When they said, "In the UK we will launch a new version in January of next year.", it sounds like they mean that they will launch the V.6 there, in January 2009. I wonder... That would be great! Well, if I could get one too. I'm in the US. Or maybe they meant the V5.5 will be launched in the UK in January of 2009... I don't know.

The UK is not going to get the V5.5, but they will get a V6 January 2009.

Well Japan has more kinds of tamagotchis than the U.S. Thats not a V6 but it still is interesting. I guess they only sell certain tamagotchis in Japan.
