Sakura returned to the main room, a toothbrush hanging from her mouth. "Okay, new rule. No coffee."

Aya sighed, moving back from Matt. She threw her cigarette onto the ground, stomping it out and walking back inside without another word.

"Misa," Light growled, ducking away from Misa's hands. "Please, let me finish my work. After, we can do whatever you want, okay?"

"Your aversions all seem to be based around things I like," L muttered, continuing to dab at the coffee puddle with his sleeve.

Matt watched Aya leave, then groaned and ran his hand through his hair.

Misa pouted once more, and instead just curled up on Light's lap and flopped against his chest.

"Oh, poor you," Sakura stared at L and scowled. "Why are you mopping the coffee up with your shirt? Are you really too damnn lazy to get a towel?"

Aya stormed back into the main room, flopping on the couch.

"Misa, it's a bit hard to do my work while you're sitting there," Light told her, shifting slightly.

"Yes," L said, holding his arm up to look at his soaking sleeve. "And my shirt is covered in coffee anyway."

Misa whimpered, clinging tightly to Light's jacket.

Sakura rolled her eyes. "Go change your shirt and get a towel,"

Light rolled his eyes. "Please, Misa. The sooner you get off of me, the sooner my work gets done. The sooner my work gets done, the sooner I can spend time with you. Get how that works?"

"There's no need," L said, lifting his hand and beginning to suck his sleeve.

"Or you spend time with me now and do work later," Misa protested in a high voice.

Sakura rolled her eyes. "L, go change now so I don't throw up once more!"

"Misa, I do not prefer the latter." Light muttered with a large sigh.

L stared up at Sakura, still sucking on his sleeve. "You can't ban me from coffee."

Misa scowled, sitting up. "Why not?"

"So, you want me to get sick?" Sakura asked, folding her arms.

"I want to finish my work sooner than later," Light told Misa. "Now please, let me finish my work!"

"I need coffee to be able to work on the case," L said, turning back to his screen. "Otherwise I can't work at night."

"Let Misa-Misa sit on your lap, then!" Misa whined.

Matt walked back into the main room, hands deep in his pockets. He sat down, staring at the DS that was lying next to him.

"Fair enough..." Sakura said, sighing. "Can you at least keep away from coffee during the day? You can have as much as you want at night."

Light rolled his eyes. "Fine," he muttered, resuming his work with a scowl.

Aya stared at the floor, not looking up when Matt entered.

L nodded once, beginning to type with his free hand. "What specifically do you have aversions to now?"

Matt glanced up at Aya nervously, then looked straight back down at his DS.

"Well, coffee and cake now," Sakura told him. "Your two favorite things..."

Aya didn't look up for even a second, her eyes reflecting anger and confusion.

Sakura smiled slightly and laughed a bit. "I believe it does hate you,"

Sakura grinned. "Or worse..." She paused and leaned closer to L, "Strawberries." she whispered dramatically.

Sakura leaned back up, crossing her arms. "And what if it does happen? What then?"
