Sakura turned back to look up at the monitors, silently wishing for this fight to end soon.

Light let out a satisfied sigh, resting his head in his hands.

L tilted his head, reaching forward and scooping up some more icing.

"Un...I'm gonna go and stay with him," Matt muttered to the girl, motioning towards Light. He pulled himself away again and headed back over to the bar.

Sakura brought her palm to her face, sliding it downward. She wondered if this was a smart move to make. "... Ryuuzaki?"

Light hiccuped and giggled, playing around with a shot glass.

"Yes, Tala?" L said quietly, lifting his hand an sucking the icing off his finger.

Matt hopped up onto the stool next to Light. "You're not having any more, because if you do, you'll throw up in my car."

Sakura looked over at L with a sigh. She stared at him for a few moments. "... You win..."

Light pouted. "Awwwwhhh! You're such a killjoy, Matty..." he pointed at a now drunk Matsuda. "... Just look at him! He's drunker than I am!!!"

Matsuda came stumbling over, a paper in his hand. "She liked me... She gave me her nummbaahh~" he mumbled, waving the paper around.

"I know I do," L said, not looking up at the screens.

"You're both completely trashed," Matt said, rolling his eyes. He held out his hand. "I'll look after that for you, Matsuda. If you end up losing it, we'll never hear the end of it."

Sakura scowled, turning to face her computer. She slightly regretted admitting her defeat.

Matsuda staggered up to Matt, slapping the paper down in his hand. "She liikkeddd meee~"

"On the subject of winning," L said, turning to face Sakura. "Have there been any other cases sent over? I have time to solve some now."

"Of course she did, Matsuda," Matt said, glancing behind the bar at the barmaid. "But you should get some more numbers in case she finds someone else."

Sakura looked over at L and nodded, a scowl still on her face. "There should be some files on your computer of information on a few other cases."

Matsuda shook his head. "Naaawww... I dun wanna!!'

L pulled his laptop over again and opened up a couple of the files. "You'll need to contact a couple of police forces when I've solved them, then."

"Why not?" Matt asked, rolling his eyes. He glanced at the barmaid again, trying to catch her eye

Sakura sighed, turning back to her computer. "Alright."

"Becaauuussee... I don't like any of the other guurrlls here..." Matsuda slurred, plopping down in a barstool next to Light.

L glanced at one of the files. "This shouldn't take that long," he said quietly. He scrolled down the file quickly, chewing his thumb.

"Why don't you like them?" Matt asked, turning back to the drunken pair and rolling his eyes. "You have to talk to at least one other girl."

Sakura grinned when she thought of something. She looked over at L and grabbed hold of the desk, bringing her knees to her chest and spinning herself.

Matsuda shook his head. "You cann't make mee~"

L didn't look away from the laptop until his hand was pulled up. "Tala, what are you doing?"

"Yes I can," Matt said, standing up and grabbing Matsuda's arm. "What if that girl finds someone else and then you're on your own?"

Sakura continued to spin, giggling slightly. "Oh, nothing,"

Matsuda pulled his arm away from Matt. "She wouldn't do thaattt!"

L tried to pull his hand down to his knee again, turning back to the laptop. "I might be able to solve this case within the next hour. We should save it until the morning to tell the police, though."

"How can you be sure?" Matt asked, trying to grab Matsuda's arm again.

Sakura was still spinning around and around. "Okay,"

"Becauussee I asked her ouuuttt.." Matsuda said with a giggle.

L wobbed a bit on his chair, desperatey trying to grab the desk in front of him, then he toppled over and landed on the floor in front of Sakura.

"So?" Matt asked, pulling Matsuda over to the dancefloor. "That does't mean she can't get asked out by someone else."

Sakura stopped spinning and looked down at L, biting her lip to hold back a small smile.

Matsuda scowled and pulled himself from Matt's grip. "She wouldn't say yes to someone after saying yes to me."

Mello was near the edge of the dancefloor, dancing with the girl Matt had abandoned earlier.

L pushed himself up and stared at Sakura. "Why did you pull me over?"

"Matsuda, you're at a club," Matt said, groaning. "It's pretty much a rule that you have to get as many numbers as possible."
