Well, at least he'd seemed like he didn't care at all to Riley. Asher didn't want to be beaten by a guy like him. He had been worried, after reading Riley's note, that maybe Morgan was using him-- he just didn't show it in hir responses. But, if she was, he would find out, and she wouldn't get what she wanted from him anyway. That wasn't to say it wouldn't hurt that she would do that to him, though. He would have to be positive and sort of think, 'Oh well, at least somebody ever wanted me for that. It's a first.'
He didn't want to believe it, and he didn't, for the most part, coming from Riley. He honestly thought he was jealous because Morgan was ignoring him, and instead talking to a guy who was completely unpopular and perhaps a little bit weird. He spotted him and Morgan by the same tree he'd been sat at during his free period, and just strolled over casually, to wait for Morgan.
