It's a euphemism for sex, right? xD

Suzanne nodded as she listened, taking the occasional sip of the glass of water she'd gotten while Christien and Elaina had been dancing. "More than I could ever understand, I'm sure," she laughed. "I was never much good at Science.. I wasn't really interested in much else except literature, actually. I liked History, too, I guess. And drama, because it ties in with French, of course. And definitely, if you're interested, you should come and see it. Maybe while you're staying here Christien can show you around and meet me there?" She had smiled to herself while she talked about her and Christien. She barely knew Elaina, but somehow she just knew, in the way they had both talked about each other, and she observed, in the way they looked at each other and held each other, that their relationship was serious, and far beyond her understanding. "I trust you with him. He's my best friend, and I just want him to have someone he really deserves and deserves him. He really loves you, I can tell."

Yep - basically, I guess. Haha

"I'm absolutely terrible at History; I can't remember dates for my life! I somehow got an A all year though, but mostly I just guessed on all the multiple choice." Elaina laughed a bit as well. "And yeah! That sounds great! I'm sure Chrisiten will want to visit you too so it'd work out perfectly." She had glanced over at Christien while she said this, admiring him for a few lingering seconds before turning back to Suzanne. "And I really hope he does. I can't even imagine life without him. Is that abnormal?" When she'd asked this, she meant was it abnormal in relevence to the rather short time they'd known each other.

That's really funny xD

Got any other funny slang phrases for me?

"Remembering dates isn't always the most important thing about History. I got mine wrong all the time but if you have the knowledge it doesn't matter. That's the way I see it, anyway," Suzanne said, shrugging a little. "I just found it really interesting and I love to wonder 'What would things be like if that hadn't happened?'." She had watched her watch him until she spoke again. "I've never been in love like that. But I always think that if you know you love them and don't want to leave them at all, then you would know early on.. I think it's different for everybody. But if you're comfortable with it then noone can tell you it's wrong."

Hmm I'll think about it. Haha xD

"Skankasaurus"? It's a skank who's so ugly people reffer to her as a dinosuar.

"The only part of History I'm semi-familiar with is the Civil and Revolutionary wars, of America, of course. Something about the weighing sadness of it all helps me, which is also terrible. I certainly have copied a few worksheets in my time." Elaina would have never, ever in a million years admitted to her parents --Mrs. and Mr. Perfect-- that she'd cheated on a few occasions. They'd probably lock her away in a tower somewhere; that's how upset they'd be. But, honestly, everyone cheated or 'shared information' in their life at one point; not that it would help her argument against her parents in any way. "Well, you're very pretty, Suzanne, I'm sure you'll be in love some time soon." She smiled genuinly at her and continued, "I'm very sure my parents will try to tell me it's wrong, but, I'm actually, for once in my lfie, ready to argue with them. I guess that's what happens when you're in love - you do stuff that you'd never imagine yourself doing."

Hahaha. I honestly just laughed out loud xD

"I like American history. The French almost always have the same story in the 20th century. It's like, 'We're with the Allies, but we don't actually do as much as they do, apparently, so we get less land.' That's usually how it felt," Suzanne chuckled, sipping at her drink again. She sighed dreamily at the thought of finding love. "Being a writer, I'm convinced, makes it harder to fall in love. All these conjured up ideas of amazing men who would never exist in real life: handsome, caring, funny, smart.." She looked at Christien momentarily and said, "You're lucky we're too close for that, or I'd be fighting you for him," she laughed. "Florentine doesn't have a clue what she lost. But he deserved better. I think you are better, you deserve him. And I'm glad that's how you feel about your parents' opinion. It shouldn't matter, but too often it does."

Haha good, that was my goal :)

Elaina paused for a moment, imagining Suzanne as a couple with Christien then pursed her lips, deciding she didn't like Christen with any other girl, even when she invisioned it. "I agree about the writing thing. It's the same with romantic movies. I honestly had given up on guys when my boyfriend cheated on me, but then, here's this gorgeous French man rescuing me and nuturing me on a stranded island." She laughed, resting her hand on her hip. "Trust me, you'll find love. And when you do, you better call us and go on a double date!" She really was being honest; Suzanne was nice, pretty and fun to talk to, she would be quite afraid if she had to fight with her over Christien. "And yes, my parents have been running my life since I was five and I never had the heart to tell them to back off. But, now that I'm going off to college, they can't do anything about it."

I can't really think of any good ones. Most of them probably come from the US to begin with anyway.

Suzanne had chuckled at Elaina's expression as she contemplated the idea of her with Christien-- she could tell that's what she was thinking of. "I know, it would be completely weird in every way. You don't have to worry at all about me ever liking him in that way. Besides, he's smitten with you, I wouldn't stand a chance," she said, smiling. "I'll find somebody someday. I'm fine with waiting for him." She finished off her glass and then set it down on a nearby table. "I'm so glad my parents aren't like that.." she said. "So, have you and Christien talked about how college is going to work and everything? It might be complicated, because he lives here and everything."

