Asher told her, "I really want you to answer me truthfully in a moment, okay? He said that you don't actually like me as a friend. You just want to have sex with me and then leave because, and I quote 'it's what you always do'." He said, "Please tell me it isn't true.. I don't want believe it, and most of me doesn't, especially coming from him. But I have to know."

Morgan was shocked. As cliche as it sounds, her jaw literally dropped. "He really said that?" she asked, her voice cracking a little at the end. Why would Riley say something like that? She bit her lip and debated on how in depth she should go with her explination. "Well, I-- uhm, I usually do that kind of thing. But honestly, Asher, I think of you as a great friend. I don't want to get in your pants and leave. In fact, I really don't want to get in your pants at all, anymore. Please, believe me."

Asher didn't ask about the 'anymore' part of one of her sentences. He did believe her. Because she admitted to him that Riley was right that she usually did do that to guys; the fact that she didn't deny that told him she wan't trying to hide anything. He said to her, "I do believe you. I'd believe you over him any day. Thank you for being honest with me. I had to get it off my mind.." He then smiled and added, "You know, I think he wants to get rid of me. He definitely still wants to get in your pants, and he thinks I will instead."

Morgan sighed in relief and said, "I'm so glad that you do." She wrinkled her nose when Asher talked about Riley. "Trust me, he won't be getting back into my pants." she said, looking down at the ground. "And niether will you." she added. "I think I'm done with sleeping around. It's really not as satisfying as I thought."

"You can do a lot better than him or me, anyway," Asher told her. He nodded at her comment, "I have no intention of getting into your pants. Though I'm sure you probably knew that anyway." He put his hands in his pockets and asked her, "So what does seem satisfying to you instead?"

Morgan laughed at his comment. "More like you don't deserve me"She said, crossing her arms. "I'm not really sure what is satisfying to me. I'm perfectly happy without Riley, or anyone else who is just with me to say they have been. But I-I'm..." Morgan stopped talking and looked down at the ground again. "So did you decide where we're eating tonight?" she asked, changing the subject yet again.

"Yeah. I really don't think I would," Asher chuckled. He was hugely curious to know what she was going to say. But he thought better of bringing it up. He instead went along with the change of subject and said, "Oh, well, I guess I probably should finalise that.. Okay, I saw the Chinese restaurant. It looked great. Are you okay with that?"

Asher smiled and said, "Okay, good. Me, too. I thought about the Italian, but it's a little cliché and boring for a.. Birthday dinner." Had he really been about to call it a 'date'? He couldn't figure out why he would, he didn't see it as one. Glad for a change of subject, he said, "I think so, actually. It was something along the lines of 'Because it's easier to seduce people when it's with a nice language.' Which is true, I suppose," he chuckled. "..Well, I imagine it must be, anyway."

Hope you feel better soon, by the way :) Down some Lucozade and lots of chocolate ;P

Morgan nodded, not noticing the fact that Asher hesitated slightly before saying 'Birthday dinner'. She chuckled a little when Asher gave her the translation. "Oh, you were so close." Morgan said, smiling. "I said, 'Because it's easier to seduce people when it's a pretty language.' You were close enough for me, though"

I'm feeling much better, thank you :)

"Not bad for a non-Spanish speaker, anyway," Asher chuckled. "It gave me a little something to do during French. That, and passing notes with out dear friend Riley," he said, rolling his eyes a little. He asked her, "So, I'm trying to figure out.. Say it's Valentine's Day or somthing, are you a flower person, or a chocolate person? Or both? Or neither, maybe?" It was genuinely a casual question.

Good =D

"You're right, not bad at all. I'm very proud of you." Morgan said, smirking. Morgan thought about Asher's question for a moment before responding, "Well, I don't really know. I've never gotten either. Honestly, the only guys to ever get me gifts were my brothers. And they were never flowers or chocolate." She looked around for a moment before lowering her voice and asking, "You wanna ditch the last half of the school day?"

"I can hear the sincerity in your tone," Asher said sarcastically, chuckling. He contemplated the answer to her question, and then said, "Really? Never? Guys should learn how to treat you right, Morgan." Her idea seemed fine to him. His teachers wouldn't even notice he was gone, and none of the students would, and he rarely listened. "Sure, why not?" he replied.

"Oh you can?" Morgan asked, laughing. When he told her guys should treat her right, she simply shrugged and said, "I've grown used to it. I stop caring a long time ago." When he agreed to leave, Morgan grabbed his hand and pulled him down the hallway, practically sprinting. Once they were outside she said, "My car. Let's go."

"Suit yourself, I suppose," Asher said. And he guessed that one would stop caring about gestures like that after a prolonged amount of time without them. He kept at her pace, though he'd been somewhat surprised at first by her speed, all the way to the car. "So, do you have any idea where we're going?" he asked her.

"No, I have no clue yet. Just get in the car before someone notices two students walked out of the building." Morgan said, getting into the driver's seat. She started the car, waiting for Asher to get in.

Haha, it's okay. I have those moments all the time xD

How's your day been?

Morgan put the car in reverse and pulled out of the parking lot. Once they were on the road, Morgan asked, "So why were you wondering if I like chocolate or flowers? It's really not a typical random question." She made a sharp right turn and continued straight. "I think we're going to a coffee shop, if that's okay with you." Morgan said, making another turn.

Great, thanks. I was my friend's 16th today, so we had a little party. Great fun =D

How about you?

Oh, I have to get dinner. I'll talk to you.. Later, at some point :)

Asher said, "Well, I suppose it isn't really. I guess because I invited you out, maybe I was thinking of getting you either. But at the same time, I think I was just curious, I don't know," he chuckled. He looked out of the window and said, "A coffee shop sounds fine to me. I think I could use some, actually. It wasn't even a whole day at school and it felt long. But, at least I did have you to talk to for a change."

It was good :)

Today I have dance camp for five straight hours. D:

Oh, well, it'll be fun :)

Morgan's face flushed, but she said, "No, no, no. I don't want anything from you. It's your birthday, remember? I'm the one getting you gifts." She pulled into the small parking lot of the small coffee shop and parked in a spot near the door. She turned off the car, and got out.
