Marana smiled slightly. "I couldn't have pushed you away...."

Marana buried her head into Cyph's shoulder, not knowing what to say next.

Marana flinched a little at the sound of thunder, holding on tighter to Cyph.

"Don't worry, you're safe her." Cyph told Marana. He smiled softly. It was nice and cozy in the tent, he wasn't cold even though he should have been. He just wanted to stay like this forever.

Marana relaxed a bit when Cyph told her she was safe. She was glad she finally found someone she could trust.

Marana sighed contently and smiled, she was finally genuinely happy.

Eventually Cyph let go. He reached to his bag, and pulled out a blanket. "Sorry, I was getting cold." he said, putting the blanket over Marana and himself.

smoke had ran several miles by the time he reached the temple "so this is the ancient fortress of the spirits..." he used his blade like a key to open the doors, closing them behind him causing the large and complex mechanism to relock the doors

Cyph frowned. "Something's not right. I feel like someone is somewhere they shouldn't be, and it's my fault for not protecting it..."

Marana pulled back a bit to meet eyes with Cyph. "Do you think it might have something to do with that one guy we keep seeing?"
