"Well, that's some good news... doesn't mean she won't come to get us."

"Yeah, but now it'll be easy to fight her off."

Faylinn was doubtful. "I'm scared, Damien... and what about Ember?"

"I've killed him once, I can easily do it again..." Damien said.

 

[tamaturtle]

"Yeah, it's just... he was my best friend, and he's trying to kill me!"

"Was he your best friend, or was he using you for something?" Damien asked.

"He wasn't using me!" Faylinn protested, looking up at Damien in disbelief. "Why would he do that?"

"I don't know, but if he wasn't why is he attacking you all of a sudden?"

 

[tamaturtle]

"He probably still thinks I tried to kill him! And anyway, isn't he practically owned by the council now? Couldn't they be making him do stuff?"

Damien frowned. "Well maybe you should try and talk to him."

Faylinn shook her head sadly. "What, before he tries to kill one of us again?" She groaned, putting her head in her hands. "It's his fault I'm involved with all this..."

 

[YellowJedi]

Damien pulled Faylinn into a hug. "Don't worry, we'll work this out."

I THINK I've worked out a backstory for Damien and Scarlett...

"God, I hope so." Faylinn whispered, resting her head on Damien's chest. "But I don't see how..."

Lol, oh god, what is it? xD

Damien frowned. "We will, we won't be bothered anymore by them."

Right. *cracks knuckles* Damien and Scarlett used to be companions (maybe even romantically). But then Damien started getting a taste for annoying the council and Scarlett didn't like it, but went along with it for him until she felt it was getting out of hand and confronted him. Massive fight ensues which the council intervene in to try and catch them both, Damien flees, leaving Scarlett to die and/or be picked up by the council... dear god.

Sounds pretty close to what I had in mind, but how does Rain come in? xD, He'll probably be coming back soon as a good guy cause I'm making another character.

Eventually Faylinn pulled away, sighing and brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Really... we should get moving. I doubt I can just go home..."
