odd words such as "Sakura" and "beaten-up" easier to hear.

L walked forward again, still holding his hand out and now attempting to grab Matsuda's arm. "Matsuda."

Mello snickered. "Ah. You're afraid of little Sakura? Come on, man up. She can't possibly be THAT strong."

Matsuda swatted L's hand away, guarding the papers.

Light stayed in his spot, not allowing L to pull him forward whatsoever.

Matt flushed, folding his arms. "Okay, you go and annoy her so she beats you up. Then you'll know what it's like."

L stopped dead, mainly due to the fact that the chain wasn't long enough for him to walk any further. "Matsuda. Don't make me kick you."

Mello grinned. "Dare me to?"

Matsuda instantly backed away when he heard L threaten to kick him. One of the papers had slid away from Matsuda and was on the floor in front of L.

"Go ahead," Matt said, rolling his eyes. "Don't complain to me, though."

L crouched down, trying to pull Light forward so he was more comfortable, and picked the paper up. "Matsuda?"

Mello laughed. "Kay."

Matsuda looked guiltily up at L. "... What?"

Matt rolled his eyes again, walking out into the corridor and pulling his DS out of his pocket.

"Matt was only trying to annoy Tala," L said, holding the paper out and chewing on his thumb. "We're not engaged."

Sakura had fallen asleep again, curled up on the sofa.

Mello followed after Matt, a huge grin on his face.

Matsuda looked down at the invitations he had made with a crushed look in his eyes. "O-oh.... Uh... O-okay... I'll just.... Throw these away, I guess..."

Matt opened his DS as he walked into the main room, starting up a game. "Go on then, Mello. I might even pause my game to watch."

L chewed on his thumb, frowning slightly. "Why did you make them?"

Mello smirked, walking up to Sakura and prodding her all around her stomach. He then pulled back abruptly. "Oh, I'm sorry.... That's probably not good at all for the baby..."

Sakura's eyes shot open. "... WHAT did you just say?"

Matsuda crumpled up the papers in his hands, reaching out for the one in L's hands. "No reason..."

Matt smirked, leaning against the doorframe but not ye watching Mello risk his life.

L dropped the paper in Matsuda's hands, still sucking on his thumb. "You're very interested in this," he said, tilting his head.
