During this time, Asher's mother had to keep herself from smiling too widely, or anything else of the sort. The truth was, she was hugely excited that Asher had really found a friend at last and, though Asher wouldn't like her to say it, and reply that it wasn't like that between them, that he had found a friend in a girl, whom she thought was very pretty indeed.

"Yeah, Asher mentioned that he'd met your Dad and your younger brother yesterday," Sarah said. Asher hoped she would elaborate more as to what he'd said about them, which she then did. "He said it was nice; that you all had spaghetti talked for a little while before you went to get coffee." Asher would never have told her what had happened besides eating spaghetti and going out for a coffee afterwards. He had lied that everyone had gotten along swimmingly, all for Morgan's sake.

'Naww, that's okay, really. I think I needed the day off school I'd had, really, it made the week much easier.

Oh, I see. I know that feeling. So awkward..

Morgan smiled greatfully at Asher. She knew he wouldn't speak of what had really happened last night, but it still meant a lot that he didn't tell his mom. Morgan's eyes wandered the kitchen. She loved every aspect of the Scott's home. It all seemed so cozy and warm and happy. Something that was the opposite side of the spectrum to what Morgan was used to.

Sorry I'm failing so much lately.

I'm having difficulties thinking straight. Haha.

Oh, and be back in a bit. Breakfast.

Asher returned with a sort of smile that said, "You're welcome, it's nothing," and then he noted how Morgan seemed to like his house an awful lot, she looked around a lot. He could imagine why; even though it wasn't huge or beautiful by any means, it was nice to be in. He then looked at his watch and said, "I hate to rush you, Morgan, I just thought you'd want enough time to get ready."

"Sure. I mean, don't feel forced, but if you want you can come in for a coffee afterward," Sarah suggested.

That's quite okay. You're not failing, anyway. It's really hard to keep stuff like this going. It's always a case of, "I want them to get together!!"

"Oh, okay." Morgan said, snapping out of her little daze. She turned to Sarah and said, "It was so nice to meet you. And I would love to come have coffee after dinner." She looked over at Asher with a look that said, "Come outside with me?" Before saying, "Well, I guess I better say good-bye to Sam, too. Bye, Sarah!" She called over her shoulder as she headed into the living room.

Oh yes, that's definitely the case :)

"Okay, we'll see you later, then. Bye, Morgan, it was lovely to meet you, too," Sarah said, waving at her as she left the kitchen. Asher then followed Morgan out through to the living room, and would then come outside with her after she'd said goodbye . Sam got up off the couch to say goodbye to Morgan. Asher told her, "She's coming back for coffee after dinner, so you'll see her later."

"Great!" Sam said. "Until, then, hopefully you have a good dinner and see you later, Morgan."

Oh, and, I only just saw it, see you after breakfast! :)

Morgan waved back to Sarah as she left. "Bye, Sam." sad said cheerfully as she headed towards the door. She opened the door, waiting for Asher to follow her out. She started walking to the car, a goofy grin on her face. "I really like your family." she said genuinely. "I can't wait to come back for coffee."

We got Breakfast Pizzas from this restraunt down the street :) They were so good !

Asher followed her out to the front of the house. He smiled and said, "I'm glad. They like you a lot, too, it seems. Just be prepared to be invited in every minute of the day, they're all so happy I've actually made a friend," he chuckled. "That can only be a good thing, of course, I'm glad they'd like you to be around as much as I do."

Breakfast pizzas? Elaborate, please!

"I'll gladly come over any time I'm invited. And you can come over anytime that my dad's not home. Cody likes you, and I'm sure Kyle will." Morgan assured him. She walked down to the car and leaned against it. "So are you picking me up or am I driving back over here?"

Pizza Crust, Cheese, Egg, and whatever other toppings you can think of <3

"Well, you are invited anytime, that, I can assure you," Asher told her with a smile." He then said to her, "Oh, no, I'll pick you up, of course. I'm pretty sure I remember the way. I'll pick you up at.. How does seven sound?"

Wow, that sounds really good. I've never heard of it being done over here..

