"I agree. I'm glad I won't find any surprise cats around your house when I pick you up later, then. And then that you won't find any at my house, either, whenever you decide to stop around, anyway," Asher laughed a little. He nodded at her comment. "I know, It'll be nice not to have fifty layers on, to not have to plough through the snow."

I know, it would be amazing <3 My mum was like, "I guess it would be amazing, but I suppose if you do it every night.." And then I said, "I don't think it would ever get old." Definitely, it always feels amazing to be on stage.

Haha, really? When I saw Hairspray, Edna and Wilbur did about ten minutes of extra improvising after Timeless to Me, because they were just laughing so much xD

"No, the only pet you'll find is Cody's goldfish." Morgan said, laughing. "I love summer. No school, no winter coats, no snow. It's my favorite season."

-sorry for the fail, again.-

Ugh. School is oh so stressful. Do you have any idea what a circle of fifths is in Music? Because I'm oh so lost.!

"Okay, I'm cool with that," Asher chuckled. "What time can I pick you up at, anyway?" he asked her. He then nodded, "I like the summer. I used to go sailing and such on the lake in the Valley and then swim. I think being alone is easier in the summer, I can find things to do with myself."

That's okay :)

Okay, so a Circle of Fifths is used to help you work out the key of a piece of music, and the notes in its scale. So it's starts with Cmajor which has no sharps for flats. And you have a separate circles, one for adding sharps and one for adding flats. Okay so far?

I should probably also ask, do you read music?

Morgan's eyes grew wide with excitement. "You've been sailing? What's it like?" she asked, eagerly. "Oh, you can pick me up whenever you're ready to eat. I really don't care when, as long as I have time to get your gift." She thought for a moment before asking, "By the way, what is your favorite clothing store?"

Yeah, I can read music for the most part, but I don't see my vocal teacher for two more weeks so I can't ask her.

I'm with you so far.

"It's a lot of fun. I built a small sailing boat with my dad-- kind of like a bonding exercise for us," Asher said, "And then he taught me to sail it, so I could take it out by myself." He smiled, a kind of one that suggested he thought fondly of the nostalgia he was getting. "It's exhilarating, a lot of fun. Maybe if we go to visit family sometime.." he cut himself off. "No, that's a weird proposal, I woildn't expect you to say yes." He then answered, "My favourite clothing store? I'll say Hollister (Because I know you have it over there xD)."

Okay, well, so long as you can read it that's cool. So, for instance, lets say you're singing from sheet music and you want to know what key it's in if it has three sharps. A circle of fifths goes clockwise, starting with no sharps at the top and adds a sharp (or flat, if you're looking at flats) in each segment going clockwise. So you'd go to three sharps. It would tell you that three sharps is A major, and the sharps it uses in the scale are F#, C# and G#

Is that okay?

Morgan rubbed her hands together, a little uncomfortable with the offer. "No, that's sweet, but I don't think that'd be such a good idea." She tugged at her ponytail a bit, before saying, "Hollister? That's cliche." she laughed. "But honestly, I don't blame you. That store always smells so good."

Yeah, I'm getting it :)

"I'm really sorry.. I don't realise things like that until I'm halfway through saying them," Asher said, pursing his lips a little, inwardly slapping and scolding himself for even thinking of that. "I think I like going in there more than I like the clothes. I'm not the kind of guy who really fits in in Hollister. Okay, so I'll change my mind, basing it purely on clothes, my favourite clothes store is Desigual. It's definitely an artistic person's kind of store."

Awesome. And it's called a Circle of Fifths because the Key signatures go up a fifth from the previous key. Eg. C major has no sharps, its major fifth is G, so G major is the next key in the circle of fifths, with one sharp. Then D is G major's fifth, so D major comes next.

It goes the opposite way for flats. C major. C is the major fifth in the F major scale, so the next in the circle of fifths, with one flat is F major. F is the major fifth of the B♭ major scale, so the next key, with two flats is B♭Major. And so on and so forth.

And that's a Circle of Fifths for you :)

"It's okay." Morgan said, giving him a reassuring smile. "I ramble, so I guess we're even." Morgan added, shrugging. "Hmm. I've never heard of that place. Looks like giftcard to Desigual is out." Morgan said, laughing.

Thanks oh so much :) You're the best!

Asher had been about to point out that rambling was probably not anywhere near the same as asking a weird, partially uncomfortable question to someone, but he just decided to drop the subject. He replied, "You generally only find it in big cities here. That was partly tactical, so you wouldn't be able to get me anything, though I really do like it as well." He chuckled slightly. "Nice try."

Phew, I'm glad it made sense xD You're very welcome :)

So do you play an instrument or have you learned to read music for singing?

Morgan sighed, though it was a sigh of content, and not an 'I'm-so-bored' sigh. She looked around at her surroundings, taking everything in. "What's it like, being a boy, I mean?" Morgan asked. She always thought of the most random questions.

Yeah, we have to be able to read it for Chorus.

Asher seemed confused and yet amused by her question. What was it like to be a guy? How can you answer that unless you know if it's anything like being a girl? "Well, I can only try and answer that as best as I can, I don't know that it would be of much interest, though. I guess you kind of just think everybody lives and feels exactly the same way you do. I think I'll address the stereotypes. It's difficult, because it's a guy thing to try not to show emotion, looking weak is somewhat socially unacceptable, a kind of unspoken rule," he began. "This includes sensitivity towards girls. So I guess it's often a case of, choose the girl, or your guy friends, not both.

