Fang nodded. "I really care about her a lot." Dawn's words seemed to sink deep into his heart, making him feel warm and happy. "You know Dawn, I told you this before, but I don't think you heard me," Fang said with a large grin. "You've got beautiful eyes."

"Oh ok... I 'm glad they're alright now." Shelly smiled brightly. "Chloe seems like a very nice person, not to be rude but I don't know why anybody would want to be rude to her." She looked down at her paw and licked it.

Dawn squirmed pleasently at Fang's compliment and she licked the side of his muzzle, "Thank you, Fang!" She turned to look at Shelly, still surprisingly giddy from Fang. "I know, Chloe's wonderful. I couldn't imagine a better, kinder alpha."

Fang could not have been happier. "Okay, now I am really glad I stayed here with you . . . I mean," he said blushing, "I mean, with everyone."

Fang looked at Shelly. "That's just how some people are. They like to take advantage of other people's kindness. But don't be fooled Shelly," Fang stated. "Chloe can get pretty nasty, but only if she is provoked."

Shelly chuckled. "I wouldn't like to get on her bad side then, if it's as bad as you say." She paused. "I'm actually getting kind of tired, from all that walking. Sorry but I think I'm going to go get some rest." Shelly stood up and walked over to a flat spot and lie down to rest.

Dawn couldn't help but smile at Fang's slight flustered attitude. "I'm glad you stayed with everyone too." She barked happily, trying to ignore that familiar feeling that urged her to go cold again. No, she told herself, with Fang it was okay for her to let go. "When I see Chloe, sometimes I miss my own pack. And that's the only downfall of being here."

Fang licked the side of her cheek. "I'm sorry about what happened." He got closer to her and looked up at her from he was laying. "But I'm really glad you came here Dawn. That's about the only thing I'm NOT sorry about," Fang said with a grin.

Dawn nuzzled her head under the crook of his neck, feeling, for once in her rough life, that she was genuinly safe. "It's okay, Fang. Terrible things happen to everyone. I'm not the only one. And I'm really glad I came to. I'm glad Chloe and you accepted me so easily."

Fang snuggled his head over hers, feeling giddy beyond imagination. "It's the way we were raised," he replied, his heart swelling with emotions he'd never felt before. "You're the most amazing person I've ever met, you know that?" he asked, still snuggling against Dawn.

Dawn smirked before playfully argueing against his compliment, "I'm really not. You should have seen me with my last pack. I was a ruthless leader. If you saw me then, you wouldn't be saying these things. And that's who I really am." A long sigh escaped her snout, as she knew that what she said was pretty much true. A part of her felt as though she was letting Fang down, and shamelessly leading him on to think she was a wolf that she wasn't.

"That's why I think you're amazing," he replied. "I like you for you Dawn. I've seen the spicy attitude you can get sometimes, although I admit I've never seen you angry. I hope I never do, at least, with me anyway. I like a girl who's not afraid to get tough sometimes," he laughed. "And here you are," he said with a playful nudge of his snout. "I don't ever want this to end." He said and continued to nuzzle Dawn. Fang, for the first time in his life, was actually starting to fall for a girl.

Dawn snorted, giving him a fer licks at his jaw-line, out of affection and appreciation for his compliments. "I doubt I'll ever be angry with you; highly doubt. I know we've barely known eachother for a day, but I feel like I've known you my entire life. Is that strange?" While awaiting a response, she moved her tongue from licking by his muzzle up to behind his ear and progressing to his neck, as far as she could reach while they were in that position.

Fang, thoroughly enjoying her affection, tried to think of something amusing to say. "You have known me all your life. You've seen me in your dreams, I'm sure," he grinned.

Dawn let out a little bark of amusement and decided to play along. "Oh, that's right. I forgot about our dream meetings which were more then pleasent, for what I can remember."

Fang laughed. "Any dream with me in it is pleasing!" Fang replied in playfully cocky manner as he winked at Dawn.

Dawn laughed and playfully swatted his flank with her tail. "I'm sure you've dreamt about me as well, right?" She asked with a suggestive tone; for the first time actually doing something besides barking orders with a male.

"Oh yeah, all the time," he replied casually. "You're the girl of my dreams!" Fang blushed hard, having admitted his feelings for Dawn out loud. He never wanted to leave her side. He wanted to protect her from every danger, every painful experience, and sadness that she had ever gone through or might face in the future. "I never thought that we would end up like this," he said. "When we first met, I thought you disliked me. But I was still drawn to you for some reason. Maybe it was those killer eyes of your," he said with a charming grin.

Dawn laughed light-heartedly and nuzzled his jaw before plopping her head back down onto her paws once more. "You're too cute." She responded with a sweet tone, her tail twitching back and forth happily. "I didn't dislike you, for the record, I was just wary. As I am with everybody. And my eyes aren't that interesting." She purred, trying to be modest.

"I beg to differ. Your eyes are beautiful! Just like the rest of you," he replied warmly. "You really think I'm cute?" he asked in a boy-ish tone.