"Seven sounds great." Morgan said smiling. "I'll see you then..." She opened the car door and put her seatbelt on. "Text me if you get the chance." she added before closing the door and starting the car. She waved as she pulled out of the driveway and turned onto the road.

Oh it's so good :)

Ugh, I'm trying to write an English Essay, but I'm failing immensely.

"Okay, see you then," Asher said. He smiled, replying, "I'm sure I'll get the chance at some point, don't worry," and then waved as she pulled out and drove away. He waited until he couldn't see her car at the end of the road. Why so long? He didn't even know, and didn't dwell on it too much as he went back into the house. He then headed straight for the shower, the beginnings of his getting read process.

Oh, same here. I was given a week to do mine, which I'm really annoyed about, because we're supposed to get about three... =S

Morgan drove, drumming her fingers on the steering wheel. In her rearview mirror, she had seen Asher watching her drive away. She sighed as she turned on the radio. The new Eminem song, Love the Way you Lie came on. Immeadiately, Morgan changed the channel. She hated that song. It was too similar to real life. After about five or six minutes, she pulled into her driveway. Morgan hurried inside, since she was so cold. Once the warmth had engulfed her, she decided to go shower.

Three weeks ?! Lucky!

I get like a week and a half for two essays.

Asher took a long shower, to thaw out after the cold; even in the house, it was chilly. He then got out and decided what he should wear. He had told Morgan he wasn't taking looking smart too seriously, since it was only his birthday, but he didn't want to look like a scruff, either. He picked out a pair of black trousers, a black button down shirt, of which he rolled up the sleeves and left the top button undone, and one of those thinner, fashionable ties, a red one.

They're a crucial part of our course, worth 60% of our GCSE grade, so that's why.

Morgan got out of the shower and shivered as her bare feet touched the cold floor. She wrapped her robe around herself and her hair in the towel as she looked through her closet, trying to decide what to wear. Something green, she decided, since it would look good with her eyes. She pulled out a dress and held it up to herself in the mirror. She decided that it would look good, and laid it on her bed. "Might as well wear all the curve-hugging stuff while I still can..." she mumbled to herself.

Oh. I would feel so pressured.

Asher realised it was going to be cold out, and picked out a jacket that could keep him warm when he wasn't inside the restaurant. He ran his hand back through his nearly dry hair, and decided it looked fine if he left it after that, and then went through to the living room Sam smiled and said, "You brush up pretty well," to which Asher chuckled and replied, "Well, thanks. At least you think I look alright."

Yup.. I've also got more art coursework to do for Wednesday.. It's all very stressful, I'm just holding onto the fact that I finish in May.

Mogan blow-dried her hair and messed around with it a little before deciding to put in a headband to keep her bangs back. She glanced at the clock. It was only six o'clock. She threw on a tee-shirt and shorts and sat on top of the bathroom counter to start her makeup. The doorbell rang, and she panicked for a split second, wondering what Asher was doing here so early. She ran to the door and realized it was Kyle. "KY-KYYY!" Morgan screamed, hugging him. "Hey, Morgan!" Kyle said, squeezing her tight, "Why are you all dolled up?" "I'm going out to dinner with a friend." she said, mumbling into his shirt. This would be a long hug.

Well, at least you love art, right?

Asher and Sam sat in the living room, chatting to each other. Their mom had joined for a while until she went to go and get dinner ready for everybody else, but he and Sam had continued to chat. He left about ten minutes before seven, so that he had time in case he took a wrong turn. He started up the car, and arrived pretty much dead on seven o' clock.

And, yeah, I do. At least I got to choose my topic this time, too.

Morgan saw Asher's car pull into the driveway. She turned to Kyle, "Okay, how do I look?" she asked. She was nervous, even though there was no reason to be. "You look great. I don't know how he'll consider you just a friend." he joked. "Shut up." she said, playfully hitting her brother's arm.

Asher got out of the car. He fiddled with his tie while he stood at the door, before he rung the doorbell, feeling nervous for every moment. It wasn't a date, technically, he didn't need to be, but he was.