"I think sometimes we tend to worry about less important things than girls; so less about schoolwork, more about the football score. On the contrary we worry less about reputation, being beautiful, because that's not so important to us..

"I can't speak for every guy, certainly because I'm not exactly your normally, socially acceptable kind of guy. But we care more about people's feelings-- or even a perso-- than we let on, often too shy to let it out, even if you're the most outgoing guy in the world. Troubled by making important decisons.. Hormonal-- some much more than others, but as a general rule. Unable to fully understand the female mind. That is how I wpuld describe what it's like to be a guy."

Oh, god. That's really long xD

That's really good, and pretty unusal. Because so many singers try and take higher nusic education and cannot read music. None of the first study singers in my music class were able to read music at the start of our course. Most still can't. So that's awesome that you can :)

Morgan pondered on this for a moment before saying, "It seems like being a guy is a hxll of a lot easier than being a girl. Girls worry about everything. Or at least, most girls do. We care about our looks, how guys think of us, our grades, our passions. We care about way too much, if you ask me. We also have to deal with periods, which suck balls. We also get the joy of giving birth, which is extremely painful, from what I hear.

"We expect a lot, too. Girls have come to expect that her Edward Cullen or Prince Charming, or whoever the hxll they think is the perfect guy, will just come riding on a horse. Which doesn't happen, most of the time. Guys are never perfect. Of course, there aer a couple exceptions, but those are rare. Most guys are just fxcked up xssholes." Morgan nose was crinkled and her face was turning a slight shade of pink, not from embarassment, but from anger.

Yeah, we have to sight read in our audition. It's nerve wracking. Haha.

"I always imagine it is easier being a guy, I've never doubted that for one moment," Asher had said in reply to her first comment. Life in general wasn't easy, that was for sure, but he had always thought that there were things that made life for girls even more difficult. He watched as she seemed to get upset, angry even, at the thought of the guys she knew, guys who had hurt her. "Well, I apologise for the fact that we guys are 'ssholes. And I'm sorry for everything that guys have ever done to you. You need an apology from someone, since I guess you won't from any of them. And I hope that one day, and soon, too, your idea of the perfect man will appear, whether he be on horseback or whatever else for that matter." He honestly felt, certainly after everything she'd done for him, as well as what she'd been through, that she deserved to find her prince charming.

Oh, gosh. I couldn't do that. Though I'm being trained to. I mean, I can easily sight read piano stuff, but not singing.

Morgan realised she was rambling and stopped talking. "Sorry, I just get sort of...worked up." She shoved her hands into her pockets and said, "I don't think my perfect guy would ever come riding on a horse." she said, smirking a bit. "I'd call him gay and move on."

Yeah, we have to sight read in front of the class, too.

I GOT 100 ON MY MUSIC THEORY TEST :)

"That's okay. Sometimes you just have to let it all out," Asher said, smiling at her reassuringly. He didn't mind her rambling at all. "And it's not rambling when you're right, either." He laughed at her next comment, though, and nodded as he said, "I didn't think you would go for the guy on horseback, somehow, either. Just a hunch you were a bit less fairytale than that. What would your perfect guy come riding in on?"

Oh, gosh, I'd hate that.

Woooo! Any circle of fifths questions?

Morgan pondered the question for a moment before saying, "Well, I'm not exactly sure. Probably not any sort of animal. Or any type of fancy car... most likely, he'd walk." She nodded, and looked down, as if studying the snow. "How would your perfect girl react to meeting you?"

Yeah, I seriously want to go die everytime.

Not yet, probably next week's test.

"Oh, so you're not so into fancy cars, either?" Asher seemed a bit surprised, most girls found them sort of attractive, he thought. But, then, he didn't get along with most girls, either. "Well, I think it would have to take time to realise they're perfect. You have to get to know them. So my perfect girl would just have the courage to speak to me despite what everybody else says about me, and would just want to get to know me for who I am. And when I know she's perfect, I would hope she likes me, too."

Still, that's awesome.

I did well in my practice exam last year. I think my teacher was surprised, actually xD

Morgan shrugged, "I guess they'd be nicer than my old car, but I don't mind not having a fancy one." She nodded at Asher's response, "Describe what you think the perfect girl would be like." She tightened her ponytail, considering the wind was blowing her tied back hair all over the place.

Really? Why was she surprised?

Asher pondered that for a moment before he said, "Well, I think that she would be patient with me, most of all. I'm not an easy person to deal with, I know, and she would be able to find the best in me and not what's wrong with me. I don't care whether she's interested in the same things as me to the point of doing them, but maybe if she just liked what interests I have, that's enough. And she'd just have to be happy with me, who I am, most imortantly. Being beautiful isn't so important to me, but if she was, that would be a plus." He wondered if he'd missed anything off, but the truth was that he really didn't have expectations of girls on what they should have and such. "And your perfect guy?" he asked her.

Perhaps, because I play popular music on the piano and guitar, and not grades, I suppose he thought my theory wouldn't be so strong. But I don't know.

He can be weird sometimes, he actually dissed my guitar playing to another person behind my back. He promptly ate his words when I played for him a week later.

Morgan scrunched up her face, thinking. "Dedicated. That's definately one of the first words that comes to mind. Faithful is another. Uhm, I'd like them to have some sort of talent, whether it be art or something else. He would have to be a good listener, considering I love to talk. He'd have to like my for me, and not just my body. I wouldn't want him to listen to rumors that other ignorant people say. Uhm, I'm not sure what else to say. Being attractive, would be a plus, of course."

You go, Tarryn :)

Haha, I think that's funnyy :)

Do you have a homecoming over in Europe?
