Leslie had her eyes closed, pretending to sleep.

"Oh, BB. There's no point in anything anymore. Dafret obviously doesn't care about me anymore."

She giggled childishly. "R-Really?"

Morgaine stopped, putting her hands in her lap. "I'm sorry."

 
Shadow was clinging to leslie, his ears flattened against his head out of affection.

"He has his own problems Drew...im here either way.."

Nekro smiled and nodded, keeping the accent, " Ya be my tropical bliss, mon"

M.A.1 picked the book up, "...what's a titan?"

Dafret smiled slightly, his voice a little shaky, "Hey scarlet. How are you and the kids?"

 
Scalret murmured, "We're fine, honey. How... how are you?" Her voice cracked at the end. She felt like she was going to start crying again.

 
"Oh Shadow~" she whispered.

Drew clung to BB now, sniffling. "T-Thank you."

She giggled more, her face flushing a bright red. "I see~"

"Good question," Morgaine said.

 
"Leslie..." He whispered back, sighing happily.

BB smiled and kissed the top of her head, "Shh shh...dont mention it."

Nekro giggled, "Been a while since i tried Troll tongue."

M.A.1 opened the book to a random page, reading in his head, "Ooh.."

"I-i'm fine. a little cold and ill but it'll pass...hopefully."

his voice sounded scared at the end.

 
Scarlet whispered, "I miss you, Dafret. I hate being away from you." Her voice started to quiver as she spoke. She was nervous, and emotional. Not a good combination.

 
She smiled softly. "I love you."

Drew looked up at BB. "I s-should m-m-mention it."

"Your good~"

Morgaine just watched him.

 
"I love you too~"

BB tilted his head slightly, "Really?"

Nekro grinned again, "Tank ya, mon"

M.A.1 had that fascinated look on his face, "Wow..."

"I miss you too..but..this is for the best. i need to learn what i did wrong."

 
"I want to go home!" She exclaimed. "...Can you at least come over tonight, to see the kids? Claire and Sam really miss you." She didn't mention Blanch. She figured they both knew that she would take a long time to get over what happened.

 
Leslie gave a little purr of affection. "Hmm. How long should we stay here?"

"Y-yes. Your so good to me~"

Little Kinsey started reaching for his crotch, watching his face with innocence as she shrunk to ten.

"What?"

 
"Hmm...i dont know~"

BB grinned, a spark of imagination lighting up behind his eyes, "Hmmmm...that gives me an idea..somehow."

Nekro closed his eyes and blushing, tensing up.

"I want to meet a titan!"

Dafret gulped, his voice really shaky and scared now, "B-b-b-but your father..."

 
"My father will just have to accept that they're your children and mine. It's our family. Dafret.... Sam cried today. He never cries. But today, he looked so.. defeated. So alone, and scared. Please. The kids need you. And I... I need you too." She sobbed aloud, trying to remain quiet.

 
Leslie giggled. "Ah~ I'd stay here forever if it meant being with you."

"What kind of idea?"

Little Kinsey grabbed his crotch and almost pulled away, being ten and all. But she kept it there anyway, biting her lower lip.

"...why?"

 
Shadow blushed and smiled, his ears flattening even more.

BB quickly took some paper and a pen from his pocket and quickly sketched a locket of some sorts, "There..now it needs your personal touch and i'll go make it."

Nekro relaxed a little, moving his legs slightly.

"they sound like fascinating beings...and creative too"

Dafret was silent for a little while before speaking again, "O-ok. I'll be there as soon as possible."

 
"I love you," she murmured, trying to keep him on the line for as long as she could. She never knew just how wonderful someone's voice could sound. But she knew it now. She was terrified that, when she hung up, he would disappear. "I love you," she repeated, suddenly sure of herself, even though there was anguish in her voice.

 
Leslie stroked his ears, giggling.

"What kind of touch?"

She didn't know what to do now. She tilted her head so her hair fell in her eyes.

"I seeee."

 
Shadow purred lightly, rubbing his head against her hand.

"an insignia. a logo. a sign. something like that."

Nekro gently moved the hair out of her eyes.

M.A.1 flipped through the pages again, "...Apparantly they reside under Elder Springs...wherever that is."

"I love you too, Scarlet." He said, followed by the sound of keys being picked up and the phone being put down.

He darted outside and past BB and Drew and into the workshop, hopping onto BB's project motorbike, "This thing filled up?"

BB sighed, "Yes..."

The engine of the bike revved into life as Dafret pushed it outside.

 
Scarlet put her phone down, suddenly feeling faint. She needed water. She rushed to the kitchen, feeling a sick spell coming on. She just hoped the baby was okay. Drinking from her glass, she leaned against the sink.
