Space Channel 5 (Dreamcast, but I think it will be released for something else) - I had this game when I was little, got addicted, brought it everywhere with me, then sat on it D: but I remember this game was really fun ^^

Sonic Adventure [DX Director's Cut] (Dreamcast; Gamecube) - It's a fun game where you can play as different charaters. You can also raise cute pets called Chao.

City Lights post reminded me of another one...

Sonic Adventure Battle 2 : I think this is one of the greater Sonic games. You can play as a Good or Bad character... And I like the Chao gardens better in this one...

 

[Hallowed]

Journey to Silius is a vastly underestimated game from the days of the NES, and is one of the few NES titles with multiple people working on the music. It had five musical developers and, holy crap, it shows!

For recent games, I am vastly enjoying Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. It's violent, insane, disturbing, bloody, messed up, and everything else in between. It's a freaking awesome RPG. I cannot wait for the FES version on the 22nd.
