Sakura stood there without saying anything, still trying to get her hand away.

"Later Light," mello said with a smirk, heading to the dance floor.

Light sighed, going over to the bar and sitting down on one of the stools.

"We also can't carry on with surveillence if you don't speak," L said, tiliting his head. "Because we need to talk about the suspects."

Sakura continued to stay silent, beginning to tug L forwards.

Light sighed, downing shot after shot.

L finally gave up and let Sakura pull him forward, lifitng his other hand to his mouth again.

By now, Matt had pulled one of the girls of the group away. He sat in the corner, arms wrapped around her as he kissed her.

Sakura walked into the main room, plopping down in her chair.

Mello was drunk and dancing around on the dance floor, having a great time.

Light was still sitting on the barstool, completely trashed.

Matsuda was still talking with the girl he'd met, buying a shot every once in awhile.

L climbed onto his chain again, still chewing his thumb. "We need to set up a regular time for Wedy to contact us."

Matt pulled away from the girl but stayed close to mutter something to her. She nodded, so he stood up, taking her hand and walking over to the dancefloor

Sakura still didn't say anything, instead leaning forward and beginning to type something up on her computer.

Mello was dancing insanely to the beat, a bottle clutched in his hand.

"We should make it at night, so Light doesn't see," L said slowly, chewing his thumb. "And we can use surveillence then anyway, so Wedy can take a break."

Matt paused on the dancefloor, staring at Mello, then muttered something else to the girl and pulled himself away to walk over to the bar.

Sakura continued to type for a few moments before leaning back in her chair and looking up at the monitors.

Light was slumped over in his barstool, still downing shots.

L shuffled his feet on his chair and huddled up, his arms around his legs. "We should probably switch to watching him now, then."

"Uh...Light?" Matt said, prodding Light's back. "How many shots have you had?" He pulled some mooney out of his pocket and leaned over the bar.

Sakura silently stared up at the monitors, crossing her legs.

Light looked back at Matt. "Oh heeyyyyy, Mattyyyyyy," he slurred. "I dunnoooo... I lost count, hahaaa."

L leaned over and tapped a button on the keyboard, making a couple of the monitors change to their suspect.

Matt raised his eyebrows. "'Matty'?" He turned back to the bartender and quickly told him the two dinks, then looked back at Light. "I thought you said you didn't get completely trashed."

Sakura ran a hand through her hair with a sigh.

Light tilted his head, giggling a bit. "I'm not traashheddd... I'm p-perfectly sober!"

"We need him to make a move before we can take action," L muttered. "Then again, we don't know if he's even the next Kira."

"You're trashed," Matt said, rolling his eyes. "Where's your money?"

Sakura still wasn't acknowledging L's existence in any way, instead simply gazing up at the monitors and following the suspect across the screen.

Light snickered. "It's somewheeerreee... I bet 'chu can't fiindd ittt~"

"We should still consider that Light might say something when he's drunk," L muttered, pulling his keyboard towards him. "Hopefully they're back while he's still drunk."

"I don't want to find it," Matt said, passing his money to the bartender and grabbing the drinks he was passed.

Sakura crossed her arms, casting a quick glance at L.

Light turned to the bartender. "Can I get onee morree, pleaasseeeee?"

"They didn't say when they'd be back," L muttered, resting his chin on his knees.

"Don't you think you've had enough?" Matt asked, starting to walk back to the dancefloor.

Sakura glanced at L once more, sighing.

"Nopee!! I've nevvuuuhhrrr had enouughh." Light slurred, gulping down another shot.

L continued to stare up at the screens, lifting his thumb to chew it again.

Matt walked back over to the girl and passed her the drink, taking a sip of his own. He glanced back at Light, frowning