Hmm, I'll try to think of more.

Elaina felt herself inwardly take a breath of relief, even though she had been confident that Suzanne wouldn't ever feel that way towards Christien anyway, it was just a comfort that she couldn't resist taking. "You're much more patient than me," she commented, "I was so eager to find love that I just settled for a bunch of guys who simply ended up using me. Just remember, if you're ever feeling lonely or anything, that there's somebody somewhere who's perfectly made for you." Her smile slightly faltered at Suzanne's mention of their plans, or lack of plans. "Well, we haven't really discussed it fully. I mean, I'd love to just move here; I would in a heart-beat if it wasn't for the Princeton scholarship. And I doubt Christien would want to leave here for yucky, obese people populated Ameria."

Suzanne nodded. She felt that was good advice, but clearly she wasn't applying it to herself, based on the way she'd responded. "You have to remember that, too," she said, "Because, the fact is, when something is concerning the person who's made for you, then you'll find a way over these problems because nothing can separate you. Like, there is already part of a solution that I can think of. He's actually been in America for just under a year already, since he's studying English at university. He'll be going back, you know. It doesn't matter where he stays. He can study at Princeton, if he chooses."

"Yeah,, I just really hope it all works out; I think it will. And even if the locations clash, we can always just visit each other until I'm finished with college." Elaina stated, imagining all the struggles it would take to make a long-distance relationship work but then, also imagined her life without Christien. She concluded that she'd take the first over the second any day. She was also not even slightly concerned that he would ever cheat on her.

"I can't speak for him for ideas, since he may have plans I don't know about or he may object to some I put forward. But I'm pretty sure you guys can make it work around university," Suzanne said, "If you're determined they way you both are, things like distance and time don't matter too much."

Elaina nodded slowly, agreeing with Suzanne while also taking a long swig of her drink; she was beginning to feel a bit of the effects of the alchohol. "I definately think we'll find ways to work it out." She leaned more heavily on the table, relying on it to sustain half of her weight. "Tonight's been fun." She declared, smiling and running her eyes over Suzanne, Matt, Jean and Christian, happy that she'd got to meet them.

"It has been," Suzanna agreed with a smile. She saw Christien, who looked like he wanted to come and see Elaina again. She also figured, as they'd been there for a while, and it was getting late. "It was wonderful to meet you," she added.

Christien finished his drink and also his conversation with Mathieu and Jean. He made his way over to Elaina and took her hand squeezing it. He kissed her on the cheek, figuring that would slide for now and said, "Hey, beautiful."

"Hello, love. Suzanne and I had a great conversation." Elaina released his hand for a moment so she could give Suzanne a friendly hug saying, "I really hope we can hang out again; maybe next time at your University." She then leaned back and intertwined her fingers with his again, snuggling up to the side of his chest. "It was so great to meet you guys, too." She said directly to Matt and Jean, giving them both a polite kiss on the cheek, which was a custom --one that everyone tended to ignore from time to time-- in America.

Suzanne had hugged her back and said, "I hope so, too. Make sure you tell him to bring you before you go, okay?" She smiled and then joined Matt and Jean after they had said their goodbyes, as they were all catching a lift together. "It was lovely to meet you," Matt had said, with Jean saying, "We'll see you soon, no doubt. Take good care of him for us!"

Once outside, all three and Christien gave the customary goodbye, which was the same as the greeting, two kisses on the cheek, before heading in opposite directions. It must have looked funny to Elaina to see three grown guys kissing each other's cheeks, but that was how it worked. He called up a taxi for them and pulled her close to his side once they had gotten into the back of one.

Elaina rested her head on his shoulder while placing her body as close to his as possible, for comfort mostly. "Tonight was a lot of fun," she said again, her voice twinged with a sort of drowsy-ness, hinting of the alchohol she'd consumed; she wasn't as accustomed with alchohol as Christien might have been, since the drinking age was older in America - therefore, her drinking would be illegal. "We're visitng Suzanne at her college before I go; is that alright?"

Christien smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. He said, "It was fun. I'm glad you liked it, and also that you liked my friends." He had noticed that the alcohol had gotten to her a little bit, and he chuckled as he told her, "You don't have much of a stomach for it, then. That was only half beer and half lemonade." He seemed surprised by what she had said next. He could tell they had gotten along, but he hadn't expected Suzanne to have asked her to see her at University. "Of course we can. So you really got along with her, then?"

Alexa was new to crash on the island, so she had no idea what was happening (Really because im too lazy to read all these pages...)

Elaina felt another urge to simply close the distance between their lips and she struggled to let it pass, since, this one, was alchohol endused; making it much worse than the rest. "They were so nice; I liked the little, French greeting. And no, I suppose I don't. I've always been the designated driver for my friends. I've only been drunk...like, twice." She leaned back, shutting her eyes. "And, well, I slightly suggested it but it sounded like she would be happy if we visited her. She cares about you a lot, you know."
